How do I install plugins on my WordPress site?

Asked 5 months ago
To install plugins on a WordPress site, one must first have administrative access to the WordPress dashboard. Once logged in, the user should navigate to the "Plugins" section found in the left-hand sidebar of the dashboard. From there, clicking on the "Add New" button will present the user with an extensive array of available plugins. At this stage, one can either browse through the featured, popular, or recommended plugins, or use the search bar to find a specific plugin by name or functionality. Upon discovering the desired plugin, the user needs to click on the "Install Now" button associated with that plugin. After the installation process is complete, which usually takes just a few moments, the button will change to say "Activate." Clicking on "Activate" will enable the plugin on the site. In addition, if one possesses a plugin downloaded from an external source, the user can click on the "Upload Plugin" button at the top of the "Add Plugins" page. From there, the user must select the zip file of the plugin and click "Install Now." After the upload is complete, the user should activate the plugin to make it functional. It is also beneficial to refer to the current web page for additional detailed instructions and any changes in the process that may arise over time.
