Hello,***I am writing to make a complaint along with a question about whether I should return the router gear. **I used the AT&T Internet service since this June until August *. I moved to a new place on August **. Before that, I used online chat to make sure everything is all set (I can provide the chat history when asked). My understanding (and supposed also the chat agent's) is that i) I took my original router to the new place, ii) the service ended on August * at the old address and started on August ** at the new address, and iii) There will be a technician coming over to check if everything is all right on August **th at the new place. However, when i was done moving on August ** I could not connect to the Internet service which was supposed to be activated. Then I called customer service at ********** and was told that in the system it showed that my service will start on August **. This is unfortunately wrong regarding the previous agreement with the online chat agent. But they said they could not change it and will send a technician here one day earlier than August **, which is August **. However, when I checked my account yesterday I found that, yes, a technician will come over at the said time but the address is wrong! The address shown in my account is my old address. I need instead to start my Internet here at my new address. Then I used the online chat device again to made a correction for this matter, but I felt those agents did not treat this matter seriously, and they had me transferred twice to another agent. At the second time I quit the chat for obvious reasons. It is not over here* I latter found out that I could not log in to my account. Then I visited the local AT&T retailer near me at **** E North Ave, Milwaukee, WI ****** the Retail Sales Consultant Cody Breber there told me that my account was deleted, which I never asked. Then he said the best he can do is to start a new service for me with the earliest possible date being August **. I hesitated but agreed. Today one of my friends helped me out of this no Internet problem so I do not need the service anymore. I dropped by the same store and Cody Breber said he will cancel the order for me. Now I am not sure if I should return the original router equipment to AT&T or not. Please let me know* thank you.*****Regards,*Yu-Lin Chou
