How Do I Get a Replacement Card for My Sears Credit Card?

Sears customers who need a replacement credit card for any reason can easily get a new one by following a few simple steps. Report your card as lost/stolen via your online account or by phone and receive a replacement card within ten days.

Step 1: Contact Customer Service

If your Sears card has been lost, stolen or damaged, reach out to Sears customer service online or via phone to request a new card. Use your online account to contact customer service and request your new card, or call the Sears customer service number to report your card lost/stolen and request a new one. Once prompted, enter your account number or social security number and select the menu option that allows you to report your card lost or stolen, either online or by phone.

Step 2: Make a Payment or Schedule Future Payments

Make a payment or schedule future payments before reporting your card as lost or stolen. You will not be able to make any more payments until you receive your new card, once your card is reported as lost/stolen. This will help you avoid potential late fees.

Step 3: Review Any Unrecognized Charges

Once you report your card as lost or stolen, you're prompted to identify or verify any purchases/charges that weren't created/made by you. This step is required before you receive your new card so that you're not responsible for any charges you didn't make.

Step 4: Wait Seven to10 Days to Receive a New Card

You will receive your new/replacement Sears card in seven to 10 days. However, if you don't receive your card within this timeframe, contact customer service. Use the secure messaging option through your online account to notify customer service via email.

Step 5: Activate the New Card Online or via Phone

Once you receive your new Sears card, you will need to activate it online or by phone. Your new Sears card will have a new 16-digit number, a new expiration date, and a new three-digit CVC. Any recurring charges will need to be updated using your new Sears card information.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Sears Credit Card Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
