I am struggling with logging into my Viber account. It was active and working well just a few days ago. I have been experiencing issues with the Viber app for the last two days. Initially, it stopped connecting calls and displayed a "Call failed" error. Despite following the help desk's advice to clear cache and restart, and even clearing the app data and signing in again, I encountered a new problem. I was unable to sign in with my phone number and received an "Activation failed" error.
Upon contacting support multiple times, I received an automated response stating that my number had been blocked on Viber due to being reported for spam or unusual activity and cannot be unblocked. However, my provider, Telekom, confirmed that there are no irregularities with my number.
As a result, I am requesting assistance in unblocking my number as soon as possible.

Hello, I have an issue. I bought a new phone, downloaded Viber on it, and it's linked to the same number as before, which has not changed. When I try to log in, I am prompted that I should receive an SMS with a code, BUT IT IS NOT COMING!!! I switched to a call option to receive the code, but NO ONE IS CALLING!!!! I tried to reach out to the technical support within the app, but it seems to be malfunctioning, so I had to contact them through the Safari browser! My work relies on Viber, and I urgently need it. Please help.

My Viber account and number have been blocked, and I am unsure why. I have been a loyal user for years on my Samsung Galaxy J5. Unfortunately, my phone broke and I had to replace it with a new Samsung Galaxy A13. Despite trying to update and reinstall the Viber app, it did not carry over all my data from the old phone. I attempted to switch my Viber account to another phone without success. When trying to revert to my original device and re-register my phone number for confirmation, I encountered difficulty sending messages. As a misguided solution, I uninstalled the app, only to realize it was a mistake. Reinstalling it proved challenging as I now encounter an activation failure message. My account seems to have been flagged as spam. I rely on my Viber account for work conversations and transactions. Restoring access is crucial.

I just discovered that someone has taken my phone number (+44 [redacted]) to create a Viber account without my permission. Upon my sister logging into her Viber account, she noticed a man using my number. I am the rightful owner of this number, registered with giffgaff. I kindly request to have the account terminated or deactivated due to unauthorized use, causing me to receive unwanted calls and messages from strangers. После повторной установки Вайбера на старый телефон и создания резервной копии, переставил приложение на новый телефон, но чаты с историей не появились. В процессе была ошибка активации, и мой номер был заблокирован. В настоящее время могу получать сообщения, но не могу отправлять. Жду инструкций по активации моего номера на новом телефоне для возможности отправки сообщений. Обращался в службу поддержки, но ответа пока не получил, принимал только автоматические уведомления. My Viber number was blocked (+[redacted]8) allegedly due to unusual activity/messages as a source of increased activity, but!!! THERE WAS NO ACTIVITY FROM MY NUMBER!!!!! You can check this - there were no calls or messages from my number. You made a mistake! Unblock Viber. Check, nothing was sent out!!! Why was I blocked?! There is probably some glitch on your end.

Hello! I registered a Vibere number yesterday and messaged 5 friends. Only four received the message, and the fifth friend had the spinning clock issue. I reached out to my friends to share my number and facilitate communication. I am surprised by these technical difficulties because Viber is supposed to be a communication platform. I haven't encountered similar problems with WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Wechat, and other messengers - only Viber consistently presents issues. Even when I reply to specific messages, the bot sometimes flags it as suspicious activity. How can it not be if I am actively engaging in conversations? Hello, I need help with activating Viber Desktop. I am currently using an older operating system, MAC OS X v. 10.10.5, and have Viber Desktop v. 9.5.0 installed. I used to have Viber on my computer, but after reloading Windows 10, I lost it. I am trying to reinstall it, and have made some progress. However, I'm stuck at the step where I received the "Secret identification key" and sent it to myself. The instructions then mention opening a key displayed as a link, but I'm not sure where to find this key or link on my mobile device.
