Try to correct a misunderstanding of when I could pay the full amount on the *st of every month, being social security. Not on the middle of the month, I never make arrangement to pay anything in the middle of the month, no funds available til the first of each month. ... Account * is ********* Service was disconnected over a bill that 'was due' on *-**-**, that I supposedly made arrangement to pay on the **th. I never make arrangement for the middle of the month. I'm ** yrs old and now have no way to call for help, if needed for emergency because of medical problems being diabetic and have congestive heart failure. PHONES ARE VERY NEEDED for elderly people . At LEAST a dam phone. I know ATT has lost tons of customers because of the virus. I tried to make arrangement to pay the total due on Sept. *st. But no, that wouldn't work. It had to be on the ** of August, when I don't get paid for another * wks. Someone put on my file that was the arrangement made and wasn't kept. That's bull, when many people live on Soc. Sec. and we have to pay everything the first of the month when money is in the bank. This has created a big problem for me, when I live alone and can't even call ***. *I wished someone would try and understand this and help me. *It's like ATT is trying to get money from the customers that they do have to make up for lost revenue from many many customer losing their service. *Please reconnect my services, and of course I'm going to be charged $**.** to reconnect twice, phone and internet. God, can ATT think of anything they've forgot to attach to our bills! Even the man who came out to hook up service told me, that ATT will up your bill and the charges will be somewhere in fine print. He works for Att. and that's not really a nice comment for Att from an employee. *I still need the services and I can make the $***.** on Sept. first through a bank check that would clear. I've done this many times and had no problem.*My complaint is I DID NOT MAKE A PROMISE TO PAY ON AUGUST **th, when I'm without funds until the first of each month. It just never happens and it's not right to do this over such a minor detail as a misunderstanding of when I could pay my bill.*I hope you can help because I trust that ATT will work this problem out for me.*As luck would have it, having no phone service, I'd have a heart attack again and can't call for help and possibly die. That's a scary thought, but at ** yrs old, things do happen. The reason elderly people NEED a way to communicate. Thanks for reading this and maybe, just maybe there's a way you could call me, if needed and I could give you better information on how this has affected me greatly. Thanks*Evelyn Sanchez****-***-****
Trying to work with an agent is wasted time, they are always giving a canned speech, of what can be done. I couldn't even talk to a supervisor or someone that can override the agent that told me he would have an agent call me and took the info. and made a request to speak to a PERSON. I waited for days for another agent, but of course, I never received a call.
Turn services back on and take the total due on Sept. *st, when the money is available
I've had the service maybe a year or little longer and I consider myself a good customer. Being elderly I try my best to keep communication available to me. The reason for at least a phone.
I've tried with the worthless agents that I could FINALLY get one.
