I recently placed an order with McDonald's at 11:59 but mistakenly chose the wrong location. I noticed my error within seconds and promptly canceled the order at 11:59, before it was prepared (the screen still displayed "order being placed"). I then reordered the exact items at a different location at 1:02. I shouldn't be charged for the initial canceled order since no food preparation had begun. I recently placed an order for burgers with cash on delivery. The delivery person had trouble finding my address initially but after providing directions over the phone, they were still unable to locate it. I was interrupted by an important call when they tried to reach me, and upon calling them back, I was informed that my order had been cancelled. Despite offering to pick it up or have it delivered again, the delivery person mentioned they were instructed to send it elsewhere. I am considering placing the order again, but without resorting to creating new accounts to bypass the system. I am experiencing difficulties with the app still charging me for the previous cancelled order. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. On Saturday, February 16th at 7:23 pm CST, I accidentally confirmed an order at Taiwan Restaurant in Austin, TX. I immediately clicked "cancel order" but was prompted to call UberEats customer service. The call with Uber lasted over 6 minutes, during which they contacted the restaurant. The food was supposedly prepared by then, and I agreed to be charged. However, my card didn't process due to an outdated payment method on file. Thinking my order was cancelled, I was surprised to later receive a notification that my food was on the way, 30-40 minutes after the restaurant's confirmation. I am requesting a refund of $43.49 for the unauthorized charge. I would appreciate it if you could verify the timestamps of my call and actions in the app, all of which were immediate after the accidental order confirmation. Thank you for your assistance.

Order #[redacted]. I experienced a delay in my order pickup by the carrier from the restaurant, which also caused a late delivery. This resulted in me missing part of a work meeting and having to purchase an additional lunch while waiting for the delayed order. I encountered language barriers and communication issues when trying to cancel the order with a customer service representative, which added to the frustration. Despite finally receiving the food, the overall experience has led me to decide not to continue using UberEats in the future. I recently placed an order on UberEats, but unfortunately received the wrong order. When I tried to explain this to the driver, he seemed confused and unhelpful. After contacting UberEats, the customer service representative insisted on refunding my order, even though I just wanted the correct order delivered. Despite explaining this several times, I felt like I was getting nowhere.
Eventually, I was transferred to a supervisor named Ralph who mentioned they couldn't do much except offer a free delivery or small credit as compensation. I found the resolution unsatisfactory, especially considering the level of technology Uber is known for. I am hoping for someone higher up than Ralph to reach out to me regarding this disappointing experience and lack of customer service.

Last night, I placed an order on Uber Eats from Elmwood Tacos and Subs with an estimated arrival time of 10:14. The driver, Dashawn, driving a silver Honda Civic, called me upon arrival, but as I live on the 5th floor of a dorm with no phone service in the elevator, I missed his call. I tried calling him back at 10:16 and 10:17, with no response, and even went outside to look for him. Despite multiple attempts to reach him within the 8-minute window, he left at 10:22 without delivering the order. I have evidence of my calls and interactions, including security camera footage. I ordered from Sonic at 3:20 and am experiencing significant delays through UberEats. The expected delivery time has been constantly pushed back, causing frustration. After the initial order was cancelled, we placed it again, but the same delays are occurring. My friend and I are extremely hungry and disappointed with the service. This is my first time using UberEats, and the experience has been disappointing. I kindly request UberEats to ensure my food is delivered before 5:30. The delivery of my order is severely delayed and I am unsure if it will ever arrive. I placed my order before midnight without realizing that the app stops working after that time. The previous day, I received a similar order from the same restaurant in just 20 minutes, making this situation more frustrating. What bothered me the most was the inability to contact customer support for updates on my order status. Waiting for over 40 minutes left me feeling helpless. It would be beneficial if restaurants accepted orders until midnight, allowing customers to reach customer service until at least 12:30. I've been experiencing some challenges with Uber Eats orders. One issue is with kids' meals not being clearly labeled, making it difficult to differentiate them from regular menu items. For instance, orders for "Crunchy shrimp" or "mac and cheese" lack the indication that they are from the kids' menu, causing confusion during preparation.
Another problem is incomplete order descriptions. For example, an order for a "bourbon chicken and shrimp sub mashes potatoes" doesn't specify the side being substituted or the addition of mashed potatoes. This lack of clarity led to a mix-up in fulfilling the order correctly.
Furthermore, some menu item prices on the platform don't align with our actual prices. I manually adjusted them, but I'm unsure if it's our responsibility to regularly update them each time there's a price change.

I ordered food from Aga's restaurant in Houston for a late dinner. The delivery time was initially 30-40 minutes. However, after 40 minutes, it got delayed by another half hour. I contacted the restaurant and was informed a driver was assigned, and the food was ready. Despite this, the delivery time kept extending. I called Uber and was told the driver was at the restaurant, waiting for the food. After some time, the delivery was delayed even further. Upon calling the restaurant again, I was told the driver had the food and was on the way. However, when I reached out to the driver, he claimed he hadn't picked up the order and was not from Uber. I contacted Uber, and they tried to reach the driver without success. The whole ordeal caused all my preferred restaurants to close, resulting in a disappointing experience with poor customer service.

Hello, I'm Theresa C. I have both an Uber Eats and Uber account. I have a query about the current "buy 1 get 1 free" offer on Uber Eats. Today, I noticed that only around 7 or 8 out of 11 participating restaurants had items listed under the promotion on the app. Some of the participating restaurants didn't have any items included. Last night, my delivery driver did not attempt to contact me and canceled my order, causing me to lose nearly $50 worth of food. Even though I have proof from call logs that he made no effort to reach out, the customer support keeps insisting he couldn't contact me. This situation is completely unjust given the evidence. I find it unfair and frustrating to have my money taken like this and then be made to feel responsible. I recently used Uber Eats and verified my address, phone number, and payment details, so the lack of communication from the driver is suspicious.

I utilized the Sorenson Video Phone ASL interpreter service to contact the customer service representative, Princess. Despite providing detailed information about the failed delivery attempt at my workplace, the representative and supervisor, with ID# [redacted] and #[redacted]26 respectively, were unhelpful in resolving the situation or issuing a refund. Witnesses in the office observed the delivery driver approach the wrong entrance and depart without delivering the order, which contradicts the driver's claims. I am disappointed in the lack of willingness to investigate further and address the concerns raised. This experience has left me dissatisfied as a customer, and I hope for a fair resolution to this matter.

I cancelled an order because the restaurant location was far away; there was a closer one available. I'm frustrated receiving a $25 charge for resubmitting the same order at a different location. I ended up paying $60 for a meal due to UberEATS not offering the closer option. I've decided to delete the app as it's overpriced. I prefer dining out myself to save money. I request a refund for the unnecessary $25 cancellation fee. There should be a way to change the restaurant location post-ordering, or at least a brief window without a fee. I cancelled within 5 seconds. This policy is unfair and harms Uber's reputation.
