My WestJet flight from Calgary to Ottawa on May 18 got cancelled due to a potential labour issue. WestJet staff at the airport indicated there were no alternative options and I needed to find my own way to Ottawa. Consequently, I had to arrange and pay for an Air Canada flight the following day and stayed in a hotel overnight. I am seeking a refund for the Calgary to Ottawa portion of my Saskatoon to Ottawa journey, reimbursement for the Air Canada ticket, and compensation for the accommodation expenses incurred.

While waiting for my flight from Calgary to Saskatoon on June 14th, volunteers were requested to check their bags due to the flight being full. I decided to help and was the first to check mine. However, upon picking up my bag in Saskatoon, I discovered it was wet. Unfortunately, the two bottles of Tequila I had bought in Calgary were damaged - one was smashed, and the other had a crack, causing both to leak all over my belongings. I am unable to submit my claim online because the date does not allow me to go back to the 14th. I require assistance with processing my claim.

To whom it may concern, I was on WestJet flight [redacted] from Calgary to Saskatoon on June 14th. Due to storms, the flight was delayed by around 90 minutes. While waiting, the WestJet staff asked for volunteers to check their bags. I volunteered to help as the flight was full. Some bags were almost left behind, causing a further delay, but eventually, everything was sorted, and we continued our journey. Upon arrival in Saskatoon, I found my bag wet due to a broken bottle of Tequila I purchased as a gift. I reported the issue to WestJet and was told to file a claim online. However, since I live an hour away and had work the next day, I could only take a few pictures before bed. Over the next days, I tried to file the claim but faced difficulties due to the lack of pictures. When I finally spoke to a WestJet representative, I was informed that I couldn't make a claim because the contents were not covered. I'm writing to seek further assistance. Thank you. Sincerely, S. I missed my flight from Calgary (WS018) to London Heathrow on Tuesday, June 27, at 20:35 due to a power shortage at the airport causing WestJet's baggage systems to shut down. The issue prevented me from checking in online or tagging my luggage for the flight. After waiting for 3.5 hours, an agent informed me they couldn't check me in and suggested I contact the call center to rebook on the next available flight. I am now looking for a replacement flight from YYC to LHR promptly. I originally had business class seats and would prefer to secure similar class seats for the new booking.

Dear Team, I am writing to report an issue with my recent travel experience. On March 11th, I had a booking with Westjet (Booking reference: 3ML3DW) for a flight from Ottawa to Toronto Airport, connecting to a flight from Toronto to Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the initial flight was delayed for 24 hours due to crew constraints, resulting in an automatic rebooking of both legs of my journey to the next day without my consent. This change greatly impacted my travel plans, as I had an important conference in Amsterdam that I could not miss. Despite my efforts to find an alternative solution by requesting to be rebooked on an earlier flight to Toronto on the same day, I was not provided with any viable options from Westjet. Subsequently, I had to independently book a new flight with Air Canada at an extra cost of $[redacted] to ensure I made it to Amsterdam on time for my commitments. While I was able to reach my final destination as planned, the lack of assistance and inconvenience caused by the flight delay have led me to seek compensation in accordance with the Air Passenger Protection regulations. Our WestJet flight from Heathrow to Calgary on June 24, [redacted], failed to provide the prepaid emergency exit seats for seats 26E & F as booked. We paid $92 for these seats, but a couple with a baby were seated there instead. We are seeking either a reimbursement of $92 or a travel voucher for this inconvenience. Additionally, our connecting flight from Calgary to Abbotsford was canceled, resulting in a delay in receiving our luggage for 24 hours despite filing a complaint with insurance. I canceled a WestJet flight in [redacted], and the refund was placed into my Travel Bank. Unfortunately, the funds expired during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I was unable to reach WestJet during that time. Recently, the amount of $[redacted].76 reappeared in my WestJet Rewards account but then disappeared again. I am seeking assistance to retrieve these funds as I originally paid for the ticket, and the expiration was due to circumstances beyond my control. Unfortunately, I have been unable to speak with a representative directly or reply to the email regarding the Travel Bank refund. Please help me with this matter. Thank you.

Hello, My father is currently at the airport waiting for his flight, but there seems to be an issue with his name at check-in which has caused a delay in boarding. Despite being in a wheelchair and being entitled to board first, he has been waiting for the past 4 hours with no assistance or updates on the flight's delay status. Unfortunately, he missed his flight to attend a family function. We had also booked a return flight. Please provide a full refund and investigate this matter promptly. I am disappointed with my recent travel experience. I booked a package to Las Vegas, including a 4-day stay in Vancouver. Unfortunately, my flight from YXS was delayed multiple times, ultimately being cancelled until 6:30 PM, causing me to incur additional taxi expenses and waste a whole day. Upon my return flight from Vegas to Prince George, there was no air conditioning, which affected my health due to my asthma condition. Considering I spent over $[redacted] on this trip, I believe I am entitled to compensation for the inconvenience and stress caused.

I have a reservation LHPQKX for a flight from Los Angeles to Barcelona with a layover of 1 hour and 50 minutes in Calgary. I need to know if passengers need to get off one plane and board another for the next leg to Barcelona. If we have to change planes, I would like to know the distance we need to walk within the terminal. I also need information on how to request a wheelchair if the walk is long. I have tried calling the automated customer service phone line, but have been unable to speak with a human agent to get answers to my questions.

I recently received a letter from RBC bank about an outstanding balance on my Westjet card for $39.76, mentioned as past due. I have not traveled recently or received any prior billing statements for this amount. When I visited the nearest RBC branch (Windermere) for clarification, I was informed that Westjet manages billing inquiries. Despite trying to contact Westjet by phone, the automated system only addresses flight-related queries. I have already cleared the dues and late fee but still have unresolved questions. Hello, I wanted to discuss my booking with reference TVRXLL (or ZRXAE6B with Airmiles). I reserved tickets for six passengers on a WestJet flight from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale on January 11, [redacted]. I received an email last week indicating a 'slight change' in the flight schedule. However, the changes are significant, with the flight now departing at 7:45 am instead of 11:45 am. This alteration poses an issue, especially since two of the passengers are children aged 2 and 4. Likewise, the return flight from Fort Lauderdale to Toronto was rescheduled from 3:15 pm to 6:40 pm, causing concern about spending the day with luggage before a late flight. Hello, my name is Kamla Harilall. I traveled from Toronto YYZ on July 23rd to Antigua. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in Antigua, my luggage was missing. I would appreciate any assistance in locating it as I am trying to remain patient. Please, WestJet, if you are unable to find my bag, I may have to consider taking further action. Each time I call, I receive conflicting information. My suitcase is a large pinkish-red color with three wheels, a broken side handle, and a blue tape on the top small handle. Inside, there is a coffee grinder, 20 pairs of black men's socks, coffee in a plastic bag, a pair of black and white Puma sneakers in a bag. My bag number is [redacted]. I hope someone can help me with this matter.

I am flying out of Kelowna airport tomorrow with confirmation number YFOZGV. I need assistance with arranging a wheelchair at every airport for my trip. Kelowna airport mentioned they could only organize one for Kelowna, so I am reaching out to you for the further airports. I attempted to contact your customer service but was unable to speak with a representative. I even tried the option to speak to a real person without success! Additionally, when booking through Expedia, I couldn't find the option to select my seat or pay for luggage. Should I do this now or can it be done at the airport? Thank you.

On August 31, [redacted], my spouse and I used our WestJet Air Miles to book a round-trip flight from Winnipeg, MB, to Orlando, Florida. We departed on October 23, [redacted], with WestJet's partner Delta. Our return flight from Orlando on November 6, [redacted], at 7:15 AM was unfortunately canceled without explanation. Despite checking in the day before, we missed the email about the cancellation until 3:00 AM on the day of our flight. We rebooked for November 7th at 3:01 PM via Minneapolis after a long wait at the airport and paid for meals and a taxi ourselves due to issues with vouchers. We submitted our claim, but WestJet said the information didn't match. Despite attempts to contact them and email [redacted], we haven't received a response. I would like a full refund for the four seats I booked from Calgary to London Gatwick and the return flight from Edinburgh to Calgary. I originally paid for these seats, but when departing from YYC, I was charged again. The seats from Edinburgh were not available even though we had already paid for them, leaving us stuck in the last row. I have tried multiple times to use your online service to resolve this issue, but I have been unable to speak to a representative or find a way to get my money back. This situation has been nothing but frustrating for me.

I am attempting to contact Westjet regarding changing the return leg of our flight from Maui to Toronto on Sep 12. Westjet informed us via email about an itinerary change moving the flight date earlier to Sep 11. We are hoping to modify the return departure from Honolulu on the original date rather than changing to Sep 12 from Maui. We would like to maintain the first outbound flight on Aug 31 from Toronto to Maui. Westjet mentioned exceptions for free flight changes due to the Maui wildfires, and we have Premium bookings. After being on hold for 2 hours, we were disconnected twice by the automated system.

I have a $[redacted].50 WestJet credit for J.R. LaCoste expiring on September 29, [redacted]. I tried to use it for a Regina to PV flight in December, but it was canceled. I got the credit back and now want to book a one-way flight from Victoria to Regina for September 6, [redacted]. My credit is not showing on the WestJet website, but I can see it on Expedia.ca. Can I call WestJet for assistance instead of contacting Expedia? Where did my credit disappear to on the WestJet site?

The WestJet baggage counter staff provided us with incorrect information, causing us to miss our flight despite having enough time. Even the phone agent I spoke to was unhelpful. Although one agent made efforts to assist us, they were unsuccessful. We could hear the boarding call while on the phone, and there was no security line to delay us. While I acknowledge some responsibility, I am highly dissatisfied with the overall customer service we encountered.

I have booked a flight from Amsterdam to Halifax for myself, Jacoba Van Elk, and my husband, Petrus Van Aart, with a layover in Toronto. We have about an hour and 30 minutes to transfer to WestYet to Halifax. However, we haven't received any information about the connecting flights from Toronto to Halifax and back to Toronto with WestYet. We don't have tickets, seat assignments, or a reservation code for these flights. I have paid for the entire trip and selected tickets and seats with KLM from Amsterdam to Toronto, but the details for the rest of the journey are unclear. Our flight details are as follows: departing Toronto Pearson at 15:30 on Monday, September 18, [redacted], to Halifax for WS [redacted], and returning on Sunday, September 24, from Halifax to Toronto at 19:20, arriving at Toronto Pearson at 20:44. Could you please provide more information about the additional flights with WestYet?
