Connecting a landline to the Ademco alarm system is usually a straightforward process. First, you need to locate the unit's main panel, which is typically in a closet or basement. The phone line to the security system should be run first, and then out to the rest of the house. Plug one end of the phone cord into the main control panel's "line in" slot and the other end into the phone jack. Always ensure the connections are secure. To check the connection, you can make a test call. Please note, steps may vary depending on the specific model.
