I recently updated my contact information on Instagram, changing my phone number and email address. However, I forgot the password to my Yahoo email. After updating my information on Instagram, I received a notification that my number had been changed and was then signed out of my account. When I tried to log back in, the verification page only showed my old email and phone number, not the new ones I had just updated. Despite attempting to resolve this issue by updating my Facebook account details, the verification page continues to display the old information. My Yahoo email, which is linked to my Instagram, has a forgotten password, and I no longer have access to the associated phone number. I am feeling very stressed out trying to figure out how to regain access to my account. I have tried various methods to recover it, and it seems that resetting my Yahoo email password might be the best solution.

I recently received a concerning email dated 21 Jul [redacted] at 21:07 from Randy Mckenzie at <[redacted]>. The email demanded money and was quite abusive. Upon opening it yesterday, I noticed it mentioned a deadline of 2 days for payment. It also included my email address along with a password that may be old and unfamiliar to me. I am hoping that someone from your organization, or an expert in dealing with such emails, can identify these details in case other Yahoo users are experiencing something similar. If needed, I can forward a copy of the email for analysis if you provide me with the appropriate address. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I created an email address when I was younger that was linked to my Apple ID, but I've forgotten the password. Unfortunately, I can't access my Yahoo email to reset it because I also forgot the password to my Yahoo account that I created when I was young. I mistakenly entered the wrong phone number for reset verification, so now I can't receive the necessary text messages. The email I need access to is [redacted], and the correct phone number should end in [redacted] instead of [redacted]. This has left me unable to access my locked iPad. I'm hoping to regain access to my email to unlock my iPad.

Hello, I am writing to report a serious security breach involving my Yahoo account and subsequent unauthorized access to my T-Mobile account. This breach has resulted in fraudulent activities such as phone number hijacking, unauthorized access PIN retrieval using Yahoo, porting of my number to Metro PCS, and the unauthorized withdrawal of $[redacted] from my Bank of America account utilizing Zelle through Yahoo. Consequently, the suspect has established a Gmail account in my name. Additionally, I am concerned about unwanted solicitations and unknown emails flooding my inbox, which I suspect are related to this incident. I urgently seek assistance in identifying the location and user behind the fraudulent Gmail account. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated as my identity has been compromised and financial losses incurred. Thank you for your immediate action.

I recently received an email from Francis Ogbudo and found it suspicious. Since then, my friends have been receiving the same email from me, and now I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account. Whenever I try to log in, it tells me my session has expired, and even after trying to reset my password, I am still unable to access it. Also, I received a suspicious email from Yahoo about unusual sign-in activity on my account. I am worried about losing access to my Yahoo and Facebook accounts as they are linked to important things. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am having difficulty accessing my Yahoo account, [redacted], due to being locked out of my two-step verification process. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the mobile phone or secondary email I had set up for verification as my phone is broken and my school email has been deactivated since graduating. Although I remember my password (St33l3rs!!!), I am unable to change it myself because of the verification obstacles preventing me from entering my Yahoo email account. If there is a way to manually disable the two-step verification process on my account, I would greatly appreciate it as it would allow me to regain access and update my information. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been communicating through [redacted], an email account that my son Collin Burton set up while in America. He later moved to the UK, and this email became our primary means of contact following his divorce in [redacted]. However, communication abruptly ceased in [redacted] without any bounce-back emails. Upon investigation, I discovered that someone named Ernie has been associated with the account for years, but no last name was provided. It appears that [redacted] is not currently listed as an existing email address. I would appreciate any insight into the history of this account, particularly when Ernie assumed control and why the email is no longer active. Thank you. Brenda Smith.

Hello Yahoo, I am having trouble accessing an old email account linked to [redacted] It has been a while since I last logged in, and unfortunately, I cannot recall the password. The phone number associated with the account is also no longer in use, leaving me unable to reset the password. I have valuable photos stored in that email that I would like to retrieve. There were no security questions that I can remember, and I am struggling to prove my ownership of the account. I hope to regain access to my account, as it is genuinely mine, and I am eager to resolve this issue. If possible, please contact me via my alternate email [redacted] for further assistance. Thank you for your help.

I recently received a suspicious phone call from a supposed Yahoo Tech services representative threatening to close my account due to alleged hacking. The caller ID displayed "[redacted]" (US number). Upon logging into my primary Yahoo account, an alert prompted action to avoid losing account access. This seems dubious to me, especially after having experienced hacking before. My local tech support also suspects it might be a scam. Could you please investigate this matter and provide guidance promptly? Thank you. ([redacted])

My mother is having trouble logging in with her email [redacted] due to suspicious activity notifications. When she tries to reset the password by receiving a code, it doesn't work since the email address is similar to the stored one and the phone number is not accepted. Since the account hasn't been used for 2-3 years, the profile information is not familiar. Could you please reset the account so she can log in with just the password, or should she create a new account? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, J. Kirchner, Friedrichsdorf, Germany

After receiving a notification from Yahoo about an attempted access to my email account, I promptly changed my password while at work. However, by the end of the day, I couldn't log in using the new password I had just set. To make matters worse, I realized I had forgotten the password for my recovery email address. Despite spending time trying to resolve the issue online, I wasn't successful. I reached out to Yahoo customer service last week via letter, explaining my situation. I requested a temporary password so I could access my health records, as I need to submit my annual illness report to the hospital soon. Having my health directory file in my inbox is crucial. Please contact me so I can provide the necessary information to verify my identity as the account owner. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in advance.

Hello, I have been an avid reader of news on Yahoo for several years and I find it very informative. However, I am writing to address a recent trend where the Miami Herald and The Charlotte Observer are posting clickbait articles that lead to subscription pages demanding payment to read the full stories. This practice reflects poorly on Yahoo and gives the impression of questionable tactics to generate revenue. As a loyal user, I urge Yahoo to reconsider allowing such misleading content on its platform. It is disappointing to encounter these tactics on a site I have trusted for over a decade. I hope appropriate measures will be taken to prevent these publications from exploiting Yahoo for financial gain. Thank you, Boatindiver

Urgent Help Needed I am in desperate need to regain access to my email account after losing all my possessions in a house fire, including important photos only stored online. Despite knowing my password, Yahoo is requiring verification. As this was my first email account, I didn't set up a recovery address correctly and misspelled the domain. Regrettably, I no longer have access to the recovery phone number and made an error in the recovery email. I am willing to provide any necessary security information. Please assist with this matter promptly. Thank you, B. G. [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]

I am facing difficulty accessing emails from my Yahoo account [redacted] on my new mobile device. I used to access it on my old mobile, but I cannot recall the password now. Even after attempting to recover through my email and phone number, the system does not display the desired emails. I am certain I used an account key instead of a password for this email account. I am perplexed as to why I could access it on my old mobile but not on this new phone. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I would like to request assistance regarding my [redacted] email account. Approximately a year ago, my ex-partner blocked my access to the account, which I have had for a long time. Despite my attempts to log in using known old passwords from a familiar desktop, I am prevented from accessing the account due to the lack of the recovery phone number. I believe I have sufficient information to prove ownership of the account, and it is crucial as it serves as a recovery email for various other important accounts with sentimental value, including precious photos. I also have an alias for the account, stormi_starr69, and knowledge of old recovery emails. I possess an old account key from last year. I am eager to regain access to this account and would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you, Sarah

About a year ago, my ex-boyfriend managed to hack into all of my accounts. I have been desperately trying to recover access to my email account [redacted], which is crucial for my other accounts. I have been using this account for over 15 years. I believe the password was changed around last July or August. It has been challenging to regain control of my accounts, and any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have a good recollection of many of my old passwords. I am currently using my long-standing home desktop to try to access the account, and I can provide almost any necessary information about it. Additionally, I recall my old recovery accounts, and I still have an email with a keycode from last year to assist in regaining access. Some of my previous recovery accounts are *****@***.com, *****@***.com, and *****@***.com. Your help in this matter would be invaluable. Thank you, S.T.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an email account issue I encountered. In 2[redacted], I created an account with the email address [redacted] Recently, I noticed that the account is still active with my profile picture, which surprised me as I have not used it in many years. I attempted to access it but faced difficulties with the password and recovery options. Over the years, my boyfriend and I shared a Facebook account where Google services became linked. Regrettably, due to his actions, I receive notifications and see history that does not belong to me. It seems he has taken control of this Yahoo account, similar to what happened with my [redacted] account. I am concerned about these associations and the inappropriate activities linked to his actions. I kindly request assistance in either regaining access to my Yahoo account (as all recovery information has been changed) or deleting it entirely. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted]

I previously participated in "Yahoo Answers" as "Engineer Dave," accumulating [redacted] points with 51% best answers, posting [redacted] answers, and asking 3 questions. After retiring and changing email addresses, I am unable to access my account as I cannot recall the password associated with my previous email. Yahoo support directed me to AT&T for assistance using my AT&T password to access Yahoo but not my original "Engineer Dave" account. I would appreciate guidance on how I can regain access to my "Engineer Dave" account, which was linked to either [redacted] or [redacted]

Today when I attempted to access my inbox, I encountered an issue preventing me from checking my email. A brief message flashed on the screen, quickly disappearing before redirecting me to a Google search. After several attempts, I caught a glimpse of a notification stating Yahoo had restricted my inbox due to the presence of the word "gay" in my emails. Interestingly, this word appeared in a news headline from Yahoo about a courageous athlete announcing their sexual orientation. I find it perplexing that Yahoo would block my inbox based on their own news content. I kindly request access to my inbox and suggest that the company ensure their content aligns with their policies to avoid similar occurrences for other users in the future.
