How to Cancel Your Old Card and Request a New One

It's easy to get your lost or stolen Citibank card cancelled and a new one sent to you. Just follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Citibank's home page. (Citibank is the banking arm of the Citibank corporation.)
  2. Log in to your Citibank account.
  3. Click on the Request a Replacement Card link located in the sidebar.
  4. Enter the details of your lost or stolen card using the drop down menus.
  5. Click on the Submit Request button.
  6. Double check the card details that you provided.
  7. Click on the Confirm button.

Your old card is now cancelled, and a new one has been sent to you. However, there's one more thing you still need to do, per Citibank's request.

Reporting the Lost or Stolen Card

If your old card was stolen or lost, you should call Citibank directly to report the card stolen, using the CitiPhone line: call 0808 109 8888 in the UK or +44 (0) 20 7500 1445 outside the UK to make the report.

You may be sent a password via text message as part of this process.

If you have any questions about this process, or have not received your new card, then you should contact Citibank's customer support services. You can reach them by phone, help desk, chat, and email.
