Hello, I am traveling from the Philippines to Canada on September 20. I would like to inquire if it is feasible to adjust our flight from Vancouver to Yellowknife for September 21. Currently, our plan is to travel from Vancouver to Calgary upon arrival on September 20. I am the main cardholder of a Westjet Mastercard that offers 6 free bags on group bookings. I checked in online and got the 6 free checked bags, but at the airport, I had to pay for one bag that should have been free. I received a receipt and was told to file a claim for reimbursement. As a WestJet Elite Mastercard holder, I was entitled to 6 free bags on a group booking. After checking in online on September 10, [redacted], I was charged for 1 bag at the airport. The agent instructed me to seek a reimbursement from WestJet and gave me a receipt for the baggage charge. I have been attempting to contact WestJet, but I keep getting stuck in their automated system with no relevant category for this particular problem.

Dear Customer Service,
I encountered a significant issue with my Westjet Flight WS [redacted] (YYZ - LGA / October 1, [redacted]). Despite checking in online and arriving at YYZ Airport at 6:30 a.m., I was unable to print my bag tags at a self-service kiosk along with 30 other passengers. After informing two WestJet employees that our flight to LGA was departing at 9:35 a.m., we were assured we had ample time. However, as they called passengers for various flights except for Laguardia New York, we remained in line. When we reached the check-in counter, it was too late to board with our luggage, which was essential for our NYC trip. Despite the printer issue being out of our control, we were told to decide in two minutes whether to board without luggage or rebook for the next day, each incurring a $[redacted] Can fee. Given the circumstances, I kindly request a refund of the $[redacted] Can as we believe we should not be held responsible for the delay. This experience was stressful and disappointing, and I hope for your understanding and assistance in this matter.

I have been attempting to purchase WestJet Dollars for weeks but keep encountering an error message. Despite trying multiple times, the issue persists. I have attempted to contact them using various phone numbers without success. Yesterday, I received a callback and was directed to purchase online via Points.com. I emailed WestJet but have not received a response. Time is running out, and I feel frustrated by the convoluted process. Hopefully, I can make the purchase soon. I am disappointed by the difficulty and hope to find someone at the company who can assist me over the phone. Carrol S.

I am looking to discuss my refund request regarding flight delays on July 29th, [redacted]. My first request was submitted on August 3rd, and after being directed to complete an online refund form with attached receipts, I submitted it. However, as of October 10th, after lodging a formal complaint, I have yet to receive any response or the $[redacted] refund. Our Sunwing experience on Sunday, February 4, [redacted]:
Our flight was significantly delayed, causing confusion and inconvenience from the start. The request for volunteers to stay behind due to a staffing issue was handled poorly. Passengers were treated disrespectfully, with boarding passes taken and not returned, leaving us feeling stranded and penalized. Even a disabled passenger and their caregiver were separated without consideration.
The lack of professionalism and customer service was evident throughout the ordeal, as staff members, mainly young employees, struggled to provide appropriate assistance. Upon arrival at the resort, we faced further delays and found that the Elite seats we had paid extra for were no longer available, despite the necessity for health reasons.
In situations like this, demonstrating respect and empathy towards customers is crucial. Sunwing should acknowledge the inconvenience caused and compensate those affected. A respectful and customer-focused approach can make a significant difference in such circumstances.
