I need assistance with my apparent hacking issue due to weak security. I am seeking direct access to live customer support with a reachable phone number. Yahoo used to have excellent security and support, but it has declined. None of the provided numbers have been helpful in addressing the hacking problem, making unauthorized access easy. I wish to reset my password and regain access to my account. However, I am unable to use mobile access or key codes on my phone. I am one of many frustrated users reporting issues and seeking a resolution. Despite numerous phone numbers, the lack of effective communication exacerbates the situation. My email linked to the account I can't access is [redacted] My main goal is to change my password amid these security concerns. I believe the hacking vulnerabilities stem from your end. Thank you, Trisha M., a loyal customer.

A while back, I set up an email account, [redacted]
Sometime in the past 1 to 2 years, I deleted it.
Recently, I tried to create a new Yahoo mail account with the same email, [redacted]
I received a message saying, "A Yahoo account already exists with this email address" and prompts me to sign in.
However, when I try to send an email to this address, I don't receive any delivery failure notifications.
Trying to sign in with my remembered password, I'm informed that I have the wrong password and prompted to verify the missing digits for security reasons.
I am worried that someone might be using this email in my name to send messages and that despite being deleted, the account retains the old emails and data.
Accessing this account to review the old emails would be extremely valuable to me since the email is meaningful.
Regards,
Jack F.

I visited the Yahoo.ca homepage and a customer appreciation offer appeared, prompting me to fill out a survey for a chance to win a phone. Upon completing the survey, I was informed that only iPhone Xs were available and I needed to pay $1 to proceed. However, after providing my information, I was redirected to a sign-up page for ZedPlays.com. I realized I never provided my address for the phone shipment, raising concern about how I will receive the gift. The transition to ZedPlays seemed misleading as I expected to enter my information for the survey gift. When reaching out to ZedPlays customer support, the lack of clarity about their relation to Yahoo and the survey was disappointing. Their cancellation process left me uneasy about the security of my details. Despite Yahoo's potential unawareness of the situation, this experience has soured my perception of their association with ZedPlays. As a long-time Yahoo user, this encounter may influence my decision to continue using their services.Signed,K Speaker (current Yahoo user considering alternatives)

I have been using the same Yahoo email address for all my accounts like Facebook and Snapchat for years. Recently, I couldn't log in because I forgot my security questions, which I set up when I was only 11 years old. It has been about 3 or 4 years since I've been locked out of my Yahoo account. I've lost access to some social media accounts as well. I really hope to recover my Yahoo account to regain access to my other accounts. I can provide any necessary information to verify my identity. Please assist me with this issue, Yahoo.

I suspect my Yahoo account has been compromised. Last accessed on June 11, now I can't get in. Contacted Yahoo support via chat, but they couldn't assist right away as my account is Yahoo-US. I contacted Apple support for help with my iCloud account linked to the same email. Please assist in regaining access to my account at [redacted]

I am attempting to recover my old account, which I believe has been inactive for over 5 years. The email associated with the account is [redacted] Unfortunately, I did not set up the security questions correctly back then. The location-based question may have the answer "Georgia," but the question about my "first boss" will likely have a nonsensical response as I was unemployed in high school and did not have a first boss. I have already tried the password reset form multiple times and am now locked out, so I must reach out to support for further assistance.
I am trying to regain access to this account because it is linked to my old Xbox account under the gamertag TRAFFIC RAM. There should be recent emails from Microsoft regarding this Xbox account. Although I can reset the password for my Microsoft account, I cannot sign in as it still requires the credentials for my old [redacted] email.
I am wondering if providing additional information like the address of the house where I used to access the account, which was my childhood home, could help in recovering the account by connecting it to the IP address used during that time period. I understand this might be a long shot given the limited information I have, but I appreciate any assistance or clarification on the possibility of account recovery. Thank you for your help.

I need to access my Yahoo account as it contains important work-related forms which I have no other copies of. Unfortunately, the system sent a verification text to my old phone number, which I no longer have access to since I upgraded my device. I am unable to log in without this text verification, and I urgently need a way to confirm my account so I can retrieve the necessary information. Additionally, I would like to update my verification settings for future access. Thank you for your assistance. -Jesse S.

Hello, I'm Kacie M. I had an old email account, [redacted], many years ago when I was younger. Unfortunately, I lost access to it and created a new email address, not paying much attention to the old one. I am willing to provide any necessary security information to recover my account. Thank you for your help.

I represent the executors of an estate involved in High Court litigation. Typically, we would review the solicitor's file to confirm the deceased's instructions for the Will. Unfortunately, the file no longer exists due to a computer virus affecting the law firm in April [redacted]. While the emails concerning the Will were archived, they were not backed up, making retrieval impossible after the IT system failure. We are specifically interested in obtaining copies of emails between the deceased and the Solicitor from January [redacted] to July [redacted]. The email address in question is *******@xtra.co.nz. Spark, the current ISP for xtra emails, noted that the address was previously hosted by Yahoo. We urgently need to verify if Yahoo retains any relevant emails during that period. As the executors are now responsible for obtaining this crucial information, we kindly request a prompt response. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss further. Thank you.

My new phone will arrive in a couple of days, and I need to access the accounts on laptops or other devices. Any assistance in retrieving these messages would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding Yahoo Mail Issue
I am writing to report an incident involving a Yahoo email account, specifically [redacted], which was used to hack into my Amazon Mechanical Turk account recently. My hard-earned money was compromised due to this breach, and I am unable to access my account as a result. The individual who gained unauthorized access was able to manipulate my account through a task on Amazon Mechanical Turk. I discovered this breach when I found myself unable to open my email this morning. I have reported the matter to Amazon, who are investigating the situation to help restore my access. This incident highlights a serious security concern, as I fear that other accounts may have been compromised by the same individual. I urge Yahoo to take action against this email address and address this phishing or scam issue promptly. I trust that Yahoo will investigate this matter thoroughly. For any additional information or evidence, please contact me at [redacted] Thank you.

My Instagram account was mistakenly deleted for allegedly violating guidelines. Despite following all rules, it was removed due to a "false account" accusation, even though my name is genuinely Taylor Swift. The account was linked to an inactive Yahoo email, [redacted], which I cannot access as the password was changed, and the recovery phone number is unfamiliar to me. I suspect someone tampered with my profile. I urgently need account access to address this issue with Instagram and tighten security. My active email is [redacted] I am also willing to contact a support representative or helpline if provided. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am looking to close my account due to the constant password issues I've been facing. Despite knowing my password, the system prompts me to change it repeatedly. Previously, there was a box to validate the new password which is now missing. After changing it and signing out, it might work initially but fails the next day. I've tried contacting customer service with multiple emails and names but they are unable to assist without additional proof, which I find frustrating. This morning, I received an email regarding the company's security measures, yet I recall the recent hacking incident that compromised user accounts. I've had this account since its inception in royalarch1959. It's disappointing that a company aiming for strong security measures faced a breach. I'm providing the same email associated with the account for reference, which seems ironic given the login troubles.

I had trouble accessing my Yahoo account. When I searched for Yahoo help online, I managed to regain access.
However, once I logged in, I encountered an issue where I couldn't open the contents of files in my inbox. It kept loading but never opened.
Now, when I try to log back in, I receive a message saying: "Network connection timed out. Please try again." This is a new problem for me.
I am not very knowledgeable about technology, so I am unsure about what to do next. I am also hesitant about the Yahoo Community - I am not sure if it's just a group of users or if there are Yahoo employees involved. I am concerned about my privacy and don't want others accessing my personal files.

I have already contacted Yahoo Help, but unfortunately, they were unable to assist me. My name is H.L. and I have an email account with Yahoo under the address [redacted] I haven't used this email in a while, as I changed the password in early [redacted] during a personal situation. I now can't recall the password and need to update my information and add a backup email. My other Yahoo account is [redacted], which I can still access. For the security questions, I remember the first answer is "Chad," but I cannot recall the second question because I do not have a favorite musician. My wife's credit card was recently compromised, and money was withdrawn from her USAA account. USAA has suspended the accounts, requiring her to confirm her password via email to regain access. Unfortunately, her phone is no longer working, so we got a new phone with a new line due to a promotional deal. However, we are unable to access her account from an unfamiliar device, as her laptop also stopped working a few months ago. We're now stuck waiting until 08/01 to access the account, causing frustration as we can't use the funds to pay bills without verifying her identity through email, which we can't do with the changed phone number and broken computer. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
