I received an email yesterday stating that I bought a 2 x 5 [redacted] Off-Road light set on 07 August [redacted]. However, I did not order this item as I have no use for it. I do not own an off-road vehicle, nor do I know anyone who does. Despite this, it is mentioned that the item is out for shipment. I'm on a limited income and cannot afford the $49.99 charge for something I did not purchase. The payment was taken from my card, which you have on file. I believe this is a scam and I request a refund for the unauthorized payment. Please remove my card information from your records. In the future, I will input my card details manually when I make a purchase. Thank you for your assistance. - R.L. Kerns

I recently made a purchase and unfortunately, someone accessed my credit card information and used it fraudulently. I suspect the seller may have also been hacked, as I received separate emails impersonating the seller. Despite eBay claiming the seller has been paid, it seems the payment may have gone to the identity thief instead. The actual seller has not shipped the item and is unresponsive about the shipping status. I received a suspicious email from someone using the address [redacted] claiming payment. This could be the person who received the payment, not the legitimate seller. Please verify this email address with the seller to ensure it is not associated with them. I have tried reaching out for assistance but the severity of the situation has not been acknowledged. My bank account has been compromised, so it's crucial to inform the seller about the identity theft issue.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Overstock Email Communication Regarding Classic Accessories 32-[redacted]01-00 Bighorn Float Tube Hello, I recently purchased the Classic Accessories 32-[redacted]01-00 Bighorn Float Tube for $[redacted].81 through PayPal on Aug 03, [redacted], at 17:49 PDT. Following the purchase, I encountered an issue with a 10% discount not applying as advertised on Overstock. Despite reaching out to Overstock directly, I was advised to contact eBay Customer Support regarding the promotion. Please find the message I received from Overstock regarding this matter: "I am so sorry to hear that the discount was not working for the Classic Accessories 32-[redacted]01-00 Bighorn Float Tube. In the future if something is not working please reach out to eBay Customer Support due to it was their promotion they were offering it not Overstock." Sorry for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Crystal H. I am seeking assistance in responding to the email chain between myself and Overstock concerning this issue. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I noticed a discrepancy in the shipping cost displayed on my listing. Initially, when I was creating the listing and providing the package dimensions and weight, the estimated shipping costs were around $20 to $56 depending on the buyer's location. However, now that the item is posted, the shipping cost is showing as $11.90, which seems unusually low. Comparable listings have shown shipping costs averaging around $30, so the $11.90 cost appears to be a flat rate that may not accurately reflect the actual shipping expenses. I have previously shipped similar sized items and incurred higher shipping costs than $11.90. I selected the buyer pays shipping option, and I want to ensure there are no unexpected fees for the buyer. I hope to resolve this issue promptly to avoid any complications with the listing. Your assistance in addressing this discrepancy would be greatly appreciated, as I believe the displayed shipping cost does not align with the actual shipping expenses.

Hello, I recently purchased an item that did not match the listing description. After attempting to contact the seller without success, I opened a case and returned the item using the label provided by eBay. Unfortunately, I received a notification stating that the package could not be delivered due to an issue with the address, which I discovered to be a gas station when checking on Google Maps. eBay is withholding my refund until the package is delivered. I am unsure of what steps to take next as eBay does not provide an option to report this issue. Case ID: [redacted] Seller ID: marywilliams5 My ID: alfaus.cqipg Thank you.

I frequently purchase items on eBay, and I'm encountering an issue with eBay regarding conflicting messages. The seller I'm in contact with is goldenegg225, regarding a [redacted] large cent. I promptly responded to the "Action needed" notification from eBay, but simultaneously received an "Unpaid case" message stating that an unpaid case was opened on my account. This recurring situation doesn't allow me time to address the initial notification before an unpaid case is opened, affecting my ability to bid on future items. I kindly request the removal of the unpaid strike from my eBay buyer account to avoid future disruptions. Regards, Jeff A. Lowrance USMC Ret. Semper Fidelis! God Bless America! "IN GOD WE TRUST"

In early August, I made a purchase from clayje90 on eBay for Bose QC35 II QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Headphones in black. The price was AU $[redacted].00. However, I encountered an issue during payment as the seller does not deliver to PO boxes. Living in a rural area without postal delivery, I reached out to the seller to discuss shipping to my PO Box, but received no response after multiple attempts. I now wish to cancel the order, but I am unable to do so on the website due to being committed to pay. I need guidance on how to proceed with canceling this order. Thank you. - Marian G.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding the non-receipt of my package. The sale took place on July 31, with an estimated delivery date of Monday, August 06. I purchased the item from seller jordanmullen3. Despite attempting to contact them through eBay and email, I have not received a response. I am uncertain about the status of my order. Is the product already shipped, given that the payment via PayPal has been approved? When searching for the product by name and number, I am unable to locate it, as it appears to be either invalid or no longer available. Furthermore, the discrepancy between the product number and image is perplexing. I urgently need to know if the item has been dispatched and if not, could I please request a refund, as it is a time-sensitive gift. Additionally, I received an email notifying me that my eBay account has been blocked or suspended. This is puzzling to me, as this is my first experience with eBay, and I am unsure of what transpired or what steps to take next. I look forward to your prompt assistance. Best regards, R.W.

Hello! I purchased a laptop from an auction and upon receiving it, I discovered that the item did not match the description provided. While it was mentioned that the laptop had minor scratches and a mark on the screen, I also found a non-functioning microphone and a faulty "p" key on the keyboard. After taking it to a service center, they identified additional issues due to careless disassembly by the previous user, water damage, and refurbishment by the seller. The service center quoted a repair cost of approximately 50€ for the initial issues and an additional [redacted]€ for the new ones. I am seeking a refund from the seller due to the undisclosed information that significantly affected the value of the laptop. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Vladimir.

On July 13th, I purchased a Samsung Tablet from the seller with the username taymed34 and the Item ID: [redacted]49 for $82.01 through PayPal. Unfortunately, despite my payment, the tablet was never shipped to me. I attempted to contact the seller multiple times, but I did not receive any responses. Consequently, I had to cancel the payment and obtain a refund. The eBay app continues to prompt me to pay for this item whenever I make a purchase. I kindly request that the item be removed from my list of won items due to the seller's lack of communication. Thank you.

Subject: Dispute on Case #[redacted] Dear eBay Support, I am writing to address the recent decision made on Case #[redacted]. I sold an Apple TV 4K to user "stream4less" on July 25, [redacted], believing it to be a brand new item. However, upon receipt, I discovered that I was sent a used unit instead. This is unacceptable. I acquired the Apple TV 4K as a sign-up bonus from DirecTV Now, a service I had recently subscribed to. Not being an Apple user myself, I promptly listed it for sale on eBay and it was sold within minutes. I shipped the item in its original box, previously unopened, directly from DirecTV's packaging. PayPal's attempt to charge me for a refund due to the buyer's claim is unjust. I refuse to support fraudulent activities and intend to rectify this situation promptly. I request your immediate intervention in this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I am prepared to provide any necessary documentation upon request. Sincerely, Robert A. Nimz

My account has been suspended, most likely due to my debit card expiring. I am not a frequent online shopper and didn't realize it was expired. I updated my PayPal with the new card details, but still can't access my account. I have always had a [redacted]% positive feedback and never encountered any issues with purchases. I believe this is a misunderstanding. Despite trying to contact Customer Service, I couldn't reach anyone for help. I am careful with my purchases and if I missed an email from eBay about the card update, it was unintentional. Please, I would appreciate it if my account could be reinstated. Thank you.

A few months ago, I decided to run a promotional campaign on eBay, adding a 1% ad rate above the trending average to my listings. I understood that eBay only charges this rate if a purchase is made from the ads displayed. However, upon reviewing my eBay invoice, I noticed that every sale in recent months has been charged this ad rate, resulting in significant costs. According to eBay's seller center, the charge should apply when shoppers click on ads and make a purchase. I find it hard to believe that each sale can be attributed to these ads, as my overall sales have not seen a significant increase since starting the campaign. I am unsure if eBay is charging for a service without actual benefit or treating the ad rate as a standard selling fee. These ads are supposed to drive external traffic to my listings, potentially increasing sales, which I have not observed. I question why I am paying for a service that doesn't appear to enhance sales and why it is applied to almost every sale, considering that not all are likely a result of these ads.

I've encountered an issue with a buyer attempting to return an item that I shipped. I accurately described the item in the listing and provided photos, but the buyer claims it's not authentic, which I know it is. He's persistently demanding a refund, despite my clearly stated no returns policy in the item description. He seems insistent on keeping both the money and the item, and I suspect he won't actually return it. I'm distressed by his behavior and frustrated that this transaction isn't going smoothly. I simply wanted to provide a positive experience by selling things I no longer need. Can someone please assist me in resolving this situation and ensure that I am not harassed further?

Hello. I have a question regarding the selling process. I recently sold my first product in the UK using my eBay account. The buyer has sent the payment, but eBay has put the payment on hold. I would like to understand the process for this situation. The buyer mentioned that I need to ship the product first and provide the tracking number to eBay so they can verify the delivery before releasing the funds to my account. Can you please confirm if this is correct? If I send the product first, will eBay then lift the hold and transfer the money to my account? The sale was for £[redacted].00, item #: [redacted]56, sold on 10/08/[redacted]. I would appreciate it if you could review this information and advise me on what steps to take. I'm awaiting your response. Thank you.

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I recently placed a bid on a wristwatch on the eBay app without fully reading the description. Upon realizing that the watch is too small for me, I promptly contacted the seller to request a bid cancellation. The seller responded with a brief message acknowledging my request. To my surprise, when I logged into eBay on my computer today, I noticed the wristwatch is still in my basket, preventing me from continuing my shopping. I reached out to the seller again and am currently awaiting a response. It's frustrating to be unable to proceed with my purchases due to this issue. I believe it's important to address this matter promptly as I made the cancellation request well before the auction ended, citing a valid reason. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Pan V.

I placed an order for size 9.5 black Martin Oxford boots on eBay, but they notified me that the boots were out of stock. When a customer representative contacted me about it, their behavior was extremely rude. I expressed my desire to switch the payment to a pair of size 9.5 ammo boots instead. I asked for a new pair of ammo boots and requested to speak with a supervisor, but the representative refused to connect me. He even promised to call me back but never did. All I am asking for is a new pair of size 9.5 black ammo boots once they are available in stock.

I bought two of this item, but it was not what was described and just attracted birds instead of scaring them. The seller agreed to a refund, so I returned the items to their warehouse, where they were signed for. However, now the seller is refusing to refund me. They even asked for a photo of the item, even though they received them back. I opened a case on eBay immediately, and it was just closed with no further action available. I have all the emails saved, including the one where they agreed to refund me, and proof of the items being delivered back to the warehouse. It seems unfair that the seller has the payment and the returned items, and eBay is not helping in resolving this issue.

I recently sold a brand new Sony Baby Monitor to a buyer on eBay. The buyer, with the ID bgi-xju-dfjeqvqlfw, left negative feedback claiming the monitor only held a charge for two minutes. Despite offering a full refund, the buyer refused to remove the feedback. I have consistently received positive feedback on eBay since [redacted] and always strive to assist buyers. I believe the issue may have been caused by using the monitor overseas without a proper converter. I am disappointed by eBay's handling of the situation and feel unsupported as a seller. I am seeking assistance to have the negative feedback removed. Thank you for any guidance in this matter.

Dear Concerned Party, I am bswan24, also known as Brock Swanson. I have been a satisfied eBay customer for many years without any issues until recently. Yesterday, I bought a Samsonite Pivot 3-piece luggage set for $40.00 USD from the seller kitjohnsondesigns, item number [redacted]56. Although eBay mentioned that the purchase I made may be from a compromised account and canceled the transaction, I had already paid via Paypal, and the payment cleared to a person named "Zhou Zigang." The item was supposed to be covered by eBay's money-back guarantee, which unfortunately won't apply since I won't be receiving the item. I kindly request your prompt assistance in issuing a refund. I value your customer service and look forward to continuing as a pleased eBay customer. Thank you, bswan24 Brock Swanson
