After a long day at work, I treated myself to McDonald's delivery only to face a frustrating situation. The driver claimed he was downstairs, but neither my brother nor I could find him. Despite my efforts to contact him for clarification, he insisted he doesn't take calls. He then canceled my order, insisting I should come to him for the delivery. His refusal to bring the order to my door was surprising, especially as I possess screenshots of the conversation. I am dissatisfied with this service and demand a refund. This experience is unacceptable and exhausting after a tiring day.

Today, my order from Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Philadelphia placed at 5:47PM had an estimated delivery time of 6:20PM. I became concerned when by 6:30PM, I hadn't received any updates on the whereabouts of the delivery person, named Jonta. Despite attempting to reach out to him multiple times, I did not get any response. When I contacted UberEats customer service multiple times, I was directed to a "Premier" service that I couldn't access. This was extremely frustrating as I couldn't speak to anyone for assistance. By 7:00PM, my food had still not arrived. UberEats informed me that the delivery person had returned my order to the restaurant because he couldn't reach me. This information was baffling as I had tried calling him and was near my phone all along. The restaurant mentioned that the delivery person claimed to have lost my contact details and took the food back, possibly for himself. UberEats eventually canceled my order around 7:20PM without charging me. Their proposed solution was to reorder the food, but after the lack of communication and assistance during the previous situation, I declined. Despite recognizing the limitations of customer service, I am disappointed in UberEats' handling of the issue. I now seek some form of compensation or a complimentary meal due to the unacceptable experience compared to other delivery platforms like Caviar or GrubHub.

Hello, I placed an order at the restaurant yesterday, and when the delivery person brought my food, I paid the amount due. However, the delivery person claimed I didn't pay, and now I've been charged for not paying. I'm frustrated because this has happened to me before. I'd appreciate it if you could call the delivery person and include me in the conversation so I can inquire about why this is happening. I insist that I did pay. I had a challenging delivery experience last night at [redacted] East West Highway. Unfortunately, there was no available parking and the customer requested delivery to her door, which I couldn't fulfill due to parking restrictions. I tried to explain the situation to the customer, but it didn't go well. To make matters worse, it was someone I knew who doesn't have a good opinion of me, and she gave me a low rating. I believe this rating is unfair as I always follow Uber's guidelines and strive to provide excellent service. The customer's actions seem driven by spite, which is disheartening. This incident has made me feel unsafe, and I would prefer not to make deliveries at that address in the future. I hope there is a way to address this unjust rating.

I made an order with McDonald's on April 6th but accidentally canceled it soon after. Even though I canceled it quickly, I was still charged $14 out of the $18 total because the app said the restaurant had begun preparing the food. I reached out to Uber EATS customer service to request a refund due to the immediate cancellation, but they were unable to assist me. They tried contacting the restaurant without success and stated that they couldn't refund me for the mistake. They also didn't offer to resend the order or adjust the charges. They advised me to pick up the order myself, which is a 40-minute walk away, as I don't have a car. I don't believe the food could have been prepared within a minute of placing the order. I hope to get my money back for this error.

I am writing to file a complaint on behalf of my friend, Sujith Kumar. Yesterday at 2 pm, we ordered 6 kesaris from Ambiswamy Edapally in Kochi. The order was picked up from the hotel by a boy named Abinas, who was supposed to deliver it near The South Indian Bank on Rajagiri Road in Kalamssery. Unfortunately, Abinas did not contact us or answer our calls when he reached the destination. Despite our efforts to reach him through messages, there was no response. Subsequently, we found out that the order had been cancelled by the delivery boy. After contacting customer care, they assured us that the amount would be refunded. I later returned to the hotel to check if the food had been returned by the delivery boy, but unfortunately, the kesaris were not brought back. We have evidence to show that there were no attempted calls or messages made by the delivery boy. This kind of service is unacceptable. I am seeking a solution for the cancellation of my order without permission. It appears to be an issue with your staff not notifying me beforehand. Despite being a loyal Uber customer for many days due to your excellent service, I am now disappointed. I have been waiting for my order for some time only to find out it was canceled without my knowledge. This new service you have introduced seems to have caused this problem. I placed an order for $38 worth of food from McDonald's around 10:20 AM with an estimated delivery time of 10:40, being less than 2 miles away. By 10:50, the delivery time shifted to 11, which repeated several times. At 11:30, still without my order, I contacted the McDonald's, learning it was ready but not picked up. After reaching out to Uber Eats customer service, I discovered Christina was supposedly at the restaurant. Despite waiting for 30 more minutes, Christina didn't arrive. After calling customer service once more, it turns out Christina was still there. Frustrated, I drove to McDonald's myself, only to find Christina idling in the parking lot. I brought the food home, but everything was inedible due to being soggy and cold for over 2 hours. Even the coffee was spilled. This awful experience cost me $33.95, with an additional $4.49 for delivery, which was a waste since I had to pick it up.

I placed an order on Uber Eats for Five Guys since I no longer live near one and there was free delivery. Upon receiving the order, I realized there was no burger. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was unhelpful, suggesting just to request a refund or come in for a free burger. I explained that doesn't solve the issue as I ordered delivery for a reason. He was dismissive and hung up on me, offering no solution. This is not the first time I've had missing items from Uber Eats orders. I am looking for a refund on my original payment method, not store credit. Both Five Guys and Uber Eats need to improve their customer service.

I recently received an email notifying me that my uberEATS account has been suspended due to a high number of refund requests. The reason behind these requests is that my orders frequently arrive with incomplete or incorrect items, mainly from McDonald's. I believe the suspension should be lifted, and I urge you to investigate the McDonald's Emerton branch in NSW to ensure accurate orders are being sent out. It's frustrating for my family and me to miss out on your service due to McDonald's errors. I would appreciate it if you could resolve this issue promptly so that we can continue using uberEATS.

I am trying to resolve an ongoing issue with an Uber Eats delivery partner. On 3/22/19, I had a problem with a delivery guy on a bike who cancelled the trip when he was close by. Then, on 4/6/[redacted], the same bike delivery person claimed they delivered my food when they were still 2 minutes away. This is the second time this happened. As a delivery team member myself, I find this situation unfair and unacceptable. I want a refund for the undelivered food and ensure that this delivery person is not able to pick up my orders in the future.

Our family is new to UberEats. When we placed our first order with Panda Express yesterday, we expected to pay $20.83 upon delivery, similar to paying for pizza delivery. However, we were surprised to find the payment method was linked to an Uber ride account from February. Consequently, my young grandson paid the driver, Lawrence, $20.83 plus a $5 tip when the food arrived. I kindly request a refund of the $20.83 back to my account. I believe there was a misunderstanding between us and the driver. Being unfamiliar with the process, we were unaware the payment would be linked to a previous Uber ride. Lawrence may have mistakenly assumed the additional amount was a tip, but I wouldn't normally tip the total meal price. If you verify with him, you'll find that we gave him the meal cost plus a tip. We are excited about using UberEats but hope for your assistance in resolving this issue as I cannot afford to pay twice. Thank you for your help.

I had an issue with my Uber Eats order today. The delivery was supposed to go to an office building at [redacted] Camino Del Rio South, Suite #[redacted], where several receptions work. Although the restaurant said the food was picked up, I never received it. Uber's customer service told me the driver waited for 13 minutes at suite [redacted], but no one there saw the driver. I am considering disputing the charge with my credit card company since the food never arrived, and the driver didn't even call when supposedly at our office.

I've been trying to use your app for several months now, but unfortunately, it's still not functioning. I originally thought the issue might be a bug that would have been fixed, so I deleted the app hoping to reinstall it later. However, I re-downloaded it recently and it's still giving me the same error message. I've even tried inputting different addresses, but the app continues to display "we are not available, please come back later." This is frustrating as I urgently need the service your app provides, especially since the location is closing soon.

Upon receiving my food delivery, the driver handed me the bags upside down, causing the Mexican food with beans, rice, and cheese sauce to spill and mix together at the bottom of the bag. Despite my showing him the mess and the fact that someone in his car distracted him during the drop-off, he only casually said, "Yeah, sorry, the bags fell over." It appeared as though someone had already eaten the meals. The food was completely ruined, preventing myself and two other nurses from enjoying it during our 12-hour shift. I am requesting a refund for this unacceptable experience and can provide pictures of the mishap when I opened the bag. The delivery person's carelessness was truly disappointing.

Hello Team, I am experiencing an issue with both Uber and Uber Eats. Last week, six orders were cancelled, and I was charged for all of them. Each time after entering the OTP, an unknown error occurred, and none of the orders were processed. I have been deducted the amount, and I am unsure who is accountable for this error. I am experiencing difficulties with the app. Upon opening the app, I am immediately prompted to enter a phone number with no other sign-in options available. Despite entering both of my numbers, I receive no response, notifications, or any indication of progress. However, when using my mom's number, the sign-in process proceeds. Subsequently, attempting to enter my address leads to an error message stating "there is some problem from our end," preventing me from inputting the address. These issues have been frustrating and disappointing. I urge the developers to address and rectify these concerns promptly.

I placed an order for myself and my 3 children on April 9, [redacted], at 1:55 PM. The order was confirmed at 1:58 PM with a delivery time of 2:40 PM. However, the estimated delivery time kept changing from 2:55 PM to 3:55 PM. It is frustrating to experience such delays when I live only 7 minutes away from the restaurant. This level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional. After this incident, I am hesitant to use Ubereats again or recommend it to others.
