What should I do if I smell gas?

Asked a year ago
If you smell gas, you should immediately leave the area and go to a safe location. Do not turn on or off any lights, appliances, or any other electrical devices, as this could cause a spark. Do not use your phone or any electronic device while in the area as it could cause a spark as well. Once you are in a safe location, call the emergency gas leak line to report the smell. It is important to prioritize your safety and the safety of those around you in the event of a gas leak.
