I upgraded my daughters phone. Store rep said minor damage to phone meant I could not return device and that I had to pay additional $*** on top of upgrade fee. Paid at time phone was upgraded. After my daughter received a text they were going to charge her for her unreturned phone, I Called AT&T on **** to make sure no additional charges would be applied to account as it was already paid and showed paid on my bill. I was assured none would as it was clear I already paid. On same day they charged additional $*** I had already paid. Have called AT&T twice since and spoken with * different people ( I have detailed notes) who acknowledge the charge is incorrect, they can see I have already paid. After ** minutes each time of attempting to "fix it" they disconnect me and do not call back, even though they have number. I believe they think if they just aggravate me and waste my time, I will give up and pay them twice for the same charge.
