I purchased an iphone ** pro max ***gb on **-**-**** , this was done online and I was billed **.** at which I was told that I could p*u the phone in the store the following day. I received an email informing me my phone was ready for p*u on **-**. I drove to the store after some problems with getting me the phone it was finally delivered to me. At that time I informed the lady that I was planning on exchanging an iphone X after giving this phone to sister in law , as per advertized special promo, and also said I was leaving on a skiing trip. She told I had ** days to make the exchange. I attempted to make the exchange on *- **-**** but was told I couldn't exchange the phone because it was over a ** day exchange period ** days if it was corporate. I told her this was unacceptable as my whole purpose for using at&t was the phone credit offered as billing credits. She said I should call customer service. I had intended to also pay the first months bill after resolving this issue and that of them not crediting the **.** to the account, but she said i should wait until after i contact customer service. I'm in the process of opening a new location for my company which is the focus of my attention right now and doesn't allow me the time to spend on the phone trying to fix this issue. All i want is for them to honor our agreement to give a credit for the phone i wanted to exchange. Also i need to know what happened to the amount i paid online and see the debit on my credit card statement. I have one more issue that has surfaced since the original purchase date, my sister in law has decided she wants to keep her same phone number so she just switched out the sim cards so we dont need the new phone line . If this can be handled also i would greatly appreciate this.
