I encountered an issue trying to purchase the $1 one-month Xbox Live Gold subscription offer. After paying for it, I faced loading issues. I tried again and discovered my account balance had decreased significantly without receiving the subscription. Upon restarting my Xbox, I found my subscription status showing a different service, Xbox game pass, with a charge on the same day. I prefer to get the month of Xbox Live rather than a refund due to the time it takes. The fact that I got charged the same day is perplexing. I would appreciate a prompt response.

I have already attempted this (my 4th time) but I missed the call. Here's the situation: we own an Xbox One with a parent account under the username: Brick Walled. Unfortunately, my dad and I (the parents) cannot remember the password and email associated with it. In an attempt to resolve this, we removed it from our Xbox, although we understand that the account would still exist with parent settings intact. We are hoping for your assistance in accessing the account/profile so we can re-add it and resume using it. Despite calling multiple times and only reaching a robotic system, I am optimistic this message will reach you. I am looking forward to your call. Thank you.

I purchased multiple Xbox One and [redacted] digital games during Microsoft's/Xbox Store's Black Friday sale on November 15, [redacted]. I received the advertised discount on the Xbox One games but was charged full price for the three Xbox [redacted] games. Despite multiple phone calls and refund requests, Microsoft keeps stating that I am not eligible for a partial or full refund for the overcharged games. Each refund request I submit receives an automated response denying my refund claim. It's frustrating, and I am looking for a way to speak to someone directly about resolving this issue and getting the refund I am owed.

I purchased Monster Hunter World from the Xbox store in February. Despite trying to request a refund on the Xbox website, I found out I'm not eligible due to the purchase being over 14 days ago. Initially, I believed I had a two-hour playtime limit for refunds, only to exceed it within two days. As Monster Hunter World requires more time to form an opinion, I've been unsatisfied with my purchase and regret it. While aware of my ineligibility for a refund, I'm reaching out to check if anything can be done. If granted, I intend to use the refunded amount to buy Xbox Star Wars games of equal value, considering they are now backwards compatible. My aim is not solely a refund but more of a trade for items of equal value.

This is regarding a credit card fraud incident. In the past, during my teenage years at the peak of Xbox [redacted], I had multiple accounts. While I now mainly play games on my not-so-great PC, I recently discovered an unauthorized charge on my Visa statement related to a Microsoft digital transaction for Xbox Live Gold, despite not having used an Xbox in over 5 years. I suspect someone has obtained my credit card information or accessed one of my old accounts fraudulently. Unfortunately, I cannot recall my past gamertags. I believe the unauthorized transactions are tied to a Scotiabank/VISA card, but I have since disabled it. I request assistance in investigating and stopping this misuse of my card. If possible, I would like to know where these transactions are occurring. Your cooperation in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - DR.

Two of my Xbox controllers are now broken. Firstly, my Sea of Thieves controller has a headset port that got pushed inside the controller when I tried plugging in my headset, causing the left and right D-Pad buttons to be stuck and unresponsive. Additionally, the controller's screen constantly drifts to the right when turned on. I would like to send it back to Xbox for repair since it is a limited $[redacted] Sea of Thieves controller that didn't even last 4 months. Moreover, my new Xbox One S controller has a broken right thumbstick that snapped off its support. I am particularly disappointed about the Sea of Thieves controller as I took good care of it and was gentle with it.

I recently had a negative experience with a user named I RTN KiLLER in a game. They used offensive language towards me and my friends, including racial slurs and other derogatory terms. The user repeatedly insulted me, told me to harm myself, and made inappropriate comments about my family. This behavior was hurtful and unacceptable. I would like to report this user and have them banned from the platform to prevent this type of abuse from happening to others.

I purchased one month of Xbox Live Gold back in March or April of [redacted] to allow my girlfriend to play games for a day. Upon reviewing my bank statement recently, I discovered that I have been charged monthly for a service we have not used nor consented to use. When purchasing a month's service, I did not agree to indefinite billing. I am requesting a refund and to have my billing information removed. I hope this issue will be resolved to prevent this from happening to others. Thank you.

I bought three Xbox [redacted] digital games and was wrongly charged the full price instead of the discounted prices. I've tried to contact Xbox for a refund, but they insist on submitting a refund request online. I have done this five times already, and each time, I receive an automated response saying the games aren't eligible for a refund. I just want the amount I was overcharged back, either as a credit or a refund to my credit card. The games in question are Crysis 2 and Crysis 3, both supposed to be fifty percent off with gold status, which I can prove, and Crackdown 2, a seventy five percent off title that's not even compatible with my Xbox One X. I'm not looking for a full refund, just the difference I was incorrectly charged. Thanks.

When attempting to sign in to my Xbox [redacted], I encountered the error message "Your console can't connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to exit the session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress." Error Code: [redacted]1. Upon performing the network connection test, I received the message "Network Failed Internet Blocked Xbox Live Blocked," indicating no internet connection was established. It's puzzling since all other devices in the house can connect to the internet, including mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Smart TV. The Xbox Live account in use is active and unblocked on Xbox One. I am perplexed as to why the Xbox [redacted] is experiencing this issue.

I have been trying to reach Xbox support at 1-[redacted]-4MYXBOX (1-[redacted]) multiple times, but I always end up with an automated message prompting me to select options in Spanish or receive a text message for online support. There seems to be no way to speak directly to a live agent for assistance with third-party connection issues. Could you please provide the correct contact number to connect with a representative from Microsoft Xbox One? It would be greatly appreciated if someone could return our call instead of leaving us without assistance.

Every time I attempt to log into my Xbox Live account, I encounter an issue with the server. When I try to enter a game, it kicks me out with a service error 0 0 3 9 4 6, indicating problems connecting to the Xbox Live server. This has been happening for the past two days, consistently showing the same error message. When I try to play the game, it glitches, freezes, and eventually logs me out of my account entirely. I have to log back in only for the same issue to recur. I am unsure what is causing this and would appreciate if you could investigate and troubleshoot to resolve this problem.

I recently purchased a new Xbox. My previous Xbox had my main account linked to [redacted] and a child account associated with [redacted] While logged into my parent account on the new Xbox, I can see the child account listed under "family," but I am unable to access it as the password is unknown, and the phone number linked to the email is no longer valid. Despite attempting to recover the password using the provided steps, I am consistently denied because I lack two pieces of required information: a previous password and an Xbox ID that I cannot access due to forgetting the old password.
After contacting support, I was informed that the recovery form is the only option, and if unsuccessful, I would need to create a new Microsoft account. This situation has left me unable to access my online purchases, history, achievements, and progress. I believe there should be better safeguards in place for password recovery in such cases. It is frustrating to potentially lose all this data due to a flawed password reset system.

I pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Xbox One S a while back, and everything was great. I played the game, completed the story, and had a great time. Recently, I purchased the Xbox One X, and everything was going well until I had to re-install all my games. I reached Red Dead Redemption 2 in the installation process, but it's telling me I never purchased the game. I can see it in my frequently played games group, but when I click on it, it takes me to the Xbox store, not to re-install it, but to repurchase the entire game. It's frustrating because I want to play it again and see how it looks on my new console. Please assist me with this issue. I'm eager to play it again. Thank you, Xbox and Microsoft.

On September 26, I made a payment using the account Neisha Ridgway Berriman with a MasterCard. Someone added their bank details to their Xbox Live account to purchase a game online for 1 month without my authorization. I assumed I would need to make another payment the following month. During this time, the account was lost, and the monitor was damaged, as far as I know. Recently, I noticed a charge of $11.95 for the Xbox Live monthly subscription, which I was not aware would auto-debit from my account. I no longer have access to the account and thought we had removed my payment details. I do not want to pay for the monthly game since I am not in contact with this person anymore. I am worried this might occur again, and I hope we can find a solution to prevent this in the future.

I recently purchased the online game Shadow of Mordor Definitive Edition. However, the advertisement suggested it would be more than what was actually received. I purchased Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War about a year ago which I have been playing. Please review my previous purchases and achievements. I have requested a refund due to receiving the wrong game, but I have not yet received any response. I would appreciate it if someone could follow up on this matter for me. My gamer tag is TheIceInMySoul, and I have been a loyal customer for over a decade with a substantial game collection. I am also over 50 years old. The advertisements being displayed are quite misleading. It has been three days since I requested the refund and I have not heard anything back.

I encountered the same issue last year, hoping it was resolved then. However, the refund never reached me, and I am now billed again. I have been covering my brother's Xbox Live subscription for his birthday for two years straight, which falls in September. His account is now updated with his details and is billed in December, I believe. Since I don't own any Xbox, I don't want to keep incurring an annual charge. Despite checking my account and apparently not getting charged, the issue persists. I even attempted to deactivate it but was still charged this year. I kindly request a refund for both this year and last year, as promised previously but never received.

Hello,
I recently noticed that a few months ago someone without my knowledge signed up for an Xbox Live Gold membership using my credit card. Given that I do not own an Xbox, I suspect it was my nephew who may have done so during a visit to my home since he lacks internet access.
Upon reviewing my account activity, you will find no logins, activity, or purchases, except for this Live subscription.
Although the account isn't linked to my email address, it is associated with my debit card, preventing me from canceling through the website or accessing it via Xbox since I don't possess one.
I kindly request the cancellation of the subscription and a refund for the unused services. I have sought advice from Fair Trading Australia, who suggested notifying you as the initial step to address this issue.
Thank you,
B.C.

I was playing Xbox casually until I had to reboot it to make it load faster. Upon restarting, all my accounts and files were missing, and I was hesitant to inform my grandma. The account I used, CheerierFlame91, was no longer there. I reached out to my parents, but neither knew the password. Unable to resolve it with my family or by using account recovery options, I'm stuck without access to my Xbox. After trying to fix it with Kevin, Jacob, Eric, and my dad, we hit a dead end. I'm reaching out for help to retrieve the password for my CheerierFlame91 account. If you could send the password to my email at [redacted], it would truly make my day as I've been locked out for two weeks. Thank you for any assistance.

During the Cyber Monday sale, my payment method was frozen, which caused the purchase price to change while waiting for a response from support. I tried to buy a game but couldn't due to long wait times for assistance, resulting in missing the sale for the South Park game and a $70 price difference. Hoping for a prompt resolution,
Jeovanni R.
