I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo account. The only option seems to be paying for help, which shouldn't be necessary for a free app. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number I used to create the account, which was from a Straight Talk prepaid phone. My Yahoo account is linked to my Facebook, proving my identity. Just because I can't recall an old phone number or password doesn't mean I should be permanently locked out and lose everything. The Yahoo account is connected to my Facebook (Dillon Caulley). I now have an active phone number through AT&T on a contract. I really need to regain access to my account to avoid losing all my data.

I have been locked out of my Yahoo account, [redacted] I have forgotten the password and cannot remember it at all. The phone number I connected to the account was from over a year ago, and I no longer have access to it. I am unable to receive any verification codes on that old number. I would like to update my phone number and recovery email to prevent this issue in the future. I have an active iCloud email, phone number, and Facebook account that can verify my identity. I am eager to regain access to my account and would appreciate any help to do so. Thank you.

Hello,
I am having trouble accessing my email account because I forgot the password. When I try to reset it, Yahoo sends a code to my old phone number that is no longer active, making it impossible for me to verify. Despite knowing the correct answers to my security questions, Yahoo does not give me the option to use them. I have had this email account since [redacted] and desperately need to regain access as it is linked to important accounts like Facebook and gaming profiles. Additionally, I encountered an issue a couple of years ago when I changed my password and was unable to log in afterwards, making this a significant problem. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Nadine J.

I am ERICK VICTORY NZIKU from Tanzania, facing issues with my [redacted] email account for over seven years. I mistakenly confirmed the wrong mobile number, entering [redacted] instead of +[redacted]31, which has hindered my access to the account. I seek assistance to regain entry, recalling details like the hospital of my birth, my favorite game, and possibly my child's name to facilitate the recovery process. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo email account on my iPad. The saved password seems to have disappeared, and when I try to reset it on the Yahoo mail site, it only prompts me for one security question about my pet's name and birthdate, which I do not remember. I am unable to access any other verification methods like my phone number or alternate email. I've tried contacting Yahoo for help, but the options I found require signing up for monthly fees, which I cannot afford. I am unsure what to do next as I cannot find a way to contact Yahoo without paying for support. Can anyone offer advice on how to resolve this issue with my account? Thank you.

Around 7 months ago, Yahoo.co.uk stopped downloading emails to an email address I've had since [redacted]. I keep receiving messages asking me to change my password and log in to fix the issue. Despite changing my password for [redacted], Yahoo claims they don't recognize me or the email address. I have the email on my computer, iPad, and both mobile devices, but it doesn't make a difference. I received a message today saying the email has been canceled due to inactivity and asked me to reset the account, which I did. However, I was then told I can't use it because it belongs to someone else, who is actually me. I would appreciate it if someone could help me look into this matter. S.E. Biggs

I urgently contacted a supposed Yahoo support number, 0[redacted], about email issues. A gentleman claimed to be from a "Yahoo support company" and said my email wasn't working due to hacking. He offered to fix it for £49 within an hour. When I inquired why Yahoo wasn't handling it, he advised me to find Yahoo's number online, saying they didn't have it. When I asked for their company's name, they abruptly hung up. I'm genuinely concerned and need to confirm if my email was hacked. This situation is alarming as I've used this email for over 25 years.

My sister's phone was stolen last night, and all her account access is on that device. We are unable to reset her password because it requires her to log in or verify through her phone. The backup email provided, [redacted], is not functional either. Yahoo does not recognize the email when attempting to log in to the backup email. We urgently need to change her email password to prevent potential hacking. Changing her Facebook account is also problematic since it sends emails to her phone. Any prompt assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This morning, I experienced a sudden loss of email history without any explanation. My phone unexpectedly started scrolling through past emails and ended up wiping out all messages from today back to November last year. I couldn't find them in any deleted folders or anywhere else. The same issue occurred when I checked on my computer. I am managing three businesses, selling a house, and buying a shop, so the missing emails are crucial. I am baffled by this unexpected loss. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently residing in India and have a Yahoo account. When attempting to sign in, Yahoo requires verification through a code sent to either a mobile number or an alternate email address. Although my recovery mobile number is accurate, the displayed country code is incorrect. Instead of showing +91 (for India), it displays +1 for the US. Consequently, I am unable to receive any recovery messages. I am unable to correct the code as I am unable to sign in. Additionally, I have forgotten the recovery email associated with the account. Are there any alternative methods to update the country code or initiate the recovery process through other means? Thank you for your assistance.

I can receive incoming Yahoo mail without any issues. But I'm facing a problem when trying to reply to messages. Once I click on reply, the reply screen briefly appears and then disappears. The message remains in the Yahoo drafts folder without any other actions, like composing the reply. Additionally, when I attempt to compose a new message by clicking the icon or menu, the screen greys out without opening the new message window. After clicking on the toolbar, it returns to normal. This issue started after updating to the latest version of Catalina (10.15.03) on my iMac. Interestingly, I can send and compose messages directly on the Yahoo website without any problems. My email works fine on my iPhone and iPad. I've tried taking the account offline and back online, but the problem persists. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Ian.

Dear Sir or Madam, I have an issue as I accidentally unsubscribed from my email address today. When I click that I have no access to the number, it always prompts me to seek help. Unfortunately, I am stuck and hope you can assist me in regaining access to my other account. Sincerely, Mrs. K.

Hello, I am Sanath. My father, S. Ramachandran, used to have a Yahoo account under the ID [redacted] Unfortunately, after his passing, I took over the account using the same password and added my Gmail as a recovery address. Recently, I received an email notifying me that someone removed my Gmail from the recovery settings and changed the password. Although I managed to recover access using Yahoo's recovery option, the issue has recurred, and a different address was added for recovery again. Yahoo then logged me out of all sessions, and now when I try to log in, it says, "Sorry, we don't recognize this email address." I am reaching out for help as my father's account holds great importance for me and my family. Thank you.
