Since September, we have been attempting to transfer the vehicle title to our daughter, who now owns the car. Despite her sending the necessary paperwork to Richmond, it was initially returned due to a missing signature. After promptly signing and resending it, it's now March and we are still without the updated title. Upon visiting our local Virginia Beach office, where prior appointments were necessary, they couldn't find any record of the title there, directing us back to Richmond for assistance. Unfortunately, Richmond's lack of a call-back system or queue makes it challenging to resolve the issue promptly. Our daughter is currently using an unregistered vehicle, and we are eager to find a solution. We are fully prepared to provide all required information, including the original title, to address this matter efficiently.

I am inquiring about the documents required for my driver's license appointment. I recently got out of prison and my only photo ID is my prison ID card. For identification, could I bring my social security card and birth certificate? I have an official piece of mail as proof of address. My appointment is scheduled for Tuesday, 3/16/[redacted], at 9:30 am, and I want to make sure I have the necessary documents. Additionally, I have my expired driver's license. As I currently do not own a car, I am wondering if I need to retake the road test or if I can only take the written and vision tests. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently discovered that the decals from both my front and back license plates have been stolen. I'm unable to reach anyone by phone or online for assistance, and the website doesn't offer a way to replace the decals. The system won't allow me to renew my registration yet as it's too soon. The earliest appointment available at the Chesapeake DMV is June 15, [redacted]. I am hoping to have the '21 decals mailed to me as I am already paid up through October [redacted]. Despite realizing that you are not affiliated with the DMV, I am reaching out for any possible assistance after spending nearly two days trying to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I am highly interested in a car for sale in Kansas City, but the price seems too good to be true. I requested a photo of the current title from the owner but haven't received one yet. To ease my concerns, I paid for a VIN check and while no negative reports came up, I remain cautious about making a purchase. The VIN report indicated a recent title record with VDMV on 3/23/[redacted], VIN #[redacted][redacted], but lacked detailed information. It also mentioned a sales record from Napoli KIA in Milford, CT on 11/30/[redacted], but they had no recollection of the [redacted] Corvette convertible. I am eager to ensure I am dealing with the legitimate owner before proceeding with the purchase. Please share any relevant information promptly. Thank you. - JT

I am seeking guidance on how to update records to remove a particular vehicle. The VIN is 3FAFP06Z76R145983, a [redacted] Ford Fusion we sold on Oct 26, [redacted]. Due to an oversight, the updated registration was not sent to you, and it seems the buyer did not register it either. This has led to ongoing issues with Ford sending airbag safety recall notices. Ford claims their third-party contractor receives data from the DMV, causing them to persist in sending notices until this vehicle is removed from your records. Although we have not insured the car since Oct 26, [redacted], as required in VA, no fees have been levied, suggesting it may not be linked to our account. However, Ford insists it is, triggering these recurring notifications. Your assistance in rectifying this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am seeking assistance with my current situation. While working on my tax documents last night, I discovered that my license was suspended because the Tahoe registered under my name no longer has insurance coverage. I terminated the insurance on June 1, [redacted], after the vehicle experienced mechanical issues requiring a new motor, which it presently awaits at the auto shop since June. I was unaware of the requirement to return the plates to the DMV, leading to a $[redacted] noncompliance charge that I cannot pay. I have reinstated my license by paying $[redacted]. Would it be possible for any assistance in addressing the $[redacted] fee? My insurance company can verify the cancelation in June [redacted], and the auto shop can confirm the vehicle's status. Regrettably, I do not have the means to cover this expense presently. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a car in Maryland back in March and received the title in late April [redacted]. I sent the necessary paperwork in early May via registered mail to the DMV, but it has been over a month, and I haven't received any updates. My temporary tags have expired, so I've been borrowing a car due to the delay in processing my registration. Attempting to reach the DMV has been challenging with long wait times for phone calls and appointments scheduled weeks in advance. I believe the state should streamline the process by allowing for temporary tags to be issued via email or on their website. Citizens should have easier access to contact the DMV for updates and assistance.

I have applied to renew my HazMat endorsement for my Class A license, and it's been several months with no sign of the new one arriving. This delay is impacting my ability to work and is urgent for me. I would like to know if my license has been sent out. To resolve this issue, I need confirmation of whether the license was indeed sent, and if it was sent more than 10 days ago, information on whether it was lost or returned so it can be resent. The current situation with the license delivery is concerning, and I am eager for a resolution. My VA License # T[redacted]9

I am a United States Army employee involved in the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) program, which collaborates with all 50 states and territories. Our system integrates the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and state-specific National Criminal Information Center programs to swiftly scan driver's licenses. This allows us to verify the validity of presented identification and instantly check for any criminal history, ensuring individuals with felony or sexual convictions are not granted entry. Currently, I am seeking the State of Virginia's assistance in obtaining two sample Virginia driver's licenses for testing purposes on behalf of the AIE program.

On June 17, [redacted], I underwent a driver evaluation where it was recommended that I be tested to determine if I could continue driving. The evaluator suggested that I should only drive within a 20-mile radius from my home. Following this, I received forms from the DMV for my eye doctor and primary care physician which needed to be returned by June 17, [redacted], to avoid immediate license suspension. I visited Dr. Michael Paine at St. Francis Family Medical Practice on Hull St RD [redacted] on June 14, [redacted], and he completed both forms, assuring me that he would fax them by the deadline. However, the DMV did not receive the forms and I discovered my license was suspended when checking my online account. After contacting the DMV, it was confirmed that my license was suspended due to the missing paperwork. Despite the doctor's office faxing the forms multiple times to different DMV fax numbers, the DMV claims they have no record of receiving them. They now state my license is not suspended but have not informed me of any scheduled tests or provided further instructions. I am unsure of the next steps and seek guidance on how to resolve this matter and improve communication with the DMV. Thank you. -William Minor DuBose [redacted] Wynn Lane Apt [redacted] Midlothian Virginia [redacted]

There seems to be some confusion in Bella's account of her work history at Leggett & Platt. It appears that there are discrepancies in the recollection of colleagues and events from the past. Bella recalls Dennis Clark differently now, suggesting he engaged in inappropriate behavior at work. The interactions between coworkers, including Bulldog Woman, appear to be complicated with underlying tensions. It's clear that there is a lot of animosity and gossip circulating among these individuals. Bella seems to have moved on from this drama, recognizing the toxicity and falsehoods being spread. It's best to steer clear of this online drama and focus on more positive interactions.

I have a question regarding the CSMA-19 form that both a student and parent need to complete for a road skills test. The form states that the permit holder must always be accompanied by a licensed driver authorized under Va. Code 46.2-[redacted]. What happens if unintentionally, the permit holder drove alone once and unknowingly broke this rule? Would this mistake prevent them from completing the form and getting their license? If they submitted the form without realizing the error but later discovered it, are there any legal implications? Should the driver report this to the relevant authority?

I recently sent in my renewal registration as I have done before, but the DMV returned my money order stating I owe taxes, which is incorrect. I already pay city and county taxes in Virginia, so I believe this is a mistake. Now my plates are expired, the inspection is due, and I cannot afford the extra $5 to walk into the DMV. I am left without transportation because I did not receive my stickers. This situation is a major inconvenience as I am on a limited budget. I have a heart appointment this Friday, and I am concerned about driving illegally and receiving fines I cannot pay. I need the DMV to provide a return envelope with prepaid postage so I can resend the money order for my stickers. I am unwilling to pay any additional fees as this is the DMV's error, not mine. Thank you, Tina Dawn Mathews Blye.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to address an issue I have encountered while attempting the DMV Knowledge test. Despite providing the necessary medical information from my doctors and understanding the Driver Rehabilitation process, I have been unable to pass the tests, including the three Knowledge tests. I paid for driving rehab as required, yet the test answers did not align with the materials provided for study. As a person with a disability, I believe I am being unfairly targeted as the answers provided were not conducive to passing the test. I urge you to investigate this matter and ensure that individuals like myself are not disadvantaged during the testing process. I have diligently completed all the required medical and driver rehabilitation steps, and I believe it is crucial to address the discrepancies in the test answers. I hope that this issue is not a standard practice within the DMV and request a thorough examination of my concerns regarding the accuracy of the test content. Sincerely, Christina Guy
