To the relevant party, recently, I fell victim to a fraudulent investment scheme. I initially invested a significant sum but soon realized additional funds were being requested. On 22/09/[redacted], I discovered the likely scam. When I inquired about a refund, I was asked to pay more before receiving any money back. Subsequently, the scammers stopped communicating. I possess screenshots of all transactions, including the QR codes for WeChat payments and the fraudsters' bank information. My bank couldn't assist much as the payments were through WeChat. They suggested contacting WeChat and involving the police. I am ready to provide all the evidence I have when needed.

Good morning, I am currently experiencing difficulties with managing payments through WeChat Pay. A few years back, I linked a debit card from my Italian bank (Mediolanum). Unfortunately, this card has since expired and is no longer valid. I am attempting to update my payment method by adding my new card, which has the same card number but a different expiration date. However, I cannot recall the 6-digit identification code associated with the old card. When trying to use the "forgotten password" feature, it prompts me to enter details of the old card, which is not feasible due to its expiration. Additionally, when attempting to resolve the issue by submitting ID information, including photos of the card and my phone number, I am informed that the phone number provided is incorrect. I am currently at an impasse. Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?

Good afternoon, sir. I have a blocked WeChat account that shows "protected" status due to long inactivity. It has been over 6 months since I last accessed it. Initially, I created the account out of curiosity and did not use it. Now, I am learning Mandarin Chinese and need to unblock it as natives ask for my WeChat to practice. I cannot recall the password or ID, only my linked phone number: +51 [redacted]66.

Hello, my name is Jaryn Shumaker, and I created my WeChat account in [redacted] while studying in Korea. Since returning to the United States, I have been unable to regain access to my account. The issue lies in the fact that I used a Korean phone number to set it up, which I no longer have. Despite knowing my WeChat ID, password, and email, all attempts to recover the account have failed. I have not received the email verification link, and I do not have a QQ account or an emergency contact associated with the account. Due to the outdated Korean phone number on file, I am locked out of the account, which is essential for both school and keeping in touch with friends in China. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this matter.

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message reaches you in good health. Recently, my passport expired, which is linked to my WeChat account for real-time verification. I have since received a new passport with a different passport number. I am looking to link my bank account with my WeChat, but there is a discrepancy as the passport number in my bank account is the new one, while my WeChat account still shows the old passport number. Could you please advise me on how to update my passport number on WeChat to connect it to my bank account? Thank you for your assistance.

I have an Infinix Note 5 that I purchased on October 8th. Recently, I tried using WeChat after not using it for over a month. However, I forgot my password and tried to reset it using the SMS verification method. After entering the verification code, the app's screen went blank and returned to the initial page. I attempted to create a new account, but encountered the same issue after accepting the privacy policy. I urgently need to start using WeChat, especially for communication with suppliers in China who do not use WhatsApp.

Recently, my WeChat app has been giving me trouble. Upon opening the app, it gets stuck on the logo screen for an extended period without progressing to the messages page. This issue has occurred repeatedly, forcing me to continuously restart my phone to resolve it. I find this situation frustrating and inconvenient. Can you please address and resolve this app malfunction promptly by updating the system? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Sirs, I need assistance. I am a Ukrainian citizen currently residing in mainland China and have been a Wechat user for many years. Recently, I renewed my passport, and while all my data remained the same, my passport number changed. Consequently, I updated my passport information with the bank. Since then, I have encountered difficulties making payments on Wechat. I removed my bank card intending to re-enter it, but the program is rejecting it due to a mismatch between the passport numbers registered on Wechat and at the bank. How can I update my Wechat registration data to reflect my new passport number? Thank you.

I haven't used my WeChat account for a while. Recently, when I tried to log in using SMS verification, I encountered an issue when verifying my identity, where the process kept loading for hours without progress. Upon trying to enter a password I remembered, I received a message stating my account was in a protected state due to prolonged inactivity and needed to be reactivated. Following the steps, I accepted the terms to remove protection, but when trying to reactivate the account, the screen continued to load indefinitely. Additionally, attempting to create a new account using my phone number was unsuccessful as it was already linked to an existing account.

I have been using WeChat on my Samsung Android phone for over two years. I recently got logged out and can't remember my account details. I only have my phone number to log back in, but none of the alternate methods on the login page are working for me. I have tried reaching out to WeChat for help but haven't received a response. It seems like my mobile number is linked to my account, but without my password or WeChat ID, I'm unable to access my account. I need WeChat to help me reset my password. My email address that may have been associated with the account is no longer active.

My account has been blocked due to alleged sexual harassment which I don't understand. I've been trying for 8 months to unlock it by either remembering my account details or having my friend from China help with the verification process, but it keeps failing. I'm not sure if my account can be deleted to release my phone number. I need my account back urgently for work. I typically log in with my phone number and password, without remembering my username or email. Unfortunately, the system rejects my Chinese friend's verification help, claiming she is not connected to me. My phone number is +57 [redacted], and I reside in Colombia.

Last year, someone approached me on WeChat to invest in a trading service called 'MT4.' Despite my suspicions, I engaged with them briefly before realizing their intentions and eventually ending the conversation abruptly. After exchanging inappropriate messages, my account got suspended, presumably due to a report of misconduct. Since then, I've been unable to access my account, mainly used for language exchanges. I attempted to unblock it through acquaintances, but the process failed each time, either after sending a verification code or trying to seek help from the WeChat support team. Despite several attempts, the block persisted, and I now find myself out of options for resolving this issue.

I am dealing with a situation where my former girlfriend has blocked me on WeChat after failing to repay money she borrowed from me. We had an agreement in place, but she is now avoiding her responsibility. Her WeChat ID is QF9999Y, although she may have changed it. Her phone number is +86 [redacted] [redacted], and her email is [redacted] I am seeking advice on how to address this matter legally as the situation has escalated to what I believe is theft. I am not sure of her exact location, but she frequents the Chaoyang district in Beijing, and her family is said to be from Baotou. Obtaining her mother's phone number to reach out through WeChat could also assist in resolving this issue. Her mother's ID is wxid_q48qwj5s246w22, but unfortunately, it does not yield any search results. Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently updated my linked phone number to one from China Mainland a few days ago. Subsequently, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. However, upon logging in, I received an error stating that I had logged in too frequently, resulting in a 3-day block. After the waiting period, I tried to log in again, but encountered repeated failures to load with a prompt suggesting possible hacking, despite all actions being my own. The app then repeatedly asks me to wait for another 3 days. Despite several attempts of reinstalling, the issue persists. I would appreciate your assistance with this matter.

I signed out of WeChat on my phone to use Trip.com on another device. I couldn't pay with WeChat there, so I logged back in on my phone and used the Travelgo feature to book and pay for my flight. After the purchase, I had to fill out an ID verification form. It was supposed to take 24 hours to process, but it has been longer, and my WeChat Pay is still restricted due to suspicious activity. Please lift the restrictions.

My account is currently blocked, and I am encountering issues with the final step of the unblocking process which involves the SMS verification code. I recently registered a US account with WeChat, and my email address is not yet linked, potentially causing hindrances in resolving this issue. The blocking occurred while I was exploring the web version of WeChat and simultaneously using the iOS app. It's possible that I unintentionally exceeded the login attempts. During the unblocking process, the final step requiring me to send a designated SMS message to +[redacted]4 is unsuccessful. Although the messages show as sent from my phone's SMS app, WeChat responds with "Unable to receive SMS verification code." I have checked for any blocks on the number, verified that my phone service and SMS function correctly, and followed troubleshooting guides to no avail.

As a senior college student at Harvard University, my name is Fay Huo. Unfortunately, my WeChat account with the ID fei555321 was recently blocked without any prior violation of terms. I was using it to assist my non-Chinese speaking friend, Linda, in finding sublease housing in NYC for the summer. By posting inquiries in group chats and contacting real estate agents and individuals with available apartments, I had no intention of engaging in malicious activities. The block message did not indicate any fraudulent behavior. I am eager to collaborate with your team to investigate this matter and regain access to my account. It holds the sole connections to my childhood friends and family in China, making it crucial for me to retrieve it. Losing it would mean losing contact with them permanently, so I am hopeful for a positive resolution with your assistance. I look forward to your guidance on the next steps, and I appreciate any help provided.

I have recently downloaded the WeChat and Tencent apps, but I am unable to locate the Tencent app on my phone. When trying to access WeChat, I encountered issues with the verification process as it requested SMS/email address and a code. After multiple failed attempts, I tried to contact WeChat via email for assistance, but did not receive a response. I have the apps on my phone and a tablet, and faced similar problems when in China. I seek guidance on resolving this issue from WeChat. Additionally, I would like to know how to register on WhatsApp using my phone number: +1 [redacted]. -Robert K. Colorado
