I purchased a flight from Seattle to Kona with this airline but was late for my original flight. Despite being reassured by United that I would be accommodated on the next available flight, I was mistakenly sent to Honolulu instead of my intended destination. This mishap caused me to have an unexpected overnight stay at the airport in Honolulu and was a significant inconvenience. When my flight was finally rebooked, I incorrectly ended up in Honolulu, which was not my intended destination. After speaking to various representatives, I was initially told I would receive a refund and even received an email confirming this. However, a few days later, another email stated that I would not be refunded. When I called United customer service, they informed me that I needed to contact the refund "team," who, unfortunately, was closed at the time without a provided phone number. The lack of clarity and inability to speak with a helpful representative has been incredibly frustrating for me.

I submitted this concern to customer service:
I traveled from MKE to EWR on Flight [redacted] on Nov 2, and my section had no heat during the flight, making it freezing and uncomfortable. The flight attendant mentioned that the heat was only at the back, not where I was seated. I inquired why this issue wasn't fixed prior to the flight, but he couldn't provide a satisfactory answer, indicating this was a known problem. I purchased a ticket for my son for Oct 18 at $[redacted].00, but it was mistakenly booked for Nov 18. I then rebooked for Oct 18 at $[redacted].98, but that reservation was also canceled in error. Consequently, my son had to buy a last-minute ticket at the airport for $[redacted]. The airline promised to refund the price difference of around $[redacted]. I contacted them over 3 weeks ago, and they assured me the refund would be applied to my Bank of America card, but as of today, Nov. 15th, I haven't received it. The confirmation numbers are [redacted] JW6EER755.98 (previously JX53XM) and [redacted].00 MVRDYY for the ticket purchased at the airport. The cardholder is L.M. at Bank of America for A. Decker. I had a distressing experience with United Airlines involving a cancelled flight and a lack of proper assistance for my disability. I had to rely on the help of a hotel receptionist to make new travel arrangements due to my speech difficulties. The subsequent journey was challenging, facing obstacles like inaccessible airport shuttles and missing equipment like my walker. Throughout the ordeal, I felt United Airlines did not treat me with the dignity and care I deserved as a disabled traveler. I am Dr. Ohri. My husband, Mr. Tapan Katwala, with gold premier status, flew from Newark to San Francisco on 11/17/19. Despite checking in one piece of luggage, it did not arrive with him. We were told it was being searched for, but no progress has been made. He returned to the airport the next day with no resolution other than a $[redacted] reimbursement to go shopping. This situation is unacceptable as he requires his belongings for a business meeting. Multiple calls and emails have been made without any response. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was informed they were unavailable. We urgently need a resolution, and we are highly dissatisfied with the handling of this matter.

Locator number: MGCGH5 - United Airlines - I bought First Class tickets for two people from Miami to Aspen, Colorado for a round trip on Dec 22 and returning to Miami on Dec 28. Despite booking First Class, I found out one of the legs was in Economy. I have contacted customer service 7 times, and each time was promised a resolution that has not occurred yet. I have been a loyal United Airlines customer for over 50 years, but this experience has been disappointing. The language barrier has made communication difficult. Owner R.D. lost their iPhone 5SE in a Green Otterbox case with a Red BMW Motorcycle GS [redacted] Screen Saver on a flight from Newark to San Francisco on October 22, [redacted], with flight number UA [redacted]. They sat in seats 13 A and B but had initially placed the phone in the back pocket of seat 12. I misplaced my iPhone 6s Plus on overnight flight [redacted] from SFO to TPA that arrived at 5:55 am on 11/28/19. The phone is under the seat where carry-ons are usually placed. I believe it's in seat 30B or C, as I was in seat C by the window. It has a clear case with a blue wave design and the screen photo is of a little boy on a blue pool float. The phone was turned off for the flight and remains off. I've filed a lost claim with report ID: [redacted]2 but haven't had any luck locating it. I'm certain it's in that spot on the plane. My name is Mr. E.B. I departed from Newark Liberty International on November 30, [redacted], on United Airlines Flight UA89 to Beijing, China. I had another flight scheduled from Beijing 2.5 hours after my arrival but our flight got delayed while in the air. I recently flew from Newark to Dublin and encountered a small issue. Due to some back discomfort, I relocated to an empty seat. Despite the plane not being full, a stewardess asked me to return to my original seat. I questioned this as the passengers in the seats I moved to had also switched. The explanation given was that the seat I picked was more expensive and I did not seek permission to move. While I complied and went back to my seat without further discussion, I felt a bit annoyed about the situation. I understand I should have asked beforehand, but I didn't anticipate any problems, and the rationale provided seemed questionable. I am a United States soldier currently deployed in Kosovo. I had originally booked a flight to depart at 6:45 a.m. on December 20th. However, my flight was rescheduled to leave at 9:15 a.m., and I was not notified about this change.
