My card got blocked suddenly with $[redacted].00 in my account, and they're requesting a copy of my Driver’s License. I sent it, but they couldn't verify it and now they say my card is unusable. I can't get another card or open a new account, but my available balance is still showing. I've tried multiple numbers, but only reaching automated services. This is my rent money, so I need urgent help. If I don't get a response today, I'll contact the News and the Better Business Bureau as well.

I requested a refund for a $[redacted] Walmart card in August [redacted]. Initially, I was given a reference number for the refund check and told to wait 2 weeks for its arrival. However, it never showed up. After contacting them again in the third week, they mentioned an address issue, processed a new check, and issued a new reference number, but the second check also failed to arrive. I called again on December 9th, providing reference number [redacted]1, and was informed to wait another 2 weeks for the check, which once again did not come. I followed up today to inquire about the refund status, only to be told they couldn't verify my account due to name mismatch with the last 4 digits of my SSN. Despite providing the correct SSN throughout all my calls, customer service is now stating they can't help if they can't verify my information. I've been struggling with this for 4 months now, and the lack of assistance is extremely frustrating.

I recently received a direct deposit of $[redacted].52 onto my Walmart MoneyCard, but it is now frozen until they send me a new card in three business days. I am on vacation in California from Kansas and now I cannot access my funds for possibly five days, considering it is Wednesday. This situation is causing major inconvenience as I have been planning this vacation for three years for my children and me. The customer service representatives seem unconcerned about our situation, as we may be homeless tomorrow if I cannot pay the hotel bill due to the blocked card. Our vacation has been completely ruined, and all they can offer is to send a new card in three business days.

My paycheck of $[redacted].28 was direct deposited on my card, but it's blocked. I'm in California on vacation and need access to my money. Walmart said I must wait three days for a new card, which is unacceptable. My family and I are at risk of being homeless with our hotel booking ending tomorrow at noon. They haven't explained why my account is blocked or provided any solutions other than ordering a new card. I need my account closed and immediate access to my hard-earned money. This situation has caused us financial hardship, embarrassment, stress, and suffering. I want this resolved urgently.

In September [redacted], I attempted to add $[redacted] to my boyfriend's Telmate inmate account for food but mistakenly added it to the wrong account. Telmate mentioned a one-time cancellation, promising to return the money to my card within a month. Sadly, the $[redacted] hasn't been refunded. During my interactions with Telmate employees, I felt distressed and unheard, facing contradictory information and a lack of resolution. Now, they suggest contacting my card issuer, contradicting their previous statements about sending a check. The ongoing situation is frustrating, and I simply seek the return of my $[redacted] without further delay. I am at a loss and urgently request assistance to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you. -- Brook

I received a Walmart MoneyCard a few months back, but my permanent card never arrived. Customer service was unable to explain why it was returned. I had set up direct deposit, and without a new card, I couldn't access my funds. When I inquired about opening a second account, I was advised my temporary card would remain valid. However, today when I tried to access my account to deposit an urgent check due to a family crisis, I found it blocked. I was shocked to learn I can't access or withdraw funds until a new card arrives, despite being assured otherwise. This has left me without the means to address my emergency or even buy food or gas. The call ended abruptly, leaving me deeply upset and in a dire situation.

I have been experiencing an ongoing issue with my MasterCard debit card from Walmart over the past 8 months. My card with the number 5[redacted]-0[redacted] and expiration date of 12/20 suddenly stopped working in April [redacted]. Despite trying to upload my driver's license for verification multiple times without success, I also faced unhelpful automated service and even a hang-up from a corporate office representative. When attempting to activate the card online, the system now claims the number has not been issued, causing concern about my funds. I am requesting the return of $[redacted] with the choice of unblocking the card for immediate use, an electronic bank deposit, or a mailed bank check for convenience. Thank you.

Regarding my Walmart Money Card experience, I have been a satisfied customer for over a year with direct deposits. Recently, I noticed an unfamiliar $[redacted] charge from Microsoft. Despite not wanting to risk losing access to my funds, I contacted customer service to dispute the charge. However, after the call, my account was closed due to a compromised account number. Now I have to wait 2-3 weeks for a refund check, leaving me unable to access my funds. Dealing with unprofessional and disrespectful customer service representatives has been frustrating, requiring me to spend an entire day on hold without a resolution. I am seeking assistance to expedite the return of my funds, given the circumstances caused by the actions of the representatives involved.

I have been a Walmart Money Card holder for over a year with a good standing account and regular direct deposits. Recently, I noticed an unauthorized transaction by Microsoft, which prompted me to contact customer service. Despite requesting no dispute to avoid disruptions in accessing my funds, my account was unexpectedly closed due to a compromised account number. Now, I am faced with a waiting period of *-* weeks for a refund check, leaving me frustrated and financially strained. The unprofessional handling of my situation by the customer service representatives has caused me distress, as I struggle to provide for my family and meet essential expenses. I seek a resolution to this issue promptly and hope for accountability among the representatives involved in mishandling my case.

I recently purchased a MoneyCard from Walmart for my husband and myself to receive our paychecks via direct deposit, as required by his employer. Despite the convenience of this method, we encountered an issue. The card advertises getting funds two days faster, but upon receiving a direct deposit notification, we couldn't access the money. Customer service explained that the account was locked because the deposit was made using a temporary card. This is puzzling since the only way to initially use the card is with the temporary one. Obtaining a personalized card seems impossible without first buying and loading the temporary one. The lack of clarity on this matter is frustrating. I attempted to reach out to customer service for assistance but was met with long hold times and unavailability of supervisors. Accessing the account online also proved futile. I am frustrated and seeking a swift resolution or contact information for the corporate office.

I recently purchased a MoneyCard for my husband and myself for our paychecks to be directly deposited. Walmart promotes the card as a way to get money faster. However, when my husband tried to access his direct deposit, his account was locked because the direct deposit was made using a temporary card. Despite the card packaging and promotion encouraging direct deposit on the temporary card, it seems you need a personalized card to access the funds. I called customer service twice and waited over 45 minutes each time without speaking to a supervisor. I am frustrated and need this resolved or contact information for the corporate office. This issue needs to be fixed promptly as we are unable to transfer funds or access our money.

I have an account with Walmart Money Card Services and have experienced unauthorized transactions following two direct deposits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Despite being promised a provisional credit by January 23, [redacted], I encountered issues getting my money back. On January 17, a credit from Priceline was mistakenly taken back by Walmart. I was instructed to fill out a dispute form online or via the app, but I was unable to find the form as directed, causing delays in the process. I faced further obstacles trying to email the form, and upon contacting customer service again, I was informed that my money would not be returned for 45 days. I provided a list of disputed transactions, my contact information, and requested clarification as to why Walmart was withholding my funds when the merchants had already refunded me. I am seeking resolution and hope to expedite the return of my money promptly. Thank you.

I recently returned from a Carnival cruise and encountered an issue with holds on my money card. Carnival debited $[redacted] at the end of the trip, which caused my card to be overdrawn due to 7 remaining holds. Despite Carnival receiving their payment, I am unable to access my funds. After contacting Carnival for assistance, they advised me to obtain a fax number or email from Wal-Mart Money card to release the holds. However, my attempts to communicate with Wal-Mart Money card have been unsuccessful as I am directed back to Carnival. This situation is causing me significant frustration as I am unable to even purchase gas for my car. Any advice or guidance on resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

While attempting to access the app, I received a notification that my account had been locked. The message instructed me to log in via the website, where I was prompted to provide photos of the front and back of my ID. Following the submission of the images, I was informed that the company would evaluate them and contact me within two business days regarding their decision. Although there is approximately $94 on my Walmart MoneyCard, they were unable to confirm my ID, resulting in the closure of my account and deactivation of the card. Consequently, I am unable to obtain another card from the bank, leaving my funds inaccessible. I am eager to retrieve my nearly $[redacted] from Walmart MoneyCard as I believe it is unjust for them to withhold my money without proper verification of my ID.

I purchased a $[redacted] Visa gift card from WalMart, along with a $20 one, both of which have been frozen due to a recent purchase. Despite providing payment for the cards, they are still frozen. I have submitted my driver's license multiple times, receiving a successful confirmation each time. However, when contacting customer service, my cards remain frozen. This situation has become frustrating as none of my friends are experiencing similar issues. I have been diligently submitting my driver's license for the past three days, yet my cards are still frozen. I urge you to unfreeze my cards promptly as I need to make holiday purchases and settle outstanding bills to avoid late fees. Please resolve this matter promptly.

I recently noticed a charge on my Wal-Mart prepaid card for over $[redacted]. No one else has access to my card and pin, so I'm puzzled as to how this could have happened. The response from their customer service was dismissive, stating the transaction was valid without clear evidence. Despite promptly disputing the charge and providing relevant details, they concluded the charge must stay on my account. I find this lack of protection and hasty decision-making disconcerting. Even after canceling both my temporary and permanent cards due to this issue, I have yet to see the funds returned. As I seek to resolve this matter and reclaim my $[redacted], I ponder the incongruity in their responses and the lack of consideration for my situation. It is disappointing to experience this level of customer service from a company I trusted with my financial transactions.

I recently discovered an unauthorized charge on my brand new Wal-Mart prepaid card for over $[redacted]. It's concerning because I am the only one who has access to my card and pin. I am disappointed by the lack of protection provided to card users and am frustrated by the quick and unprofessional response I received after contacting them via email. They stated the charge was valid without providing adequate explanation or evidence to support their decision. I feel let down by their lack of thorough investigation. I believe they should offer better security measures. It's disheartening to be treated like a criminal instead of a victim in this situation. I am unsure of the next steps to dispute their inaccurate conclusion.

I am unable to access my online Walmart MoneyCard information. I have updated my phone number, but my email address remains the same. When trying to get a verification code sent to my email, I do not receive it. I contacted support, but they advised me to reach out to my email provider, even though I can receive other emails correctly. I would appreciate verifying my identity over the phone or receiving the code as originally promised to access my information.

I used our card on a cruise which turned out to be a bad idea. When I got home, Carnival processed the payment, and I now find myself $[redacted] in the negatives due to holds on my account. I contacted Carnival, and they are willing to send the form to release the holds but require a fax or email address. Walmart Money Card support initially claimed this contact information didn't exist, although a staff member said it did. When I called Carnival again, they mentioned they have handled similar situations before, sometimes with just a phone number. I need this matter resolved promptly.

I used the mobile app to deposit my payroll check, but there was no verification after I submitted the back of the check. I am now stuck waiting for up to 7 days to access my funds. This delay is causing me significant hardship, as I am unable to purchase a bus pass or buy food, putting my job at risk and potentially leaving me homeless. I have contacted customer service multiple times without a resolution. I urgently need someone from the corporate office to reach out to me at [redacted].
