I made a purchase on March 3rd and received it on March 8th. I placed another order on March 30th, with an expected delivery date of April 7th. When it wasn't delivered on time, I contacted the seller. They keep insisting that the order was delivered on March 8th, which is correct for my first order. I provided the order numbers for both items, but I am not getting any assistance from the seller. I informed them that the issue is with the second order from March 30th, not the one from March 3rd. Thank you. S. Allen

Hello, I've been attempting to make a purchase on eBay for the past two days without success. I attempted to utilize my Nectar points but encountered issues. After speaking with Nectar, I followed the steps they provided, yet I keep encountering the same problem where I am prompted to create a new account. I already have an account with you and I simply want to use my Nectar points. Would it be feasible for you to provide me with a code that I can input to cover the cost of the item I intend to purchase? Thank you. -M. Gill

I purchased an item advertised as vandalized, yet upon receipt, it turned out to be a total loss car. The seller has shut down their eBay and bank accounts, but I possess their address. To potentially recover around £[redacted], I need the seller's description of the car. I have the photo from the ad and the manufacturer's details, but I lack the seller's specific wording. Without this crucial information, I'm unable to proceed. The original item reference number is #[redacted]60.

Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention that item number 05-06[redacted]2 has not been received. The store refused to accept the item, which I was supposed to pick up from them. After contacting the seller, I was informed that the store declined it. I went ahead and paid £3.20 for postage as requested by the seller. Despite sending the item to the store for a second time, it was once again refused. I hold no grudges against the seller as it's not their fault. However, I'm puzzled as to why I didn't receive a notification from eBay informing me that the item was ready for collection, as is customary. I would appreciate it if you could provide some insight into how this situation will be resolved. Thank you in advance.

I am experiencing issues with an eBay purchase. Despite efforts to pay, there have been obstacles due to unanswered postage rate inquiries between the UK and Belgium. My account has been unfairly labeled for non-finalized transactions, causing frustration. Communication attempts via eBay's community pages and emails have been fruitless. The seller and I are in good standing, but eBay's lack of response has halted the transaction. Multiple calls to eBay Belgium have led to long wait times and unfulfilled promises of callbacks. This situation has left me unable to pay for the item while being unjustly marked as a bad buyer. The only advice given is to contact the seller, but we have already been in regular communication with no resolution. The inability to resolve this issue has raised concerns about eBay's practices.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience with a purchase I made on April 10th for a Drone Dji Mavic 2 Pro on eBay. I noticed an issue where it seemed like a case was opened stating that I didn't receive the item, which I did not do. The seller messaged me on WhatsApp asking to close the case, but I was hesitant as I never opened one. My PayPal transaction showed as complete, but there were discrepancies with the delivery status. Additionally, I received a message from eBay for a chat session I never had. I suspect this might be a scam and took precautions by updating my passwords. The purchased item doesn't show in my history, yet PayPal reflects the payment. I'm out of £[redacted] and hope the team can address this promptly so I can consider buying the item elsewhere. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, L.D. Feel free to ask for more details if needed.

I bought a Ducati "belt cover" for my motorcycle from Speedmania Reggio. However, when I tried to fit it, I noticed that the holes are not aligned properly for the spark plugs and spark plug caps, making it impossible to access them without removing the covers. Despite sending photos and videos and being in communication for months, there has been no resolution. They claimed a language barrier issue, but that was not valid as my wife is Italian. I requested a full refund plus my import tax or assistance with modifying the covers but haven't heard back, even after setting a deadline. The total cost was £[redacted] plus £96 for import tax, and I would also incur return shipping costs to Italy. This has been a very frustrating experience with this company. Sincerely, Neil D.

I purchased a keyboard case on eBay for £90, thinking delivery was included. After realizing it wasn't, I contacted the seller to arrange delivery for an additional £23.50. Despite my offer to pay, the seller insisted I arrange delivery myself. As I am unable to do so from another country, I opted to cancel the order. I mistakenly initiated a return instead of requesting a cancellation since I never received the item. When trying to ask for a refund, I found no option as the return was closed. The seller is now unresponsive to my emails. How should I proceed? Thank you.

I need assistance with my eBay account as it is currently linked to my old Italian PayPal account. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the PayPal account due to forgetting the password and being unable to recover it without the Italian telephone number it was connected to. After contacting eBay, they advised me to reach out to PayPal Italy for help, but I have not been able to get in touch with them. I have two pending payments totaling nearly £[redacted] in that PayPal account, and if I cannot confirm them, the funds will be returned to the buyers. eBay customer service recommended emailing the buyers to ask them to cancel the payment and send it again. One buyer mentioned they could not cancel it, and the other has not responded. I am at a loss and feeling frustrated as I risk losing this money with no clear solution in sight.

I am currently locked out of my eBay account with the email [redacted] due to suspicious activity. After resetting the password and providing the necessary confirmation code, I was asked to identify another eBay username associated with my address. I believe it may be linked to my parents' address in Denbighshire. Despite trying to input my mom's username, which is frequently used for that address, it was considered incorrect after three attempts. I have waited the requested 24 hours and tried twice more without success. I had to create a new account with a different email to access chat support, where I was advised to call the UK hotline. Unfortunately, being in Germany, I cannot connect to that number. Additionally, reaching the Irish hotline from Germany is costly, and requesting a callback is not possible without a UK phone number. My main goal is to regain access to my account or find a way to pay for the purchased item.

I purchased welding goggle filter item no. [redacted]13 from a UK seller that turned out to be from China. The item arrived damaged on February 19, [redacted]. I contacted the seller who promised a replacement, which I'm still waiting for. Despite several messages, the replacement hasn't arrived. When I left negative feedback, the seller offered a refund in exchange for deleting it. I haven't retracted the feedback, and I'm still pursuing a refund. The seller suggested checking with neighbors for the replacement item, but it hasn't shown up. I've escalated the issue to Ebay's resolution center, but I'm still struggling to get a refund.

I purchased a microwave on the 14th of January [redacted] from Essential-Appliances. The order number is 02-06[redacted]3, and I paid £83.99 for it. Unfortunately, the microwave was faulty, and when I tried to use it a few weeks later, I noticed that the turntable was not rotating properly, creating a grinding sound and causing the microwave to overheat. This poses a potential fire hazard. Despite the agreement with the seller, they are not providing a refund and advised me to open a case. However, I am unable to raise a claim. I initially requested a replacement, but they are out of stock, so returning it for a refund seems to be the only option. The microwave is still under the 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased a pair of shoes for £16.89 from Wuna14, but unfortunately, they did not fit. Despite being offered a refund without returning the item, I chose to send it back to the address provided by the seller. However, the shoes were returned to me with a note stating 'wrong postcode'. Upon checking the street on the Post Office postcode finder, I discovered that the seller's street was not listed with that postcode. When I reached out to the seller again, they requested a receipt, which I couldn't locate. Though I believed I paid via Paypal, the payment did not reflect in my Paypal account. I confirmed this discrepancy with Paypal over the phone. I find the entire transaction suspicious - why wasn't the item paid for through Paypal as I instructed, and why was the postcode incorrect? I currently have unwanted shoes that do not fit. My health issues delayed this contact. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Seller: billarickydicky Order Number: 23-06[redacted]7 I discovered that the seller is unresponsive and potentially fraudulent. Despite the payment block in place, I was still charged for the purchase. I request a refund as I've paid the amount, and it seems to be withheld by the platform. It's concerning that even after identifying the seller as a con artist, there is no option to cancel the transaction or report them through the app. I urge prompt resolution on this matter.

Hello, I am Tomer Hasid and I began selling on eBay in January [redacted], which was four months ago. I operate through a dropshipping program with fulfillment from Amazon to eBay for items sold only in the USA. On March 15th, I received an MC011 email from eBay. I reached out to eBay support and provided them with proof of the same items I purchased from Amazon, an Excel file detailing all items I have sold since January, and PayPal receipts showing the money I paid for fulfillment to buy the items from Amazon. Unfortunately, I started working with the fulfillment service on March 15th, so I don't have a receipt with my name on it yet. However, eBay support informed me that they were unable to verify the Proof of Merchandise provided. They mentioned that they couldn't disclose the exact reason due to security purposes, but requested a valid document for Proof of Merchandise that meets their guidelines. Kindly understand that they are following eBay policies.

I made a prompt payment for my item on March 16, [redacted]. Despite waiting over two weeks for delivery, nothing has arrived. The seller has proof of postage and delivery but mistakenly addressed it to flat 1 instead of flat 11. I have visited my neighbor at flat 1 twice, confirming he did not receive the package. The seller involved eBay, and my case is on hold until April 25, [redacted]. eBay supposedly sent an email requesting more information and evidence, but I haven't received any such email nor can I reply to eBay. My case number is #[redacted], item number [redacted]13. Any assistance would be appreciated. Best regards, S. Robertson

I purchased refurbished AirPods from a seller a month ago. The items arrived faulty; they did not charge, started random actions, and had touch issues. Despite contacting the seller after a week, they insisted on waiting. Over four weeks, the AirPods did not improve and now do not charge at all. I've tried different charging cables with no success. When I asked for a refund, the seller refused, claiming they were fine when sent and citing pandemic-related return challenges. I pointed out that selling used AirPods during a pandemic suggests they should be sterile. The seller mis-sold me functioning AirPods that turned out to be defective. I am unsure how to proceed with opening a case against the seller.

I purchased an electric planer from a seller in the U.K. I specifically filtered my search to show only items located in the U.K. and offering free postage. Upon arrival, I noticed a statement about checking the earth wire, which raised concerns. When I tested the planer, it did not work properly. The seller informed me later that two parts needed to be connected but the manual did not provide clear instructions. After receiving videos on how to connect the parts, a DIY expert advised me to return the item due to safety concerns and the lack of clarity in the eBay listing. I was informed I need to return the item to China, which is inconvenient and costly. The seller provided a U.K. address but it is not registered with PayPal, making it difficult to proceed. I believe eBay should ensure sellers comply with U.K. standards and accurately represent their locations. I feel disappointed and seek a resolution without bearing the return costs for an item that does not meet my expectations. Kindly address this issue promptly.

I am currently in Greece and facing challenges returning to the UK due to Covid concerns. I successfully placed a bid on an item from a seller named Schrauber 241O in Germany on Ebay. The order number is 19-06[redacted]6, and the item is a Leica MDa camera listed under item number [redacted]37. The purchase includes a total of EUR [redacted], which covers the item cost and postage. The DHL tracking indicated delivery, but when I visited the local DHL office, they stated that they do not deliver to P.O. boxes and returned the item to the seller. The seller requested additional payment for re-shipping, but communication has become difficult as the item listing is now labeled as "invalid" on Ebay. I have tried to resolve this amicably, but suspect fraudulent behavior by the seller. I believe Ebay should investigate this matter promptly. Thank you.

We purchased a vehicle that is not roadworthy. We paid a deposit of £[redacted] via Xoom on 31/03/21, collected the vehicle, paid £[redacted] in cash, and it broke down on the M1 motorway within 10 miles. Despite the seller's assurances of the vehicle being in great working order, it is clearly not. It took five AA lorries to return it to Edinburgh, and the garage owner confirmed its dangerous state, quoting £[redacted] to £[redacted] for repairs. The vehicle has significant corrosion issues that were not disclosed, making it unsafe for the road. The seller has a history of bad reviews, and we feel misled. Despite the seller cancelling the sale with an ID of [redacted], they are avoiding responsibility. We are unable to recover our deposit through Xoom. This situation is concerning and warrants investigation by the appropriate authorities like DVSA and Trading Standards due to possible fraudulent behavior. We have photos documenting the vehicle's condition, revealing discrepancies in the MOT history and the seller's claims.
