Yesterday, I placed an order on Uber Eats for McDonald's. The order was accepted, and the restaurant started preparing it. However, due to bad weather, there was a delay. Five minutes later, the order was unexpectedly canceled despite already being in progress, and I was charged for it. I tried reaching out to Uber Eats via the app, but they were unhelpful, claiming I wasn't charged even though my bank statement says otherwise. I'm very disappointed with the poor treatment and lack of support shown by the company. I am seeking a refund promptly and will not be using their service again after this experience, which has left me £10 out of pocket.

I had a disappointing experience with my Uber Eats order last night. Despite not receiving a notification or doorbell ring, I found my meal sitting outside this morning. On May 31st, [redacted], I placed an order for food which was cancelled by the delivery person. Despite this, I have not received a refund for the amount paid via credit card. To resolve the issue, I contacted the delivery person who agreed to re-deliver the food. However, I was asked to pay in cash due to the previous cancellation. I complied and paid twice for the same order – once by credit card on Ubereats, and again in cash to the delivery person. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance through the Ubereats support app, I have not received a resolution. I had expected the refund for the cancelled order to be processed automatically. I placed an order for food on May 31st, [redacted], and unfortunately, it was cancelled by the delivery person. However, I have yet to receive my refund for the payment made via credit card. Even after contacting the delivery person to redeliver the food, I had to pay in cash as he mentioned the previous order cancellation. This lack of communication and service is unacceptable, especially considering the emotional significance of the order on Father's Day. I placed an order with Khan Saheb Grills in Bangalore for food, but unfortunately, I never received it. Strangely, when I tried to order again, it showed an outstanding payment of $81.76 for the previous order. I settled the payment on July 1 to continue ordering.

We purchased two adult steak meals and one child's meal but found them inedible. The steaks were raw inside with blood dripping from them when they arrived. One of the sides was missing, and instead, we received curly fries we didn't order. When we contacted Hog's Breath Blacktown, we were advised to contact UberEats, even though the issue was with the food preparation, not the delivery. Out of the five meals ordered, only two were consumed. Our autistic son was very upset by the blood in his steak and couldn't eat. We are requesting a full refund for the two raw steaks, the missing side dish, and the overall disappointing meal experience. On the 27th of June [redacted], I placed an order while in the hospital. The delivery arrived early, but I missed a call due to a network problem. After reconnecting, I managed to receive the order from the delivery person who collected the payment. Hello, my name is Elizabeth F. Today, I placed an order for a medium Big Tasty meal from McDonald’s via the Uber Eats app and specified that I wanted a medium Fanta with it. Unfortunately, when the driver arrived, he did not have the drink with him. After informing him, he mentioned that he would go back to the store to get it. My meal ended up getting cold as I waited for him to return with the drink. The wait took almost two hours, totaling four hours. I reached out to Uber Eats, and they offered to refund me £0.99. I explained I preferred the drink over the refund, but they suggested placing a new order. However, I couldn't afford to pay for another delivery charge of £3.50 on top of the initial charge taken from my account for an error that wasn't my fault.

I hope you can assist me with this matter. On July 2nd, I placed an order for an uttapam from a restaurant at 12:50 am. The estimated arrival time given was 1:35 am, which was acceptable. However, by 1:35 am, the delivery partner had not even started towards the restaurant. I contacted customer support at 1:45 am, and after a conference call with the delivery partner, I learned that he hadn't located the restaurant by 1:45 am. Due to the delay, I requested to cancel the order as I couldn't wait any longer. I later found out that the delivery partner had arrived, but I was asleep as I had already told him not to come.
I have a credit of Rs. [redacted] on the Uber Eats app. I am disappointed in the service provided after waiting for so long in the middle of the night without receiving the delivery. As a loyal Uber Eats customer, I hope you can address and resolve this issue promptly.

I recently placed an order (#B93FO) and encountered an issue with the delivery. Despite providing clear instructions for my delivery address, the courier was directed to a different location by Uber, resulting in my food being delivered to an unknown address. Although the food charge was canceled, I am unable to modify the prepaid tips or confirm that I wasn't charged for the failed delivery. Uber mistakenly listed a wrong address as my home on the app, leading to the delivery mishap. I want to ensure that any charges related to the incorrect delivery address are not my responsibility but Uber's. It is unacceptable that Uber inputted an incorrect address that I cannot edit, and the tips are not visible as expected. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot risk using Uber or Uber Eats. I recently ordered an egg and sausage bagel without cheese, adding bacon, as my usual order, and selected the meal including a hash brown and a drink. However, upon arrival, my bagel contained folded eggs and bacon, but no sausage as requested. Both the label on the bagel and the order receipt clearly indicated my preferences. After contacting the McDonald's location on Chase Side, I was advised to reach out to UberEats for resolution.
Upon placing a second order, the delivery was unsatisfactory as the bag fell apart, and the drink spilled due to a broken drinks holder. I have shared images of the issues through the UberEats app. I have now spent nearly £20 on a meal that should have been under £5 and am disappointed with the service received. Despite submitting two complaints, I have not received confirmation that my concerns are being addressed.

On June 30th, I placed an order and selected cash payment. The order arrived at 9 pm, and I paid Rs.[redacted] in cash to the delivery person. However, the app shows the order as canceled due to the courier not reaching me. Because of this, when I try to place a new order, it includes the previous amount. The order was delivered by Retesh, and I finalized payment with him. He contacted me from +[redacted]75. I request the appropriate action be taken against Retesh for not updating the delivery status in the app. Kindly correct the order status to delivered to reflect the actual delivery.

I ordered 3 junior meals with chips and drinks, a normal doner burger, coke, chips, onion rings, and a lamachun. Unfortunately, my order arrived cold, and the bag was torn. Upon inspection, I found that 3 junior chips were missing, one doner burger was missing, half of my son's mixed doner burger was missing, and lamachun was also missing. I contacted German Doner and was told to order a sauce for 20p, pay the delivery charge, and they would redeliver the missing items. I am not willing to pay for another delivery and wait an additional half hour as my kids had school and needed to sleep. I am a loyal customer with young children and would like a full refund or to speak with customer service. Thank you.

I have reached out multiple times via the app regarding promotion code 776eats, but the issue remains unresolved. I am unable to open any responses through the help button on the app now.
My account shows I was charged $5.99 for delivery despite the promotion stating 'including delivery fee'. I kindly request a supervisor's explanation as previous responses have not been helpful. It would be beneficial to review the responses given by others and ensure they are more attentive in addressing customer concerns.
If this matter is not resolved, I will discontinue using Uber Eats, and five of my friends will do the same. I will also leave negative feedback about the customer service provided.

We placed an order for food with an expected delivery time of 8:15. After learning the delivery was delayed until 8:40, we canceled the order to pick up the same items directly from the restaurant for our kids. However, we were still charged through the Uber Eats app. Uber support informed us we couldn't get a refund despite paying the restaurant directly for the same order. We are seeking a refund for the duplicate charge.

I am AF and today, on July 4th, I had my first experience with Uber Eats. I used the app because I had a $30 free meal voucher that was expiring soon, which was a great offer, thank you for that.
Unfortunately, I placed my order without applying the promo code for the free meal, and when I tried to cancel the order immediately, I was unable to. I searched everywhere for a contact number for Uber Eats to cancel my order, but the number I found did not work. It was frustrating not being able to reach them in an emergency.
Even though I tried to cancel the order, the app stated it was canceled, but my order was still processed, and I was charged from my bank account for a meal that was supposed to be free.
This experience was disappointing and ruined my evening with my family. If my bank can refund the unexpected charge, I would appreciate it. I hope Uber Eats can address these issues and improve their customer service in the future.

I placed an order with Nivetha. The order was picked up, and the delivery driver was en route to deliver it when suddenly my order was canceled without any communication. I had paid using my card, and now I have been charged because the delivery person couldn't reach me. I am frustrated that there is no way to contact customer service through chat or phone. The app only indicates the order was canceled without any insight into the refund process. I'm now left waiting for 5-7 business days to check if I will receive my money back, having to monitor my account statement regularly. My experience with UberEats has been disappointing, and I would advise against using this app in the future.

I placed an order with Fatburger on June 26 through UberEats, but my order never arrived. After contacting UberEats customer support, I was informed that I would receive a refund within a few business days. However, after not seeing the refund, I reached out again only to be told it was processed the same day. Despite this, I have been charged $27 for the canceled order, contrary to what I was assured by the UberEats representative. I have evidence of the charge in my account, even though UberEats claims I wasn't charged. The charge appears as Uber in my account, but upon reviewing my Uber transaction history, there is no ride for $27 on June 26. The only transaction matching that amount is from UberEats - the one I was told I wouldn't be charged for. I am seeking a refund for the amount as I can prove it was not refunded. I will persist in reaching out to UberEats support until this matter is resolved.

I placed an order today that was unexpectedly canceled without any notification. The reason given was that the driver waited for 10 minutes and then canceled the order without a refund. Strangely, I didn't receive any call or message from the delivery person during that time, even though my phone was with me. It's frustrating that I can't find a good way to contact anyone about this issue, and even when I did, the response time was very slow. Uber Eats' customer service is not up to par, and I'm really disappointed. I hope to get a prompt refund for the amount deducted from my paytm wallet for that order.
