Disney Gift Card Terms
First, a quick review of the company's policies. Gift cards are available in plastic and eGift cards and don't expire nor have fees. You will need to activate the gift card. A review of the return policy states that refunds are issued to the original payment method and it will depend on where the card was purchased, so refunds issued to an existing gift card aren't available at this time. However, if you received merchandise with a gift receipt, you'll receive merchandise credit to use in store or online.

Additional Terms and Conditions
Please note that Disney gift cards can't be redeemed for Disney+ memberships nor Disney on Ice tickets. The cards are reloadable but only in the store of purchase and online reloads are not available. You can purchase them in amounts from $25 up to $500. When you're ready to check the balance, you can simply enter the card details online or by phone. You can also create a free account on the official gift card site to manage up to six gift cards online. This'll allow you to check the balance, view transactions and even transfer balances between eligible cards. So although you won't be able to receive a refund directly to a gift card, you can still make better use of the cards in your possession.
