The EDD may be able to provide you with a wage transcript for your tax purposes. They can also guide you on the next steps to take. Alternatively, you can file IRS form 4852 (Substitute for W-2) where you estimate your wages and withholdings based on your final pay stub of the year. Nonetheless, it's important to know that the EDD may levy fines and penalties against employers who do not comply with the provision of W-2 forms to their employees.
