How Do I Track My Deutsche Post Package?

Deutsche Post, also called Deutsche Post DHL Group, is one of the world's largest multinational package delivery services. Headquartered in Bonn, Germany, the company competes with UPS and FedEx in the courier industry. Regardless of the company you use, being able to track your packages is part of the service offered by these companies. This guide will show you how to track your Deutsche Post packages.

Tracking Basics

You'll receive a tracking number when you ship anything, whether it's an important letter or package. Deutsche Post also refers to this number as a shipment number. Also, there are private customers and business customers, and the process to track any respective packages may differ.

Tracking Your Package Online

If you'd rather track your shipment online, you can visit the company's website. You'll need to navigate down to the gray section beneath Find Out About Our Most Common Products, and Item Tracking is the fourth option in the gray area.

You can click on either link listed there; they'll take to the same tracking page for private customers. Enter your shipment number and click on the search button. You'll also have the options of signing up for delivery notifications under the Delivery Services tab and receive them in real time.

If you have any problems, please reach out to Deutsche Post customer service agents here.

Business Customers

If you're a business customer, you'll be routed to DHL Germany for your needs. One of the greatest services provided to business customers is the access to valuable software and other tools to make your business run more smoothly. The Post and DHL Customer Business Portal is where all current business customers track their shipments.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Deutsche Post AG Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
