I purchased a Louis Vuitton wallet, only to discover it was a counterfeit. It was confirmed as fake by an authenticator using ENTROPY, and subsequently seized by the police. Despite my attempts to retrieve it, I was informed by the Police Department that it would be destroyed. The seller has accused me of not returning the item and reported me to eBay. It's disheartening to encounter sellers peddling counterfeit goods on eBay. I have unfortunately bought six Louis Vuitton items that turned out to be replicas, all of which were confiscated by authenticators and handed over to the police for destruction. While uncertain if this specific item has been destroyed yet, I find it unjust to be treated like a criminal when I have done nothing wrong and have made genuine efforts to return the item.

I submitted numerous messages to PayPal customer support detailing the issue with transaction 54L72161TN326264K. To start, I found an advertised original Armani watch on eBay for my father. After ordering and receiving the watch, we discovered it was a cheap replica. Despite contacting the seller, they refused to help. I opened cases on eBay and PayPal, but due to time differences, PayPal closed the eBay case automatically without resolution. I struggled with PayPal's complaint system and inadvertently closed one case while trying to open another. The seller offered a refund in exchange for changing my negative feedback, which I did, but I never received the refund. Ultimately, PayPal resolved the case in my favor, but I was asked to return the watch, which I had already disposed of due to frustration. I suggested to PayPal that the funds be taken from the seller and donated to charity, but they did not respond. Despite my efforts, the seller continues to deceive buyers. I have reported the seller to the UK police, hoping for justice. The YouTube videos I found showed that my replica watch shares similarities with other fake Armani watches. Thank you, regards from Croatia, EU.

Good morning, I am encountering a problem with a seller regarding the purchase of a Rolex watch. I completed the payment for the item on June 5th; however, despite the seller having received my payment, I have not received any shipment details. Despite numerous requests, I have not been provided with a tracking number as promised. My payment was processed instantly by my bank. The seller claims to ship within one business day but has not done so yet. I am worried about not receiving my order or getting a counterfeit watch. Upon researching, I discovered other buyers facing similar issues with this seller possibly sending different items than advertised. I am reaching out for guidance on how to proceed with this matter. Your assistance in resolving this would be highly appreciated. I am an individual buyer, not a reseller, purchasing this watch along with 2 others as anniversary gifts for my wife, making this a significant financial commitment for me. Thank you for your help.

I purchased item [redacted]56 from Israel on March 8, [redacted]. The seller continuously delayed the shipment without providing any proof of sending it. I recently found out that eBay only allows buyers 90 days to leave feedback or open a case in the resolution center. I suspect foul play! How can I report this situation when the seller claims the package is on its way but keeps stalling for over 90 days? This loophole allows the seller to avoid negative feedback and still keep my money. It's unjust! If previous buyers who faced similar delays had the chance to leave feedback, I could have been warned. I am greatly disappointed by this policy regarding potential scams like this.

To whom it may concern, I initially reported an online fraud incident with no progress, so I am reaching out via email to reiterate my situation. On June 2, [redacted], I sold a 64GB Silver iPhone 6Plus on eBay to a user named bigkel18072 for [redacted].25 GBP. Subsequently, he requested my PayPal information for payment and more pictures via email at [redacted], promising payment the next day, in time for his son's birthday. On June 4, [redacted], at 08:54, I received an email from [redacted] confirming a payment of [redacted].00 GBP, but I needed to provide the shipping reference number for the funds to clear. I then shipped the item to Nigeria, including the reference number RU[redacted]86GB. The next morning, eBay informed me of the item's value dispute, requiring an additional [redacted] GBP for account clearance. Although the user assured me he would provide the additional funds, eBay canceled the order due to an unauthorized account user. Despite sending the extra payment, doubts arose, and contacting PayPal revealed no such transactions occurred. I request a resolution promptly as I urgently need the funds from this sale. Best regards, Charles N.

A customer initiated a return request asserting a mattress was shorter than advertised. After a similar claim on Amazon for the same product was resolved with a refund, he opened a claim on Ebay. When asked for more evidence of the alleged defect, the customer responded aggressively, threatening negative feedback. Ebay was informed of his behavior and indicated they would not approve the return. Despite being advised of escalating the matter, subsequent contact with Ebay suggested otherwise. Ebay now mandates either paying for return shipping or issuing a full refund to the customer. An email from the customer mentioned accepting £25 as a settlement. What steps should be taken at this point, seeking guidance on how to proceed.

I am looking to re-list an item that a customer previously tried to purchase. He offered $70, thinking it included shipping, but eBay required payment for shipping. After discussing the issue and his desire for the item at $70 total, I offered to cancel the order. Upon researching the product further, I discovered I could price the item higher. I attempted to list it again, with the updated price, but encountered an error message stating potential policy violations in the title or description. Before proceeding, I need guidance on resolving this issue to comply with eBay policies. Thank you, Drew.

A buyer purchased a Factory Sealed Collectors item doll from me, tore the package, removed some contents, and alleged it arrived that way! The buyer returned the damaged doll without opening a return case, seemingly trying to deceive me! Despite my impeccable eBay rating and flawless transactions with other customers, eBay favored the dishonest buyer. I lost [redacted] euros due to eBay's alleged protection of scammers. I even visited the local police to report the incident, but it appears eBay's decision stands.

Hello, I had a buyer who purchased an item but did not make the payment. I reached out to them more than three days later, and they informed me that they are unable to pay and requested to cancel the order. I later canceled the order, selecting the reason "buyer wanted to cancel the order," but I was still charged the final value fee. I assumed that I would receive a credit for it since the buyer did not make the payment, but unfortunately, I did not. I am quite disappointed by this outcome. I am hoping to find out if there is a way to obtain a credit for the final value fee. My username is lyubkot-0.

Hello, I am reaching out because I recently bought the James Bond [redacted]: Agent Under Fire Platinum Sony PS2 game from a seller named Tykas. It has been a few months since I made the purchase, but unfortunately, I have not yet received the item. I am more than willing to provide any necessary proof, including screenshots, in further communication. While initially the seller Tykas was responsive and provided satisfactory answers to my inquiries, I am now encountering difficulties. Whenever I try to contact them, I receive the message: "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing." At this point, I believe I may have fallen victim to a scam and would like to request a full refund for my purchase.

I contacted regarding e-Bay's policy on buying items after the listing expiration. The representative I spoke with had a heavy accent, possibly Pakistani. Despite my requests to speak slower, he continued quickly due to a poor connection which eventually led to just a soft "buzz" sound. The rep seemed to mistake my inquiry for a complaint against the seller and repeatedly asked for personal details like my name, address, phone number, area code, item number, email, and purchase history. He also requested similar details about the seller. I tried to explain that I only wanted to understand eBay's policy and was willing to pay a commission if needed.

I have a question regarding the $34 fee you charged me for an image not sold to the buyer. Please rectify this error promptly and refund the amount as the image was not sent by me nor paid for by the buyer. The purchase didn't happen, and the sale is suspended. This relates to the Vivian Leigh picture priced at $[redacted] from May 5, [redacted], with item number [redacted]88 on eBay. To verify, please contact the buyer, sanjova14. Kindly resolve this matter swiftly and return my money. Thank you. Best regards, D. Jeremic

I spoke with an eBay representative this morning regarding a buyer ('chinauctions') who won 9 items in my recent auction that ended yesterday but has not paid. eBay's fraud division is investigating this unusual situation. They assured me they would email me their findings, as 'chinauctions' is bidding on 11 more of my items soon. Thank you, John R Fralich.

I am disappointed with a recent purchase of a heavy-duty boat cover from eBay. Despite being promised a UV-treated cover, it deteriorated after only 2 1/2 months. The seller was unhelpful and wanted more money for a replacement, despite advertising a 12-month warranty. eBay and PayPal have sided with the seller, which is frustrating considering the advertised warranty was not honored. I am considering closing my eBay account due to this experience. I feel let down and believe I would have had better luck buying a tarp from Bunnings, where warranties are upheld. Can anyone advise me on permanently closing my eBay account? Thank you, Matt.

Hello, I would like to purchase some goods and inquired about the shipping price with the seller. They responded, but now I need to modify my order by removing some items from my cart before making a payment. I am experiencing difficulty in doing this. Additionally, I contacted another seller to inquire about the total price, and they mentioned I should press "send invoice." However, when I do that on eBay, it gives me an error message stating that there are issues such as the buyer already paid for the invoice (which I have not) or the item is no longer available for checkout. I would like to receive the best offer between the two sellers and then select the lower price to adjust my order by removing items from my cart. I appreciate your assistance and understanding, thank you.

I am seeking a refund of $15.82 from eBay, which was deducted twice from my PayPal account and bank. Despite never selling my Lilly Pulitzer bag, I was charged fees. The buyer's return reasoning was false, and I shouldn't have covered the return shipping. Initially, I paid $7.10 for shipping, expecting a refund that never arrived due to eBay subtracting $2.82 from the buyer's payment without reason. When asked to refund $80 to the buyer, I complied. Facing double deductions of $15.82, I halted one payment to my bank, yet received a non-payment notification from eBay. I always followed eBay's instructions with honesty, while their actions were unfair like the buyer's, leaving me owed a refund.

I bought Advantage II from Dana Welch and received a package with 3 medium and 3 extra-large tubes, not the correct Advantage II 6 extra-large dog tubes. Upon ebay's advice, I returned the package for a refund, but it was sent back to me by USPS due to no mailbox at the address, labeled as a non-existent number. The tracking number is 9[redacted] 4[redacted] [redacted] 99. I incurred an additional $3.50 cost for this return. I feel this situation constitutes fraud. The post office in Ruston, La., confirmed the lack of a mailbox at the address, with only a trailer present. I request a refund for this fraudulent occurrence.

While on vacation, I set up an out-of-office reply and added a note on my seller page explaining my absence. Despite these precautions, I received an order. To prevent negative repercussions on eBay, I arranged for someone to mail the package using USPS Priority Mail. However, the person sent it via a UPS Store, not the post office, and did not provide a USPS tracking number. As a result, I am unable to update the item's shipping status on eBay. I possess images of the package, the label, and the UPS Store receipt but can't mark the item as shipped in eBay's system. This situation leaves me vulnerable to penalties from eBay for delayed shipping and potential negative feedback from the buyer. Unfortunately, being in Japan, I am unable to reach eBay's customer service by phone. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I listed an iPhone 7 for sale on eBay on June 12th with item number [redacted]39. A buyer named wot3263-loehzuoawo offered me £[redacted] via PayPal, so I agreed. Despite exchanging messages through eBay and emails, I have not received the payment after sending the item as requested. The buyer claimed the money was sent but it never appeared in my PayPal account. I have fallen victim to fraud and have reported the incident to the police cyber crime department with reference number NFRC[redacted]52 and Password Hq2t5J4E. I used special delivery with tracking number JS[redacted]52GB, which shows that the item was delivered and signed for. The situation has left me very distressed as I realized the confirmation emails about the payment were fake, not from PayPal. I am considering reporting the fraud to prevent further crimes by this individual. This experience has made me wary of using eBay for selling in the future, and I hope for some assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, I received two orders that do not match the photos shown by the sellers. Despite requesting a free return, they have failed to provide me with the necessary return labels. I contacted eBay's customer service two days ago and asked them to ensure that the sellers send me the appropriate return labels by today. I emphasized the urgency of the situation, explaining that I am leaving for holiday on Thursday morning, and if I can't return the items before I depart, it will exceed the return window. If this occurs, it will be the responsibility of eBay and the sellers, as I have repeatedly requested the free return labels. Unfortunately, the only response I received was a return address without the free return option. I am extremely frustrated by this situation and kindly request a prompt resolution. My primary goal is to receive a refund for these items. Thank you.
