I have a friend who does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and she swears by Lululemon's leggings. According to her, it's worth paying the extra money for these leggings because unlike cheap leggings they don't split or get holes in them. She said that if I opt for a couple of pairs of these I won't need to buy any leggings for the next couple of years. Since I'm tired of replacing my leggings every couple of months, I thought that I might buy a pair and give it a try. If I like them, then I may buy more.
However, I don't know much about the brand or how they would fit me and there isn't a Lululemon store near my home. Therefore, I thought that my best bet would probably be to talk to someone from the company. I also realized that there are a lot of people who wear Lululemon, so I had no idea what to expect when calling. People could be calling about returns, order status, Lululemon programs, and probably a dozen other things. Despite this, I still got help from a live person within about six minutes, which was certainly good enough for me.
When I first called, I was greeted by an automated voice assistant that said, "Thank you for calling Lululemon. For service in English, press 1." After I pressed one, it continued on, "To find out more about our privacy practices, go to Lululemon.com and click on the privacy policy in the center of the bottom of the page. Thank you for contacting Lululemon. If you are calling about an order you already placed, press 1. For help with product recommendations, placing an order, or a new order, press 2. If you have questions about a specific style or inventory availability, press 3. For questions about a return, press 4. For questions about Lululemon programs, press 5. If you have questions about Lululemon studio mirror, or studio mirror products, press 6. For any other questions, press 7."
I chose 2 since it seemed to line up with what I needed the most, and then it said, "If you are a military first responder member and need support placing an order online with a gift card, press 1. For all other product inquiries, including pressing a new order, please press 2."
After pressing 2, I had to listen to a long message that was obviously designed to get me to go to their website for support instead. However, at the end of the long message, it told me that I could stay on the line to talk to a product expert, which is what I chose to do. Then there was a message about how the company does not support racism or discrimination of any kind. The phone rang one time and Nicole promptly picked up. She was extremely helpful and easy to talk to. After chatting for about five minutes I was confident in making my selection. I'd call back in a heartbeat if I had any future questions.
