Since joining WW in June [redacted], I have called five times requesting a copy of my monthly receipt. Despite assurances from a previous representative that I would receive my receipts promptly via email, I have not yet received copies for September and October 10, [redacted]. This ongoing issue is frustrating, and I am considering cancelling my membership if it is not resolved soon. Immediate receipt upon program changes makes me believe that monthly charges should also prompt an instant receipt. I hope this can be rectified promptly to avoid further inconvenience.

Hello,
I recently had an issue with my WW membership renewal and wanted to share my experience. My 3-month membership ended on November 27th. Due to a misunderstanding, I believed my benefit access would automatically cease on my phone. When I called to cancel my e-tools on the 28th, I was offered a complimentary 3-month extension until February 25th for being a loyal member. However, I noticed a charge of $44.95 on my credit card bill, which caught me off guard.
When I contacted customer service again, a male representative informed me that the charge was valid and initially refused to help. He later mentioned canceling my membership but insisted on revoking the free months. This contradicted the offer made by the first representative, causing confusion and frustration. I feel misled as I was assured I would not incur any additional costs.
Given the circumstances, I kindly request a refund of the $44.95 charge. I appreciate your attention to this matter.
Thank you,
Paulette M.

Yesterday, I attended the 10:30 am meeting at University Park in Sarasota, FL, led by the Wellness Coach Pamela Y. I have been a member of WW for years and have never had a negative experience at a meeting until yesterday.
During the meeting, the coach mentioned a promotion where members can win a trip to Hawaii and meet Oprah. However, the coach's attitude suggested meeting Oprah wasn’t a big deal, saying Oprah is "not a favorite." This affected my focus, as I value a judgment-free environment during meetings. I expressed my concerns at the end of the meeting, emphasizing the importance of nonjudgmental support in our struggles with food and healthy habits.
Afterward, I found that others shared similar feelings. It's crucial for your organization to be aware of such incidents for coach education and training. Feel free to reach out for more information.
Sincerely,
Francine R. G., Ph.D.

The recent changes to the plan are disappointing. Previously, there were free points for most fruits and vegetables, which worked well. However, the new "free points" for items like eggs and beans are not as helpful. The updated interface on both the app and computer has made the whole process more complex compared to before. Furthermore, the process for stopping automatic payments post the initial agreement is not easily found on the website, requiring a phone call with unclear information provided afterward. Despite contacting customer service and verifying my account status online, it only indicated that the plan was canceled, which is not the case as I intend to keep it for the full three months. This experience has left me dissatisfied with Weight Watchers and I will not be recommending it to others.

I have been a member for over three years and never encountered any issues until today. I called to request a refund for the monthly charge. Despite attempting to input my access code for free etools incorrectly before being charged, and losing the voucher, which I thought was resolved by the studio, I was told I had done the wrong thing. Now I am being asked to acquire another monthly pass due to activating the voucher as instructed, rendering it useless. The customer service representative referred to the charged month as free, quoting a policy I am unfamiliar with. Despite trying to follow studio instructions, I was met with a lack of compassion and conflicting information from the representative. This experience has left me feeling disappointed and unsure about continuing my membership with Weight Watchers - a program I love and rely on for my well-being.

I have been a loyal member for many years. Today, I encountered an issue when I requested a refund for a recent charge as a Lifetime member. I made an error with my access code for free etools and mistakenly disposed of the voucher. Despite following the advice given by my studio, I was informed that I activated the voucher incorrectly and needed to obtain another monthly pass. The situation is challenging for me as I juggle work and kids, with the added inconvenience of my studio's limited hours. The customer service representative referred to the charged month as free under a policy I was unaware of. This conflicting information was frustrating, making me contemplate canceling my membership. While I value Weight Watchers and the positive impact it has had on my life, today's experience was disheartening. I will have to visit the studio again and contact support, a task I am not looking forward to. Despite my initial mistake, I hoped for better treatment and feel let down by this encounter with Weight Watchers.

In June [redacted], I enrolled in WW. I attempted to end my membership in October but was informed that I had to continue or face a nearly $40 early termination charge. Feeling trapped, I kept paying despite the program not working for me. Now that I finally canceled my membership, I am struggling to get a refund, which I find unfair. I have seen no results with the program and believe I deserve a refund for the months I paid. Even a partial refund would be appreciated. I am willing to return the products I received upon signing up. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly, and I can recoup some of my money since I have no intention of using WW again. Thank you.

I am reaching out regarding my grandmother, Heather M., a member of WeightWatchers Canada, who has been dedicated to the program and lost 35 pounds since July. Despite feeling great at her current weight of [redacted] pounds, she was informed her actual goal weight range is [redacted]-[redacted] pounds based solely on her height of 5'2", a weight she believes is unhealthy at nearly 78 years old. This revelation has led her to consider leaving a program she values dearly. The emphasis on achieving such a low weight seems unreasonable and unhealthy given her age and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. It is disheartening that the company fails to consider age as a significant factor in determining an appropriate goal weight. WeightWatchers should promote realistic and sustainable goals rather than setting unattainable and unhealthy standards, especially for members like my grandmother who have made commendable progress towards healthier living.

I am writing on behalf of my grandmother, Heather M., who is a member of WeightWatchers Canada. She has been dedicated to their program, enjoying the meetings, and has successfully lost 35 pounds since July, nearing her goal weight. Unfortunately, in her recent meeting, she discovered that her actual goal weight according to the company is [redacted]-[redacted] pounds based solely on her height of 5'2". At 78 years old, this weight range is unreasonably low and unhealthy for her. Despite feeling great at [redacted] pounds, she is disheartened by this new goal set for her. As a company focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle, this unrealistic target is discouraging and alienating. Age should be taken into consideration when setting these weight goals. It's disheartening that WeightWatchers Canada is endorsing such unhealthy and unattainable weight standards.

I attended a WW meeting last on November [redacted] and tried to cancel my membership. Instead, they put me on a hiatus until March [redacted], but I was unexpectedly billed in February. When I called to cancel again due to overdraft fees on my account, they refused to credit me. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford these fees until I receive my disability check. Please contact WW to request a credit to my account. Thank you, Marie F.

Hello. I recently realized that my husband's membership fee is still being charged even though I cancelled it about 8 months ago. Due to personal circumstances, I was unable to utilize the membership for a few months but never heard back about extending it. Given the significant challenges my family has faced with multiple deaths and natural disasters in our area, I would like to either have the unused time credited or have the charges refunded. With road closures and limited access to meeting locations due to recent storms and fires, it has been difficult to attend. I hope either my membership can be extended for the unused months once normal access is restored or my husband's credit card can be refunded for the period I was not aware of the ongoing charges. Please contact me at [redacted] if further discussion is necessary. Thank you for your attention. - Jeannine Charles-Stigall

I visited the WW Studio in Highland Hills on March 6, [redacted]. The class was led by Wendy W. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. I was met with resistance when trying to pay with my debit card as they only accepted credit cards for their 3-month plan. This new policy was surprising to me, and it made me feel unwelcome. Despite being allowed to sit in on the class with my sister-in-law, the overall atmosphere was not inspiring. I expressed my concerns to Wendy and will be looking for another meeting to attend. I would appreciate clarification on the payment policy and fee structure, as well as whether weekly payments are an option.

As a lifetime member within my weight goal, I was charged on my VISA account on March 5, [redacted], even though I have the entire month of March left to weigh in. I suspect that my weight from February might not have been entered in the system, but I have proof of my weight. After waiting 10 minutes for assistance, they agreed to refund my money. However, to maintain my lifetime membership status, I now need to obtain and use a voucher on the website, a new requirement that was not in place before. I prefer the old system of simply weighing in once a month without using the app or dealing with vouchers. I tried to escalate the issue to a supervisor, but my call got disconnected.

My login is LCFCp1. When I click on "My Food" without adding an item, it usually displays a list of all my saved information. I track my daily points total for each day, allowing me to review what I ate on the same day last week. However, this feature has suddenly stopped working. Previously, if I input "Thu," it would show a list of Thursdays in saved date order. Now, when I input "thu" to see what I ate last week, it says, "We couldn't find a result for that. Please try again." The issue seems to have arisen on Monday, the 1st of April. Although I've been saving my daily total using "create meal," the search function is only displaying information for this week, not previous weeks. While it seems like my history has disappeared, it's actually accessible when I view "My Food" without inputting an item. I hope I've clarified my issue well. I attempted to use tech chat but got disconnected before explaining. Extending the tech chat support may avoid the need for emails in the future.

In January [redacted], I participated in a three-month promotion with Weight Watchers through my job. Despite signing up, I was unable to access the app and presumed my registration was unsuccessful. Over the course of 15 months, between January [redacted] and April [redacted], a total of $[redacted].18 was deducted from my account at a rate of $21.72 per month. Following a conversation with customer service, I was refunded $[redacted].32, but this amount is insufficient as it does not cover the entire sum mistakenly deducted. The issue was not due to non-usage on my part, but rather a technical glitch preventing me from accessing the app after signing up. Despite this, Weight Watchers continued to deduct the monthly fee. Given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund of $[redacted].18, as I was unable to benefit from the service due to the technical difficulties encountered.

I never managed to access the app after signing up, assuming I wasn't registered. Over the period January [redacted] to April [redacted], $21.72 was deducted from my account each month, totaling $[redacted].18. Despite receiving a refund of $[redacted].32, it falls short of reimbursing the entire amount withdrawn. The app or system glitch prevented me from using the service, yet payments continued. I believe a full refund is warranted given the circumstances as I didn't benefit from the subscription but funds were deducted regularly.

I am Benjamin Troia, an 89-year-old individual. I signed up for Weight Watchers on Friday, April 12, [redacted], but decided to quit on Friday, April 19, [redacted], after attending only one session without making any purchases. I paid Sandy $91.00 and was told there would be a $20.00 restocking fee, resulting in a refund of $71.00 with $44.95 not being returned. I find the total charge of $[redacted].95 for one session to be unacceptable. I hope this situation can be resolved fairly. My decision to leave Weight Watchers was influenced by my spouse, who is 20 years younger and prefers dining out rather than cooking, making it challenging to focus on dietary concerns. In order to maintain a harmonious relationship, I felt it necessary to discontinue the program.

I enrolled through my employer on April 15, [redacted]. I remember seeing something about a starter pack and thought the little booklet I received at my first workshop was it. I convinced my boss, Fr. John Ozella, to sign up on April 16. It took us a while to update our insurance questionnaire and register with WW together today after seeking help from WW customer service for him to complete the form mentioning a Starter Kit. To my disappointment, upon checking the details, I realized that there were free gifts available for those who signed up between April 21 and May. I even informed Nancy at the Diocese of Pueblo office, who is in HR, about how thankful I was to join for free. She hadn't signed up yet. I am reaching out to kindly request if it is possible to still receive the starter kit even though I signed up before the specified dates. I am thrilled with the program, having lost 4.8 lbs in my first week and also purchased 5 boxes of 2 point snacks for our office to combat the donut temptations. It appears that those joining later from the Diocese will receive this lovely starter kit, making me regret not waiting. I hope you can consider my request. Thank you. Mary Meissner. Ref. No. [redacted]77. Monthly Pass No. W[redacted]1.

I have been a loyal member for more than 20 years, previously enjoying everything about the program. I plan to publish my journal to document my learnings and the support I received on my wellness journey from others. Initially, I weighed [redacted] pounds with severe health issues. Currently, my weight fluctuates around [redacted] pounds after a gradual and manageable progress with the program. Recently, there have been significant changes in the program. I now find the meetings uncomfortable, filled with tense individuals and deep emotional discussions that I struggle to connect with. Meetings used to be more about guidance and support, not guilt-tripping. It seems like the changes coincided with branding updates and team restructuring. I miss the old program and the sense of community it had. Observing the decline in your stock value, I wonder if others share my sentiments. I prefer sharing success stories rather than dwelling on negativity. - Annika M.

I am disappointed to see WW promoting the homosexual agenda instead of focusing on weight loss and healthy living. The decision to change the Facebook logo to a rainbow and post about it has led me to cancel my membership. Showing equality to one group while ignoring others feels like inequality to me. As a result, I must follow my beliefs and part ways with WW.
