Emails from Cash App will always come from either @square.com, @squareup.com, or @cash.app. If you receive an email purportedly from Cash App that is not from one of these addresses, it is probably a phishing attempt. Do not click on any links in it or reply to it. Instead, contact Cash App to report the incident.Emails from Cash App will only contain links to pages at square.com, squareup.com, cash.app or cash.me. Even if the email you received seems to be from a valid address, if it contains links to anything outside of these sites, it is a fake email and likely phishing attempt. Do not click on the links or reply to the email, and contact Cash App to report it.Cash App will never ask for your social security number, your PIN, your sign in code, or your individual taxpayer identification number via email. It will also never ask you to buy something, send a payment, make a test transaction, or download a remote access app. If you receive any such requests, it is a phishing scam and should be reported to the company.For increased security, make sure the mobile device you use to access Cash App is secured with a password.
