Dear Sir,
I am disappointed with your response concerning the laptop I purchased from a seller on your site. Upon receiving the laptop, I found that it had an administrator password that couldn't be removed, making it impossible to reinstall Windows due to the registration issues. Your email stating that I won't receive a refund is concerning. Sending the laptop back to the seller means I am left without a laptop and now being told I won't be refunded. This seems unfair as I paid £[redacted] and ended up with nothing, while the seller has the laptop and my money. I am eagerly awaiting your reply.

Hello, this is the second time in two months that I have been wronged by eBay. Recently, I sold a Tiffany watch to gea.uk2103 in good condition. Shockingly, the buyer claimed that while polishing the glass, the entire watch fell apart. eBay instructed her to return it for a refund, which I was unaware of until they informed me it was on its way back. When I received the watch, it was in pieces and damaged. After consulting with a jeweler, it was confirmed that the watch had been taken apart and poorly reassembled, leading to irreversible damage. Despite the evidence, eBay held me accountable and refunded the buyer without allowing me to defend myself. I urge eBay to review this situation thoroughly to prevent further injustices against sellers like me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, David.

I am in possession of a brand new item clearly marked as non-returnable. Despite this, the buyer is requesting a return as it did not fit. I have pointed out that the item is accurately described in the post and that questions should have been asked beforehand. The eBay case ID is [redacted]. I am puzzled as to why eBay is instructing the buyer to return the item when there are no faults or defects present. The item is simply not suitable, which falls in line with the no returns policy clearly stated in the listing.

I purchased a Xiaomi Mijia Smart Home 6 in 1 kit over a month ago for $64.55. The listing claimed it was new and unopened, yet upon arrival (four weeks later), the package was opened and missing two items. Instead of six, only four items were included. I requested a refund, and after some time, the seller agreed. However, they did not provide a return label, only an address. I had to pay an additional £16 to return the package. It was delivered to them a week ago, but I have not received a refund for the item or the delivery cost. I am unable to find help and support on eBay's website. This experience has been a disappointment, as I feel defrauded by the seller with no resolution in sight. I hope that after two months, someone will assist me in getting my money back. The whole situation has been extremely stressful and disheartening, especially coming from a company of eBay's stature.

Hello, I purchased three sets of RGB light strips from a seller on May 8th. Unfortunately, the first set had issues within a few weeks, and the other two sets malfunctioned. I have been in communication with the seller for over four weeks, with promises of replacements that have not been fulfilled. Despite contacting them over 30 times via eBay Messenger and attempting to call, I have not received satisfactory assistance. After seeing negative reviews online about the company, I believe a refund of $[redacted].89 is appropriate. I am disappointed in the product quality and lack of customer support. Regards, Chad (eBay username: Alfie-[redacted])

Subject: Unauthorized eBay Account Linked to My Email
I recently received emails from eBay addressed to someone named "John" but sent to my email address [redacted] I do not have an account with eBay, and I am worried that someone has used my email to create a fake account. I am unable to access the account or get help directly from eBay since I cannot log in. I kindly request that eBay suspends and deletes the unauthorized account associated with my email. Additionally, I am concerned about the security measures that allowed a fraudulent account to be set up without proper verification. I would appreciate if eBay could address this issue promptly.
Best regards,
Shabir A.

I bought three items on eBay, two for collection. When I went to get one item, I realized the other was also there but without a barcode. The seller only gave me an eight-letter code to collect it, which didn't work at the pickup point. The seller suggested contacting eBay for more help. I need a barcode to retrieve the item or a refund if it's not available anymore. I'm unsure how long the collection point holds items, but the estimated delivery was between December 8th and 10th. If it passed that date, I'd prefer a refund.
Thanks,
Rhiannon B.

I won item number [redacted]29 on eBay by placing 2 bids through the app. Unfortunately, the postage and packaging (p&p) cost was not shown, and I have a screenshot to prove it. After receiving an invoice showing a £40 p&p cost, I contacted the seller for clarification as the amount seemed excessive based on the item's size and weight. Despite several emails, the seller replied rudely claiming the p&p was none of my concern and demanded my postal address. Due to the lack of transparency regarding the p&p cost when I placed my bid, I wish to cancel the order. The seller proceeded to create an unpaid item case, which I would like to dispute. I find the seller's behavior unreasonable, rude, and intimidating, making me uncomfortable proceeding with the purchase. Please assist in closing the unpaid item case, as the p&p cost was not clearly displayed as required.

I have noticed additional fees on my November invoice that I didn't expect. I charged customers for postage, yet I was still charged over $61 AUD for fees on 2 items. This seems inaccurate.

Subject: Ebay November Invoice
Hello,
I am reaching out regarding my November [redacted] invoice.
I see a charge of 33.55 pounds for postage fees, which I find confusing. I added postage costs to my items, and customers paid for it in the total amount. I am not sure why I am being charged a separate fee for postage, as this is new to me. I usually only pay a small fee for selling items.
Please clarify this charge and provide details. I do not agree with it and would like a refund to my PayPal account promptly.
Thank you for your urgent assistance.
Regards,
C. Desat

Good morning,
I recently received a notification stating that a transaction ([redacted]48 - Coloured Alloy Bike Brake Cable Straddle Wire Bridge Hanger Yoke & Cable) was canceled due to unauthorized purchase. The buyer, mitch959t, was flagged for unauthorized activity. Strangely, I had already shipped the item on October 18th, so I'm unsure how to handle this now. I've previously had transactions with this customer earlier this year.
Thanks,
Neil

I sold an item on eBay, but the buyer claims they haven't received it even though the tracking shows it was delivered. The buyer opened an "item not received case" against me, asking for a refund. Despite my efforts in contacting Hermes, the courier, they have not been helpful. The Hermes courier mentioned leaving the parcel in the mailbox, but after checking the delivery address on Google Street View, it seems impossible for the box to fit in the mailbox. I'm feeling stuck in the middle with conflicting information from tracking and the buyer's claim of non-receipt. It doesn't seem fair for me to refund the buyer, but also unfair for them not to receive the £[redacted] item they paid for.

Hello,
I've been trying to reach eBay multiple times about a critical issue that has been very frustrating for me.
The problem is an excessively high invoice sent by eBay. Despite my attempts to address this issue, the invoice includes charges for a basic shop subscription which I did not sign up for this month. What's worse is that they have billed me twice for it. It's incredibly concerning that my concerns are not being taken seriously.
As a small business owner, £70 is a significant amount for me to have deducted from my account each month. I urgently require both shop subscriptions to be removed from the invoice before the funds are withdrawn.
I wasn't aware that promoting my listings required a basic shop, so I didn't make any changes to my account throughout the month.
It's crucial that this matter is resolved before the 30th of December to avoid these unnecessary charges.
Best regards,
Josh from Mase's Goods

I bought a tub of Wilton's Sprinkles for £4.99 from Tradesofas on eBay. Unfortunately, the sprinkles were clumped together. When I contacted Tradesofas about the issue, they suggested breaking up the clumps or returning the item for a refund, but at a cost of £3.05 for postage. I have another tub of sprinkles from a different retailer that is in good condition. The Tradesofas tub appears to be very old stock based on the labeling and is clearly past its sell-by date. I don't think I should have to pay to return an expired item. I believe the seller should refund the full purchase price of £4.99. If they want the item back, they should provide a prepaid return label.

I am reaching out on Christmas Day to address a distressing situation related to my eBay account, which was under the email [redacted] Following a series of offenses and a particularly hurtful letter from eBay, I decided to close my account.
The tone of the letter appeared to harbor a strong prejudice against Italians, making me feel marginalized and unfairly treated. I feel unjustly targeted and restricted from communicating with sellers to resolve issues regarding items I have purchased.
Despite understanding the importance of adhering to company policies, I maintain that I have not violated any rules and do not deserve such treatment. The implications in the letter suggest a bias against Italians, portraying us in a negative light that does not reflect reality.
I am sharing my eBay experience to shed light on my ordeal and seek a review of my case to retrieve my purchased items. I am distressed by the insinuation that sellers are withholding my paid items, like the two garnet rings from Lizziesjewels, which were meant for a personal tribute.
I am hesitant to involve authorities but may have to if my concerns are not addressed promptly. I hope for a resolution to this distressing situation and appreciate your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Dr.ssa Lorenza Moretti

I sold a doll's house to a lady for £30. I had difficulty coordinating pickup with her due to missed emails, but she unexpectedly arrived at 9:40 am. Apologizing for the missing pieces, I explained my situation and found the extra items my daughter had removed. Offering those items for free, I proposed to meet halfway, but she declined due to travel and suggested I post them. Despite feeling bad, I sent the package via recorded delivery for £15.85, which she agreed to reimburse. After providing the receipt and informing her of the shipment, she hasn't responded to my requests for the postage payment. I'm frustrated at being out of pocket and seeking assistance as she agreed to cover the cost.

I suspect there is a deliberate effort to steal my identity based on recent incidents. In October [redacted], I received an email from someone claiming to be an international hacker, alleging one of my email accounts was compromised. They demanded €[redacted] in bitcoin, but I took precautions by changing passwords. Recently, Facebook notified me of an unauthorized attempt from Colorado to access my account. With their help, I updated my account security. On December 31st, I got an email from eBay regarding an order and payment I did not make. It included my correct address. Subsequent unauthorized orders to 'dapandapanda' and 'new_freelance' followed in December, both paid by credit card. This is alarming as I have not made these orders or used a credit card for payments. I suspect this might be an attempt to verify my address. I aim to contact eBay to investigate how my information was accessed and want to refrain from engaging with the sellers until this issue is resolved.

I purchased a Kaspersky product on October 3, [redacted], intending to use it on my new phone. However, after reaching out to Kaspersky customer service, they revealed that I had been scammed. I am seeking a refund for this issue. The response from Kaspersky explained the violation of their End User License Agreement and advised me to request a refund from the retailer involved. They recommended purchasing licenses directly from their Online Store or authorized retailers in the future to avoid such problems. If further assistance is needed, they encouraged reaching out to their support team for help. The email outlined specific clauses from the EULA regarding the unauthorized use and transfer of software licenses to third parties.

My package is at the designated delivery location, but to retrieve it, I need a code that starts with FM followed by numbers, given by the employee at the location. I've been waiting for a week since the delivery without receiving the code. I've reached out to the seller and the delivery service, but they couldn't provide the necessary code. The worker mentioned that eBay could provide this specific code. I would appreciate it if eBay could contact me urgently to assist in releasing my parcel. The item number associated with this delivery is [redacted]62 and the tracking code provided is 1Z2V7V[redacted]21.

Hello eBay,
I am reaching out about Item number: [redacted]86, which I have not yet received. I made the purchase just a few days before Christmas in [redacted]. After receiving an email from eBay on December 25th regarding the delivery status, I replied notifying them of the non-delivery, but I have not received any response. Attempts to contact the seller have been unsuccessful. I would appreciate it if this could be resolved promptly given the considerable delay in delivery.
Thanks, Tim

Hello, I would like to inquire about the recent issues I've encountered on eBay. I've been trying to purchase a PS4 since January 12, [redacted]. The first order was supposed to arrive by January 27, [redacted], but has not been delivered. Unfortunately, my money was deducted from PayPal, and now I need to go through the process of getting a refund. Subsequent attempts to purchase a PS4 have led to similar outcomes with the items being unavailable after payment. I have opened a dispute to get my money back. It's frustrating to have my money taken and then have to wait to get it back. This has happened four times now, and I feel disappointed with the experience. I am questioning why eBay advertises these items if they are not available for purchase. Thank you, P. Simmons
