My mom set up a Yahoo account for me nine years ago when I was 10, and she also made me a Facebook account. Now, I can't recall the Facebook password and need to verify it via email because no phone number was linked. However, I can't access the Yahoo account ("[redacted]" and "[redacted]") as I forgot the password. When I try to sign up for a new account with "toryw2000," it states the account already exists. Essentially, I just need the verification code from the Yahoo email to access my Facebook, but I'm unable to access the email due to conflicting issues. Appreciate any help with this, thanks.

Dear Sir,
I created my account approximately 6 or 7 years ago and used it until [redacted]. In August [redacted], I purchased a new phone. However, when I attempted to log in, I realized I had forgotten my password. After numerous tries, I managed to recall it, but I was prompted to verify my identity by answering security questions, which I also forgot as I had provided incorrect answers when I initially set up the account.
My account is linked to my Facebook, and I would like to explore the option of account recovery through that platform. I am willing to provide any necessary proof to confirm that it is indeed my account.
I can be reached at [redacted] or +91 [redacted]. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your help.

Hello, urgently needing assistance. Several years back, I created a Yahoo profile, [redacted], which was linked to my long-standing Facebook account. Regrettably, I no longer have access to my Yahoo email and can't recall the address. Recently, my Facebook account got hacked. I'm in the process of recovering it but encountering difficulties with retrieving my Yahoo password, as Yahoo is prompting me for an optional email, which happens to be a "yopmail" account I am unfamiliar with. It appears yopmail may have been used to compromise my Facebook initially. I urgently require help in accessing my Yahoo account as the regular recovery options are not proving fruitful. The situation has left me quite apprehensive. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a Chromebook where I access my Yahoo mail through my Gmail account effortlessly. Chrome usually saves my login details, but recently it didn't auto-fill my Yahoo address. After manually inputting my info, I encountered a wrong password error. Trying to create a new Yahoo account required a mobile number I don't have. When attempting to use my existing [redacted] address, Chrome auto-filled my Gmail address instead. Although I corrected it to my Yahoo address, I received a message prompting me to use a new address, despite [redacted] being my long-standing address.

When I check my emails, I can only see today's emails and nothing else. How can I view emails from the previous days, weeks, or months to review them? The past week is completely empty! It's frustrating that there is no one available to assist with this issue. This is on top of losing business due to AT&T internet problems that took three days to resolve, forcing me to switch providers to keep my remote job. Now this email problem adds to my frustration. Do I need to switch to a different email account too? I have important information that I can't access, and the lack of support is disappointing.

I have received two emails, Ashargetsinger and Ash.argetsinger, both from Yahoo. I am encountering issues logging into one of them as my personal email is linked incorrectly when trying to reset the password. I need both accounts to be linked properly for assistance in case I have trouble logging into one. Unfortunately, there is no chat or support number available for me to resolve this matter efficiently. The codes I receive do not match what I had set previously, which is causing difficulty accessing my accounts. I am trying to log into [redacted] from my gaming account, [redacted]

Hello, I recently purchased a new phone and unfortunately, I am having trouble signing into my Yahoo account. This account is crucial for work purposes as it contains essential training materials. Regrettably, I cannot recall my password. My work email is [redacted], and the associated phone number is [redacted]2. I am currently unable to access my Yahoo email account ([redacted]) as the security code is being sent to an incorrect backup email address. The correct backup email should be [redacted], not [redacted] or [redacted] The erroneous backup email address has caused me to be unable to receive the necessary code from Yahoo to regain access to my account. Additionally, my cell phone is no longer in use. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly as I have reached out about this concern previously without a resolution. Hello, I am using an old Verizon.net email on both my laptop and phone. I usually check my emails on my phone, but I need to access them on my laptop to upload some files. Unfortunately, I couldn't log in because it seems like my password may have been reset. When I tried to recover it, the system doesn't recognize my email address, which is puzzling because I receive emails daily on my phone using the same email address ([redacted]). This is time-sensitive, and I would really appreciate any help you can provide.

I need assistance with my account that I created at least six years ago. It is linked to a Facebook account that I cannot access now. To reset my password, I must log into my Yahoo account, which is [redacted] Despite knowing the password, I encounter a message stating "suspicious activity" and requiring a text to my old phone number. On the 11th of March, I discovered that my Yahoo email account had been hacked. Someone had sent unauthorized emails to my Yahoo Contacts. Upon checking my Spam folder, I found a threatening email from Joris Moine on the 7th of March demanding $[redacted] to prevent sharing false information with my contacts. Following Yahoo's guidance, I identified unauthorized access by a third party labeled 'like gecko IOS.' I secured my account by changing my password, logging out from IOS devices, and now exclusively use my iMac for email access to thwart the hacker. Despite reporting the incident and sharing details, including the threatening email, to [redacted] on the 12th of March, and receiving case number [redacted]3, I have yet to receive further assistance after following up three times. I seek advice on whether closing my current email address and creating a new one would resolve the issue, as I am currently unable to safely use my email on IOS devices with the existing address.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my email address, [redacted] I have not accessed this account in approximately 8-10 years, and I am unable to recall the password. I need to regain access to this email account.
I believe I would have received emails related to "World of Warcraft" in this account. I can provide personal details such as my address, date of birth, etc. However, I am unable to remember my youngest child's nickname. It was Donald. Additionally, the security question asks for my favorite author, which I cannot recall due to the length of time that has passed. Is there a way to recover access to this account so I can log into other old accounts linked to it?
The recovery email associated with this account belonged to my mother, Donna Davies, with a Hotmail address. However, she has since remarried and no longer has access to that email account.
I appreciate your assistance in recovering access to my email account.
Thank you,
Harriet Siobhan Davies

Error messages keep appearing, and my recovery phone number is not being recognized, leaving me unable to access my email. My email address is [redacted] and it uses Yahoo email services.
Lately, my inbox is only displaying the 12 emails I received today, while the inbox tab shows [redacted] emails total. I cannot see emails older than a day.
I am unable to delete emails efficiently as marking them opens the email, and pressing delete when it's open does not work. Additionally, I cannot select all emails in the spam or trash folders for deletion.
Moreover, clicking the gear icon on the top right does not open the settings menu. My wife, [redacted], is facing the same difficulties.
It seems like there have been recent changes to the Yahoo email program. How can I access older emails in my inbox, delete emails from folders, mark all for deletion, and access the settings menu as before?

I am unable to access my email account ([redacted]) because I have forgotten the password. I believe the email may be causing issues with websites connected to it. The previous passwords for the account are known, and I can provide identification with my passport. I might remember the answers to the security questions, but I created the email when I was young, so it is uncertain. The recovery email ([redacted]) is my mother's, but it has been deleted due to inactivity. The phone number associated with the account is [redacted]4, which I no longer use. I lack proof of ownership for this number due to having it when I was young. I possess identification such as my passport and birth certificate. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I received an email from Yahoo asking me to verify my account to prevent it from being closed. They mentioned that there were multiple login attempts from different devices and they need me to confirm my information. However, I am hesitant to provide my date of birth and password to Yahoo. I primarily use my email on my laptop, tablet, and phone and do not want to risk my account's security. Can anyone confirm if this email is legitimate or if it could be a scam?
