I accidentally changed my date of birth on Twitter while updating my profile picture, and now I'm locked out of my account. It has been several days, and I am feeling frustrated. I've been a Twitter user for over 5 years without any issues, so losing my account this way seems unreasonable. Unfortunately, contacting Twitter has been challenging. I have completed a form, but it's been almost a week without any response or updates on my account. While it says my account can be unlocked, I am waiting on the Twitter team. I rely on this account for networking, both personally and professionally, so I am eager to regain access. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I recently encountered an issue with my Twitter account, @simmoslxter, when I tried to update my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted]. Due to being underage when the account was created until April [redacted], Twitter locked me out. Despite receiving an email promising to delete the underage content and restore my account, I have not received any further updates or been able to regain access. I have provided photos of my passport and birth certificate, along with proof from my mother. I am eager to have my account reinstated and would appreciate any assistance or updates on the situation from Twitter. Thank you.

After entering my birthday as October 11, [redacted], my account got locked because it was registered in [redacted] when I was under 13 years old. Even though I found several support articles saying I could still use a locked account, I found myself unable to do anything except fill out a short form that Twitter automatically sends.
It's been months since then, and I have only received one obviously automated email stating they are working on it. That was months ago. I can't even seek more help on Twitter by direct messaging them because my entire account is locked.
Is it really that difficult to delete the tweets I made before turning 13? Most of them were automatically posted by my YouTube account before I disabled that feature. And please don't cite the long name I had; you can just use my @ handle.
I refuse to wait over a year for my Twitter account. Please stop stalling and return it, as promised.
My Twitter handle is @PikaDream.

I'm facing a concerning issue and seeking guidance. I have been an active Twitter user for over 5 years, managing only a few accounts during this time. Within the last 2 years, I also gained access to business accounts. Recently, one of the accounts I accessed was suspended, leading to the suspension of all my accounts. I firmly believe I have not violated any rules, especially since I did not create the account in question. I find it unfair and frustrating that my innocent actions resulted in automatic permanent suspensions. It's crucial for me to have my account reinstated promptly to reconnect with the numerous individuals I engage with on Twitter. I am confident that I have not engaged in any wrongdoing.

I created my Twitter account about 10 years ago. Initially, I mistakenly entered a different birth year, which I later corrected to reflect my actual birth year, [redacted]. Subsequently, my account got suspended by Twitter. I was required to fill out a form and submit it to Twitter in hopes of reinstating my decade-old account. However, even after a year has passed, my account remains locked. I utilized my decade-old email address to create the account, and I do not wish to start anew. I am open to providing verification, such as a government-issued ID, if needed, but I am very frustrated with the lack of assistance from Twitter's help center.

I have hardly ever used my Twitter account, but I recently discovered it's suspended when I tried to delete it (@crazybassist7). As I am creating new social media profiles, I no longer wish to keep this Twitter account active. Even after following the instructions in the support center, I cannot deactivate my account. When I go to the 'Account' tab in 'Settings and Privacy,' the option to deactivate is missing. Also, I get an "Internal Server Error" when I try to message Twitter. I'm unsure if the suspension is causing these issues, but I genuinely want to remove this account to start fresh since I rarely used it. Thank you for your help.

I'm having trouble accessing my account on Twitter. I am familiar with my username and password, but I was notified of unusual activity due to aggressive following, which resulted in my account being locked. To unlock it, I need to change the password. However, I originally signed up with my phone number, which is making it difficult for me to reset the password. I would appreciate it if Twitter could assist in unlocking my account or allowing me to reset the password using the phone number associated with my account. Thank you for your help.

I, Luis J. Polanco, work for the Government of the Dominican Republic at the Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL) as an IT Consultant for the Board of Directors. We have been approached by Minister Gonzalo Castillo of the Public Works department regarding a Twitter account @castilloterrero falsely claiming to be him, which goes against Twitter's terms and conditions. The account was established in [redacted], and our attempts to contact the owner have been futile. Minister Castillo has granted a Power of Attorney to Indotel's IT Director, Mr. Ramon Henriquez, whose Twitter handle is @HenriquezRisk, to handle this matter. I hold the Physical Power of Attorney and we are prepared to begin the process to request the closure of the account due to its violation of Twitter's terms.

On Saturday, May 4th, I mistakenly entered my incorrect date of birth on Twitter, leading to my account being locked due to age restrictions set when the account was created a decade ago in [redacted]. An email requesting consent was sent to my mother, even though I am now 21 and legally do not require her consent. After she explained the situation to Twitter on the same day, they requested that she upload photo ID and a document verifying her full name. My mother is uncomfortable sharing such personal information.
Efforts to communicate with Twitter have been challenging, resulting in an unhelpful and discourteous response. I seek clarification on why Twitter is asking for these specific personal documents from my mother in order to restore access to my account.

As a published author and Amazon merchant with a presence on several Print-on-Demand platforms, I've encountered unauthorized sellers claiming affiliation with my brand, Rates Da Goldfish. To address this issue, I need to verify the official Rates Da Goldfish Twitter accounts, @ratesdagoldfish and @spotdagoldfish. While I understand that Twitter's @support team may not be able to offer individual assistance, I'm seeking guidance on alternative channels to verify the accounts. Despite attempting to contact corporate offices and using available forms, I'm looking for options beyond these avenues. Is there a physical mailing address or specific email contact for Twitter that could facilitate resolving this matter? Any assistance in establishing the authenticity of @ratesdagoldfish would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Email me at [redacted] for any further details, including DBA information if necessary.

Hello Twitter community. I have noticed that the follower count (44.6K) on my account @ZiaBangashPTI has been stuck for the past 4-5 weeks. Despite regular new followers (about 80-[redacted] daily), my follower count hasn't increased. About four weeks ago, my followers were at 44.8K but have been stuck at 44.6K for 3 weeks now. I have reached out to Twitter through emails and direct messages to @TwitterSupport but have not received a response. Kindly review my followers list and investigate why the count has not changed despite the daily increase in followers. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Our Twitter account (@jerseyforceaau) was suspended due to copyright infringement violations. I wasn't aware of these violations initially because I don't regularly check the attached email. Upon realizing the issue and seeing the DMCA takedown notices, I promptly removed the 6 infringing tweets. The account is vital for supporting young basketball players and facilitating their recognition as well as aiding high school players in getting noticed by college coaches. The copyright infractions involved a Travis Scott song in a promotional video (not created by us) used to highlight a player. The account has been suspended for 11 days now, negatively impacting these young players at a crucial time. It's unjust, and I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter.

I set up a Twitter account for a new company partnership on Monday under the handle @ForsythForward. Unfortunately, the account got suspended right away because I mistakenly entered the current date (5/6/[redacted]) as the birthday, thinking it was the launch day. This triggered Twitter's system to assume the "person" was under 13 years old, which led to the account lock. I submitted a support ticket earlier today, but I'm hoping to get it resolved quickly as we plan to announce the partnership to the public at 11 am. Is there any way to expedite the process and resolve this issue promptly?

Hello! I've noticed that tweets I like or retweet sometimes end up unliking or un-retweeting themselves after some time, even with recent tweets from April 19th. This issue seems to be affecting other users as well, but I haven't found much information online on how to fix it. I mainly use Twitter from a web browser. Another strange thing I observed is that in my "Likes" section, tweets I liked the day before didn't have the heart icon indicating I liked them, but they were still visible as liked in the list. If anyone has tips on how to resolve this, I'd be grateful. I'm willing to have my account used for testing to help others facing the same problem.

Hello,
I recently encountered an issue with my Twitter account being locked. The account was originally created by my parents but was never actively used. I started using it when I reached the appropriate age. However, after updating my date of birth to accurately reflect my usage timeline, the account was locked, assuming I had been using it from a young age. I want to clarify that I have been using the account since I was of the appropriate age, not since its creation in [redacted]. I am now 15, almost 16, making me eligible to use the platform. I enjoy using Twitter to connect with my friends, and I would appreciate assistance in resolving this misunderstanding. Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Ela Fisher

I have been unable to access my account for two months now. I came across a tweet suggesting that changing your birth year to [redacted] on Twitter creates different animations. Naively, I attempted this only to realize it would make me 12 years old, while you must be at least 13 to have a Twitter account. This mistake has led to my account "court_ostling" being locked, despite being 16 years old. I would appreciate it if my account could be unlocked. Thank you.

I created my Twitter account when I was 13 and mistakenly input my birth year as [redacted] instead of my real birth year of [redacted]. Today, while updating my account to start using it more frequently, I corrected my birth year. However, now my account is not functioning properly. I am receiving a message urging me to secure my privacy, but when I agree and proceed, another message appears saying, “Error, oops something went wrong, try again later.” I am eager to resolve this issue and have my account operational again. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have been having trouble updating my age on Twitter for a while. It was stuck on [redacted] and wouldn't allow me to change it to my actual birth year, [redacted]. Finally, this morning, it permitted the change. However, I was then locked out for supposedly being under 13 years old. This is absurd as I have had my Twitter account for a decade. I am confused by this glitch and just wanted to ensure my birthday information is accurate. I am eager to regain access to my account. My username is @ima_robid_alien.
