Minecraft is the highest grossing video game of all time and is played by millions of gamers across the globe. The action packed game has versions for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and mobile.

Due to the nature of Minecraft, in-game problems are bound to arise from time to time. Therefore, if you run into problems while playing the game, chances are that other gamers have already encountered the same or similar problems with the game.

More often than not, in-game issues with Minecraft are as a result of bugs in the software. Since such bugs are common, Mojang, Minecraft's publisher, has a feature specifically for dealing with bugs encountered in-game.

In order to report bugs and other in-game issues with Minecraft, you will have to create an account at Mojang's bug tracker. You can find the link to the page on Mojang's website.

It is paramount to note that the Mojang/Minecraft bug tracker account is not the same as the Minecraft/Mojang account. If you have never reported a bug to Mojang before, you will have to open an account on the website.

Creating an account on the site is easy and only takes several minutes. Ensure you get the verification link in your email to verify your account.

If you have submitted a bug report to Mojang before and do have an account on the Mojang bug tracker website, all you have to do is input the necessary details and log in to your account.

Once you are signed into the account, the process of submitting a report about an in-game issue i.e. a bug to Mojang is as follows:

  1. Click 'Create' at the top of the screen to initiate the creation of a new bug report
  2. In the 'Project Section' select the version of the Minecraft with which you are having the in-game problem
  3. Select the in-game issue with which you are having problems. In this case, you will select 'Bug'
  4. In the 'Summary' section give a concise yet vivid description of the in-game problem that you are facing
  5. In the 'Security Level' section you should select 'none' unless the contrary is true
  6. In the 'Affects Version(s) of the game, choose the version of the game with which you are having problems. The correct version can be found on the game's main menu
  7. Scroll to the 'Environment' section and submit information about the device you are using to play the game which may include the operating system, the make and model of your PC
  8. The 'Description' section is very important. It is where you will type a detailed description of the in-game problem you are having. You will also include clear reasons why you think the problem is s a result of a bug. As much information about the problem is advised and this may include how you came to face the problem.
  9. In the 'Attachment' section, include a image or video that helps you to better present your predicament
  10. Review the form after you have finished filling it and ensure all the details are in order
  11. Click 'Create' after you are satisfied to submit the form to the Minecraft team. You can see the progress of your submission by clicking on your profile. Active bugs can be found under 'Activity Stream' where you can review them individually.

If the above process of reporting an in-game problem with Minecraft does not work, you can contact Mojang support directly and ask for help. The best avenue to use to get help from Mojang is their online help desk. You can retrieve the link to the help desk from GetHuman.
