If you have an account at US Bank, you can easily set up automatic bill payments so you never have to worry about this problem again. Just follow one of the procedures below.

How to Set Up Automatic Bill Payment from Your US Bank Account Using Your Computer

To set a bill up for automatic payment, with the funds deducted from your US Bank account, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the US Bank online banking web page.
  2. Log into your account.
  3. Click on the Bill Payments tab in the navigation bar.
  4. Click on the Pay Bills & US Bank Accounts button.
  5. Find your payee in the list of payees. If you do not find It there, select the Add Bill option and follow the prompts to add a new payee. You will need your account number with that payee and the payee's ZIP code.
  6. Click on Autopay Setup Now.
  7. Enter the amount to pay.
  8. Select a frequency for the payments.
  9. Select a start date for the payments.
  10. Choose which US Bank account you want to use to pay the bill.
  11. Review the payment information.
  12. Click on the Start Autopay button.
