I started working on April 13, [redacted], as a distribution clerk. Originally, I applied for a position at the Napa Post Office, where I interviewed, but later was transferred to the Richmond Post Office, and eventually to the El Sabronte Post Office. I never received clear expectations for my role when I started. Three weeks into the job, I was informed by two supervisors that I was not scanning fast enough, and they suggested I resign. Despite my dedication and love for USPS (my dad is a retired mail carrier), I felt compelled to resign. I truly admire the work done by USPS for our country daily, and I am a committed and trustworthy employee who wishes to continue working for USPS.

I am Thomas Brown, a retirement counselor at the National Institutes of Health, Benefits Office, requesting your help in obtaining the payroll records of former U.S. Postal Service employee, Christopher King. Mr. King worked for USPS from June 25, [redacted], to September 21, [redacted], and from January 01, [redacted], to July 01, [redacted]. I am unable to determine Mr. King's work schedule from his USPS Notification of Personnel Actions (PS Form 50). He had temporary appointments and is now looking to make a deposit into the FERS retirement plan for those appointments. Please provide me with the contact details of the office that can assist me with this payroll record request. Mr. King's duty station was Washington, DC, during his time with USPS. You can reach me at [redacted] for a discussion over the phone.

After retiring from CSRS and returning to work as an RCA for 1 or 2 days a week, I contacted OPM via phone and email to ensure it wouldn't impact my pension, and they confirmed it wouldn't. However, for the past 10 weeks, I received only $.81/hour instead of $17.78. OPM explained that my annual pension minus my estimated [redacted] income (if I worked full time) divided by my hourly wage resulted in the low rate. This calculation seems off as I work part-time. I was told I could earn $17,[redacted] yearly before penalties kick in. It's challenging for my postmaster to find reliable part-time workers. Why is my income projection based on full-time hours when I work only half days a week? Employee ID: [redacted]7

Hello, I am Nancy Burns from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I applied for the job with Job ID (NB[redacted]5) and my candidate ID is ([redacted]1). I would like to discuss the background check conducted by GIS on May 7th, [redacted]. I received the background check report indicating the denial for the PSE mail clerk position. I have a letter from the Judge explaining my charges related to a courthouse incident where I mistakenly brought my licensed weapon. I am not a criminal, and I believe I am a suitable candidate for the job. Despite reapplying after 90 days as advised, I was not reconsidered. Can you assist me in appealing this decision with the necessary documentation? Thank you and have a great day!

Hello, my name is Nancy B. and I currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Job ID number for my application is (NB[redacted]5) and my candidate ID number is ([redacted]1). I would like to discuss the background check conducted on May 7, [redacted], by GIS for the PSE mail clerk position. I received a copy of my background check in the mail and later got an email stating that my application was rescinded due to my background. I have a letter from the judge who handled my case, explaining the circumstances. I want to appeal the decision and provide this documentation. I believe I am a suitable candidate despite my past mistake of carrying a concealed weapon into a courthouse, which is prohibited even though I had a license. I reapplied after 90 days as advised but was still not considered. Can you assist me or direct me on how to appeal this decision? Best, Nancy B. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

I recently applied for a job at USPS and encountered an issue with parking tickets that were mistakenly linked to my record. I promptly paid the tickets, and while the DMV confirmed there was only a temporary hold on my license that was cleared on 2/28/19, GIS appears to show a reinstatement due to adding a cycle endorsement on 3/01/19. This seems to have caused confusion as my license has always been in good standing without any reinstatements. I believe this misunderstanding is causing me to be turned down for job opportunities despite being on the selection list multiple times. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter so I can pursue the job opportunities I am seeking with USPS. Thank you.

I applied for an RCA position in Brownsville, Texas. First, I received an email to confirm my license, followed by an interview the next week. Subsequently, I received emails for my background check and drug test. I completed these tasks on June 14th for the background check and on the 18th, the drug test. Unfortunately, I misunderstood another email's instructions and didn't complete the required steps. I would like to know if it's possible to continue my hiring process. If so, what are the necessary steps I should take? If not, when can I reapply for other RCA positions nearby?

I believe that the MC([redacted]) assessment did not accurately reflect my abilities for the rural carrier job in Central City, IA. Despite my answers, my profile was not fully considered due to being self-employed on a family dairy farm facing economic challenges. I still hope for an opportunity or a reconsideration of the assessment to include those in unique circumstances like mine. Thank you, Marian

I recently sent in my retirement paperwork with proof of delivery. I got an email on August 6, [redacted] saying they couldn't find any delivery information for my package. How can I confirm if my retirement packet was indeed delivered and is currently being processed? My name is John Pharris and my EID is [redacted]0. It's urgent that I know the status of this as soon as possible. Thank you. John Pharris

I am Joshua T. and previously worked as an RCA, but I recently left for another job. I require a Verification of Employment form completed by a Post Office HR representative. Could you please provide me with a fax number where I can send the form for completion and return? It is urgent. I can be reached at [redacted]. I came across a website that asked for payment to fill out the form, which I'm not willing to do. Thank you.

I left my position at Falcon Field Station in Mesa, AZ on January 25, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the retirement packet I was supposed to receive never made it to the correct office. Despite my repeated written and verbal notifications between April [redacted] and January [redacted], the Station management did not acknowledge them and marked me as AWOL until August [redacted]. Regrettably, the union provided minimal assistance during this process. The Station Manager was investigated by the US Senate Oversight Committee. I am seeking to ensure I receive the retirement benefits I rightfully deserve.

I am currently in the process of applying for my Real Estate license in Indiana. To complete my application, I require details concerning an investigation related to Daniel Pereyda - [redacted]-96-[redacted] - born on 02/10/53. I was a Christmas seasonal worker between November and December [redacted]. I was wrongly arrested for theft at a postal facility in City of Industry, CA during this period. Fortunately, with the help of a lawyer and the confession of the two individuals involved in the theft, all charges against me were dismissed. I am seeking guidance on which department to contact regarding this case to obtain any necessary documents to be sent to me or directly to the Indiana Real Estate Commission. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Daniel Pereyda.

During my time as a substitute rural carrier in Montana, I covered a challenging 84-mile route that included a high-speed highway section. Despite management's emphasis on safety and seatbelt use, I encountered a concerning situation. When my own right-hand drive vehicle needed repairs and no suitable replacement was available, my supervisor suggested renting a car that I could drive by straddling the console. This arrangement made using a seatbelt impossible, even though it is a legal requirement and crucial for safety, especially in a government role. Feeling conflicted about the mixed messages on safety, I discovered that others in similar roles faced the same dilemma in different counties. I wonder why this practice is deemed acceptable despite the safety risks it poses.

I visited the clinic on October 15, [redacted] for a drug screening. The ECup EScreen123 Ereader 5 panel drug screen was the procedure ordered. Unfortunately, the clinic administered it incorrectly. The clinician gave me an opened ECup instead of a sterile one, and later found an unopened one. After taking the test without a lid and being told it was a refusal due to time spent in the bathroom, I requested to retake it but was denied. This experience caused me to lose a job opportunity with USPS. I would appreciate being issued another authorization for a drug test to rectify this situation.

I am Ronald F. from the VMF in Newark, NJ, located at [redacted] Thomas Street, Newark, NJ [redacted]. Recently, I submitted my retirement application with the required blue book to my local VMF, which was then forwarded to Greensboro, NC. I received a stamped return receipt on August 23rd, acknowledging their receipt of my documents. Since then, I have not received any updates regarding the status of my retirement request. My local VMF manager has informed me that they have not been notified by Human Resources or OPM regarding my retirement as of December 31, [redacted]. I am seeking clarification on whether my paperwork is being processed and if my retirement date remains unchanged. If possible, please reach out to me via email or leave a message at my home number, [redacted], as I am currently at work. I am willing to provide any additional information upon request. Thank you. - Ronald F.

I'm seeking assistance from someone in the HR department regarding my healthcare options as an RCA working more than 30 hours a week. Currently enrolled in Medicare with a supplemental policy, I'm looking to add my wife to an eligible plan and understand how it aligns with USPS benefits. Despite reviewing online resources, I couldn't find details relevant to my situation. When contacting the HR self-service number, an error message indicates my EID/PIN are incorrect. I'm eager to connect with a representative during this busy period at the post office for guidance. Kindly reach me at [redacted] for prompt assistance.

I need assistance with my application for the City Carrier Assistant position in NYC. I completed the drug test on the same day I received the email. However, I recently discovered that the email for the fingerprinting appointment ended up in my spam folder, and I missed it. I only found it today when I was checking my spam emails. Can you please help me reschedule my fingerprint appointment? I am very interested in this job opportunity. Thank you for your help.

During my time at the Pearisburg VA location as a CCA, I experienced a hostile work environment created by the postmaster. After feeling harassed, on my 83rd day, the postmaster instructed the supervisor, Erica Teats, to pressure me into signing a resignation paper under the threat of termination due to not completing tasks within a specific time frame. I was told resigning would improve my chances of being rehired as a clerk. This experience left me feeling harassed and uncomfortable in the workplace.

Hi, I'm Sabrina Ellison. I work at USPS on Talmadge Road in Edison cross-dock. Today, my paycheck was not available, and I was informed it is in Kearny, NJ. I am dedicated and punctual every day, so not receiving my check on time is frustrating. I request my check be printed today and delivered to me at Talmadge Road in Edison. It's important for everyone to meet the same standards of timeliness and reliability.
