Someone accessed my account on eBay and fraudulently listed nonexistent photography equipment for sale. No funds were received, but eBay suspended my account. Although I rarely use it, I recently tried to make a purchase and found my account is still suspended due to this unresolved issue. I would appreciate guidance on how to address this so I can resume using eBay. Thank you. Sincerely, David C. (username: 4806m)

I purchased AirPods on eBay from a website claiming to sell genuine Apple AirPods for approximately £[redacted]. The AirPods arrived promptly but turned out to be fake as they lacked the serial number in the charging case. I initiated a return, which the seller accepted. I sent back the item via Royal Mail with next-day tracking. However, upon checking the tracking, I found out that the package was being returned to me due to an incorrect address. Despite informing the seller with the tracking number and proof, they claim I didn't return the item and insist I resend it for a refund. I contacted the post office, confirming the return due to the incorrect address. Despite multiple emails, the seller won't confirm the correct address and eBay won't intervene at the moment. I seek to return the product to the accurate address and receive a refund, including the extra postage. Your help is highly appreciated as I'm stuck in this situation with no progress. Thank you. - SWH

While engrossed in watching videos on my phone, I unexpectedly received an email confirming a purchase I never made. The order was paid with an eBay voucher from my account and is being sent to an outdated address listed on eBay. I promptly contacted the seller to cancel the order, but my request was denied as it was deemed too late for cancellation. I now find myself stuck with an unwanted purchase and voucher expenditure. Adding to the frustration, the seller has been unresponsive to my messages despite my attempts to resolve the issue. I no longer reside in the UK, making this situation even more challenging. How should I navigate this situation to secure a refund for the erroneous purchase and address the uncooperative seller?

I recently returned a faulty Pawfit GPS Pet Tracker & Activity Monitor through eBay. The seller received the item back but has not refunded me yet. I am aware of the option to involve eBay in this matter and have been trying to seek their help since April 4th. Despite following all the instructions provided, I have been unable to find the option to escalate the issue to eBay. This frustrating experience is discouraging, and it is leading me to do the majority of my shopping on Amazon. I have been a loyal eBay customer for some time, but the lack of customer support is disappointing. I am reaching out for eBay to step in and assist me in resolving this return issue promptly.

I would like to close my eBay selling account. I disagree with being reprimanded for an assumed issue that did not occur. I sell the same items on other platforms aside from eBay. Recently, a buyer saw my listing on another website and preferred to make the purchase through that platform. I removed the listing from eBay accordingly. I have been using eBay for many years and understand the rules without needing reminders. If you had inquired before sending the message, I could have clarified the situation, but instead, assumptions were made.

I ordered two sets of towing mirrors from WheelsnbitsLtd in Clogher, Co. Tyrone, N. Ireland on 12 Augher Rd. Unfortunately, they did not fit, so I returned them with proof of postage. However, upon arrival at their address, I was only refunded for one set. Despite requesting photographs of the returned parcel, I only received one picture at an angle where it was impossible to see the entire parcel. Their mention of a possible split done by their sales manager has not been followed up with any action or further communication. I have repeatedly asked for more photos but have received no response. This lack of assistance has left me out of pocket for one set of towing mirrors. I believe this level of customer service is unacceptable and I am seeking resolution. I have kept copies of all email correspondence and can provide them if necessary. Regards, K.Evans, an eBay customer.

My company name, Independent Cleaning Elite, was hacked by a professional hacker. After speaking with someone, my account has been blocked to prevent further access. I've since closed down my compromised email address [redacted] I now have a new email address after resolving the issue that occurred on April 5th. Additionally, my [redacted] account and PayPal were compromised. I've updated my contact information with a new email address and phone number +[redacted]20 for added security. Kindly assist in transferring my eBay account to this new number. Regards, Andy from the Isle of Man.

While listing an item on eBay, I accidentally pressed the 'reserve' button, causing my item to be listed prematurely. I promptly ended the listing and deleted it, but eBay still charged me £19. This was a genuine mistake as the item was not up for sale long enough to be sold. Currently facing financial struggles, I am selling my possessions, making this charge particularly burdensome.

On April 12, I purchased a Windows 10 license and encountered no issues with it. Later, I bought a second license, but faced problems downloading the program and using the key. Despite notifying the seller with the error number and sending a screenshot, I did not receive a helpful solution and requested a refund which went unanswered.
On April 25 at 07:44, I purchased an Office [redacted] license which was supposed to be delivered to my eBay inbox within an hour. Although the license arrived after some time, the download link provided was non-functional. I reached out to the seller without any response. I am now reaching out to eBay as well because I have not received adequate cooperation from them either.
I am contemplating whether to continue using eBay for future purchases.

Recently, over 20 of my items for sale have been automatically listed as GOOD TIL'CANCELLED. Even the last two I added a few days ago didn't display any fees. The items I sell are low-priced, so constantly charging fees doesn't benefit me as suggested. If the fees were transparent upfront, I wouldn't have listed them. This situation doesn't seem fair to me.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with a seller before my recent holiday. I purchased a Canon camera that was advertised to come with a charger, but upon receiving it, I found no charger, only USB cables. After conversing with the seller, he promised to send the charger but instead sent more USB cables that were not compatible. Despite his apologies, he admitted not having the right charger and agreed to a return and refund. However, his attitude towards me changed, becoming hostile and abrupt. I have returned the item as agreed, but still have not received the full refund since he received it. I am kindly requesting your intervention in securing the refund from the seller. I can provide the conversation details if needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Lara R.

Hello, I recently made a purchase from a seller over 2 weeks ago, but the item has not arrived. After reaching out to the seller, they initially asked me to wait for possible delays. When I followed up and requested either a replacement or refund, they claimed there were no replacements available. However, I discovered they have the same item listed for sale. Despite their promise to process a refund, I am skeptical of their honesty due to this inconsistency. I have tried contacting neighbors and even visited the local postal office to check for the item as suggested by the seller, but to no avail. Now I am left with the inconvenience of having to repurchase the DVI to RCA wire elsewhere, which is frustrating given the seller's misleading information about the item's availability.

Dear Customer Service,
I am writing to bring to your attention that my last three refunds have not been processed to my bank account yet. Although the amounts are small, I couldn't locate the live chat option or a phone number for assistance as I had before. I find this situation quite frustrating. If I had delayed a refund, eBay would have penalized me and suspended my selling account.
The previous refunds were for two iPhone 3s and a partial refund for an orgonite plate. The seller reduced the price of the plate after I expressed concerns about its quality, and promised to refund me the difference. Despite changing my feedback, the refund has not been received in almost a week. PayPal's website mentions a waiting time of up to a month. Although I have received confirmation on eBay, the funds have not reflected in my bank account linked to the card I've been using for almost a year.
I urgently need this matter resolved as I am in urgent need of the funds to purchase essential items for my household. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
William P.

I purchased a Rear Left Door Lock Actuator Mechanism (Part #[redacted]22) for my AUDI A3 A6 Allroad A8 from autopartsaupro on October 12, [redacted]. Unfortunately, after installing it, I discovered that the item is faulty. I reached out to them on January 21st to address the issue. On January 25th, they offered to provide a new replacement for GBP20, stating that the new batch will arrive in approximately 5 weeks as their UK warehouse is currently out of stock.
I agreed to this arrangement and was told they would contact me once the new stock arrived. However, after not hearing back, I followed up with them recently. They have now informed me that the new batch has not arrived and asked if I could source the part elsewhere. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you, Keith

I purchased an electrical item on eBay, but it arrived as a US version with a US plug and adapter. Since I didn't need the US item, I requested a return from the seller a day after receiving it. However, the seller denied the return request two days later and closed the case without explanation. Despite my inquiries, they have not provided a response to clarify their decision. The seller now insists that I must have eBay reopen the return for a refund, mentioning that the item can be used with a USB adapter. Nevertheless, I am not interested in keeping the US version and would not have bid on it if I had known. I find it frustrating that eBay's policies prevent me from reopening the case online after it has been closed. The seller has stated they will issue a refund if I am able to reopen the return, which seems like the only option to resolve this issue.

I recently purchased an item and used PayPal for payment, even though the seller specified "Cash on collection only" in the description due to PayPal fees. I offered to cover the additional fee, as I arranged a courier through Shiply for pickup alongside another item from the same area. The seller initially agreed to the arrangement, but later refunded me and stated she no longer felt comfortable with the sale, citing the cash-only policy. I explained our agreement, offered to cover the fees, and communicated openly about the pickup process with the courier. Despite this, the seller now questions the arrangement and asserts her right to decide. I seek advice on how to proceed. Thank you.
Best regards,
Anna

I mistakenly provided my old address when ordering an item. Despite numerous attempts to contact the seller to change the address, I received no response. The courier company claims to have delivered the item to the old address, where I no longer reside. The new address provided to the courier seems to be unrecognized. I feel frustrated as I've lost both the item and my money due to this unfortunate situation. The lack of response from the seller and poor customer service from eBay have exacerbated the problem. I am requesting either the delivery of my order or a refund. The details of the order are as follows:
Delivered on Friday, May 3, [redacted]

Address: Flat 48, Stanton House, [redacted] Rotherhithe Street, London SE16 5DJ

I am appealing against Ebay's decision in case #[redacted] as the buyer. I initially requested to return the damaged accordion for a full refund but was offered only a partial refund of £50 by the seller. After considering a repair and informing the seller, they retracted their offer, disputing the damage shown in photos. Despite my efforts to repair the item myself, I now seek a partial refund or an apology from the seller for their false accusation. I am unable to return the accordion after repairing it. I appreciate your attention to this matter. - Neil White

I've encountered issues with eBay engaging in illegal financial activities before, and unfortunately, it seems to be happening again. I made a purchase for two Tesoro Compadre metal detectors, but only received one small pinpointer resembling a large pen. Despite reporting this multiple times and even discussing it with managers, the seller continues to list the misrepresentation. eBay assured me they would take action, but so far, nothing has been done. Even after speaking with another manager recently, I was told the seller is considered reliable. It appears that as long as someone is profitable for eBay, even through unlawful means, they are tolerated. In addition to receiving the wrong item, I incurred an extra customs charge, further complicating the situation. This misconduct is not acceptable in my country, let alone on eBay. I urge for immediate action to be taken by removing the misleading listing, or I will have no choice but to halt my purchases and share my negative experience online. I have previously reported reputable sellers, resulting in their listings being removed promptly. I have also notified Trading Standards of this matter.

Dear Support,
I placed an order that was delivered to Spar eCP at 1 Barnwell Road, Cambridge Cambridgeshire CB5 8RG, United Kingdom, on May 7, [redacted]. The tracking number is [redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, I am unable to collect the item as I did not receive a collection code. The order details show "Order is being prepared," even though the package is already at the collection point. I would appreciate it if you could generate the collection code so I can collect my order today.
Thank you,
