While playing Rust, I suddenly received a VAC ban. I am certain this ban is a mistake, and I am eager to understand the reason behind it and receive evidence supporting the ban. I have thoroughly reviewed the terms of service, the Valve FAQ, and submitted a ticket to Steam Support. Despite being informed that submitting a ticket will not be helpful due to automated responses, I am aware that VAC bans have been lifted in the past for wrongful bans. I did not engage in cheating; the only unusual occurrence was experiencing a glitch that caused me to move erratically and become stuck during combat, resulting in spamming "Anti-Hack" in the chat. Previously, I reported a bug related to player models due to recent updates, and I suspect the freezing glitch triggered the erroneous VAC ban.

I am currently using my private computer at home under my main account, jpmodz. Today, I decided to revisit MW2 with some fun single player mods. Being cautious of Steam's code of conduct on VAC bans, I created a new Steam account, jmodzzz, using the email [redacted] I purchased MW2 from a third party and redeemed the key, assuming it would keep my main account safe. However, it seems the game installation from my main account on the same PC triggered a false family sharing alert, resulting in a VAC ban on my main account instead of the spare account, jmodzzz, that I specifically created to avoid this situation. I hope this clarifies the issue, and I appreciate your attention to my concern about the VAC ban.

Hello, I was informed that I am not entitled to a refund because it appears that I have played over 2 hours of the game expansion. Despite this, I have not been able to access the product key or use the purchased product on Steam. I encountered issues registering the CD product key to my Square Enix account as it keeps showing as invalid. After seeking support from SE, I was informed that I can't use the game on Steam due to my account being registered for Windows. I was advised to contact Steam support for a refund since I have not played the game or registered the product code. I have since repurchased the expansion for Windows through the SE portal and played that version. However, I am being denied a refund for the Steam product that is unusable to me. The complexity of this situation is frustrating. Original ticket: Account: cdavid88 Email: [redacted] Ticket: HT-RR3G-578C-M487

I am currently mentoring a 13-year-old boy who aspires to be a Coder at your company in the future. He is exceptionally intelligent but needs individual support at his Middle School to navigate social interactions. If your company could offer mentorship, his talents could greatly benefit both him and your organization. This idea has been shared with Hunter (H.H.) and his school believes it could lead to a positive transformation. Your assistance in helping Hunter reach his full potential would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Mrs. Hanley, his Guidance Counselor, at [redacted] and [redacted] to discuss this further. Thank you for considering this opportunity. Best regards, Lisa Hanley and Patti Harter.

I am extremely concerned about the decision to create and distribute the Active Shooter game. This game is a dangerous and insensitive concept that could potentially lead to real-life violence. I urge the developers to reconsider releasing it and to think about the negative impact it could have on society. It is crucial to prioritize the well-being of individuals over profit. This kind of content should not be trivialized or exploited for entertainment purposes. I sincerely hope that the creators will reconsider their choices and act responsibly by not releasing this game. Let's all work towards promoting positivity and compassion in our media choices.

A user named ♥ Jexon ♥ on my friends list informed me that someone accused me of having duplicate TF2 items. Claiming to be a Valve employee for [redacted] days, he instructed me to send the items to an item verifier. Subsequently, he requested my account and Gmail details. Following this, my Steam account went offline. Upon restarting, I discovered I couldn't log in, leading me to believe my account had been compromised. As a precaution, I changed my Gmail password. I seek assistance in recovering my account as it holds sentimental value. Kindly take action against ♥ Jexon ♥ to prevent him from victimizing others.

Hello, Tonight, I tried logging into my Steam account for the first time in about 10-12 months. I can't recall my exact password, and now I'm uncertain about my username because I keep encountering a failed log-in. When attempting to seek support, my mobile and email are not recognized. While I can receive an authentication code to raise a ticket, I'm unable to provide details on purchases or the account since the system won't accept these inputs and keeps looping me back without progress. I've invested a significant amount over the years into my library/account but am now locked out. There seems to be no option to speak with a real person for assistance. Feeling quite frustrated. Best regards, M. Park

I recently had my game progress erased by the developer without explanation. I have invested money in the game through their website and purchased it on Steam. The developer claims I violated their Terms of Service and End User License Agreement but won't provide details or allow me to appeal. My 3.5 years of progress are gone, and I don't believe this is fair. I feel like they are presuming guilt without giving me a chance to prove my innocence. I have always played the game properly. I need advice on what to do next. The company deleted everything with no recourse. I am considering seeking a refund through my credit card company due to the unjust actions of the developer. I am looking for guidance on how to address this situation fairly, as their approach seems authoritarian. Please assist me in finding a resolution to this matter.

Hello, my name is Hunter. A few years ago, I went through a phase of buying many games that I never played. I can provide a list of every game and the logged hours, with most showing minimal playtime. I now need the funds as I am old enough to own a car, and I am looking to recoup some money from those unused games. I understand if you may doubt my situation, but I assure you, I am being truthful. It's frustrating for me to see these unplayed games, some of which are difficult to find players for. I simply seek assistance from a real person in addressing this. I appreciate any help you can offer me. Thank you.

Hello, I recently left a voice message regarding a scam involving the purchase of STEAM gift cards under false pretenses. The scammer claimed to be my boss and instructed me to buy the cards, scratch them, and send photos. Initially, I fell for this ruse due to the nature of our Real Estate work. As the requests for more purchases escalated, I became suspicious. Upon realizing the deception, I tried contacting the number provided ([redacted]) with no success. I managed to return some cards to CVS but faced difficulties at Walgreens. The card numbers are [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted]. Kindly deactivate them urgently. I am unfamiliar with STEAM and seek a refund. Please call me promptly to address this distressing situation. Best regards, Leslie M. [redacted]

I am seeking a refund for a game due to unresolved bugs despite attempts to get assistance through tickets. I understand I have exceeded the two-hour limit to automatically qualify for a refund, but Steam's policy allows for exceptions under certain conditions. Despite following these guidelines, I have only received automated responses and no meaningful support. If a refund through Steam is not possible, could you please advise me on how to proceed with requesting a refund directly from the game developers?

I encountered an issue while trying to buy R6 credits for Rainbow Six: Siege. Initially, after adding funds, an error message appeared. Despite having money in my steam account, I discovered it was empty. I attempted the purchase a second time thinking it failed, only to realize I was double charged $19.99 each time. Even after the transaction, $19.99 remains in my steam account. My steam username is _udig_leatherydig, displaying the profile name Tom Nook in Smash. I used a Chase Visa debit card ending in [redacted]. Can the $19.99 currently in my steam account be refunded to my card, please?

I am new to gaming, so please excuse my lack of understanding about gaming terms. I prefer playing games offline and recently bought Assetto Corsa for £15.49 on the Steam Store after some research. As I got familiar with the game, I came across "Sunday Drive" on YouTube, which belongs to Assetto Corsa Ultimate. I couldn't purchase it on Steam for £30.53. After contacting Steam to delete Assetto Corsa and refund me, I was told a refund wasn't possible due to playing the game for over two hours. Jeff from Steam suggested removing Assetto Corsa from my account as a good-will gesture and crediting the amount back to my Steam Wallet to buy Assetto Corsa Ultimate. However, I encountered issues setting up my G29 steering wheel and suspect not having the Ultimate edition installed. I requested a full refund to repurchase the correct software.

A Steam user with the name Mr. Thomas, posing as an admin, has scammed me out of valuable items. Additionally, he has taken control of my account (General Chungus), leading me to create a new one. Sadly, my friend on Steam (BoxDimensions) also fell victim to his scam, though he managed to retain his account. I seek retribution by urging for his permanent ban from all Team Fortress 2 servers and Steam activities, as well as the return of the stolen items to myself and my friend. Any updates regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to provide detailed information about an issue with my Steam funds related to the community market. Two days ago, on Dec 23, I set up 16 buy orders for Steam winter sale [redacted] trading cards. I bought 8 orders for FOIL trading cards and 8 orders for regular cards. After purchasing the FOIL cards successfully, I noticed a problem with the normal cards. When I tried to level up my normal Winter [redacted] badge, I encountered an issue as I was missing several cards needed to reach level [redacted]. Specifically, I am missing the following quantities of cards: - "Better with Friends" = 34 - "The Best Environment" = [redacted] - "The Best VR Game of [redacted]" = 39 - "The Labor of Love 2.0" = 97 I have spent considerable time investigating this issue and would appreciate it if Steam support could assist me in adding the missing cards to my inventory. I paid for these cards but did not receive them. I believe this is a client-side problem and not an error on my part. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Nathan Rodrigues (Xnate13X) - Steam ID: [redacted][redacted]

I recently had an issue with someone on Steam who claimed to have reported me for alleged items duplication. They provided a link to contact a supposed Steam admin named Tomb. After interacting with Tomb, I unknowingly shared my account details and email information. Consequently, my email associated with Steam got changed and all its content was deleted. I promptly secured my email, but unfortunately, both my Steam account (KIT35712) and another account (KIT3571) were compromised. This led to unauthorized changes on my Facebook account as well. I am concerned about the access granted to this individual posing as an admin on Steam. I seek assistance in recovering my Steam account and hopefully preventing any further issues.

I am unable to access my Syberia game on Steam after changing my provider. I received Steam Guard codes 43cgh and 9p5tt, but had trouble inputting them correctly. I am unsure how to proceed. Should I delete the game and reinstall it with my new server? Will this cause me to lose my settings or require me to repurchase the game? I am seeking guidance as a 75-year-old who loves the game but feels stuck. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Can someone provide a phone number for live support to help me with this issue?

I mistakenly purchased what I believed was the 2nd Season Season Pass (Extra Pack Set) for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I expected to receive Extra DLC Pack 3 and 4 eventually, but they seem to be missing, and I'm being charged for them. It seems I actually bought the wrong pass, and the real 2nd Season Pass (Extra Pass) that includes all four packs was released in December. When I try to buy the Extra Pass, it shows an error stating I already have Extra DLC Pass 1 and 2. I only want to exchange the Extra Pack for the Extra Pass and pay the price difference. I had previously opened a ticket about this, but the response assumed I wanted a refund, which was denied. I simply want to swap one for the other since they both include the same Extra DLC Pack 1 and 2.
