The car host accused me of smoking in the vehicle, which I did not do. He charged me $[redacted].50 as an incidental fee for smoking, which I disputed. Afterwards, I received another invoice for a $25.75 cleaning fee, which I agreed to. However, I did not agree to the $[redacted].50 smoking charge, but it was still charged to my card along with the cleaning fee. I only received an email receipt for the $25.75 cleaning fee, not for the $[redacted].50 charge that was also applied. I would like the charges for smoking to be reversed.

I recently learned about Turo from a friend and was eager to try it out instead of the traditional car rental companies. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties obtaining accurate rental details for the days I needed. The dates I selected for my trip were allegedly not available after I had already paid and reserved the rental. Despite canceling and leaving a polite message to the owner, my account was unexpectedly restricted. I am facing an issue with Turo and my bank, Capital One, trying to deduct money from my checking account despite a trip interruption refund I received months ago. The incident occurred on July 25, [redacted], which I believe is past the statute of limitations in Georgia. I provided my bank with evidence during the dispute, but I am unsure if they received it. Threatening to report the bank to various authorities, including the FCC and BBB, did not yield results. Despite my attempts to contact Turo to resolve the matter, they have closed my account. There seems to be a major misunderstanding regarding the smoking incident. We did not smoke anything inside the car. The attached image shows rolling paper used to roll marijuana during the trip, not smoked in the vehicle. It is confusing why a $[redacted] fee was charged, and why I got banned from Turo solely based on this picture. I value Turo and stand by the platform, but I am disappointed with how this issue was handled. I am requesting a refund for the smoking policy as I strongly dispute the accusation.

Hello, I am Tatyana Byrd. I made a car booking with Turo a few days ago, but I can't remember the make or model. I was charged $[redacted] by Turo for the rental. After contacting customer service, they mentioned there was a technical issue in their system. I want to inform Turo that even though I booked the vehicle for 3 days, I didn't receive it due to technical problems on Turo's end.
I spoke with customer service, and after an investigation, they confirmed my claims were accurate. I hope Turo provides a record of this incident for future reference. As a regular Turo user, I would like to know if my refund has been processed. Thank you.

I am a renter and unfortunately, my Turo rental car was broken into while parked in front of Xiao Long Dumplings Las Vegas at 11:30 a.m. on New Year's Day, 01/01/[redacted]. When I returned at 1:30 p.m., I discovered that the right-side and back windows were smashed, and some belongings were taken. I made a reservation with you on January 18th for Hawaii from April 15th to 21st.
Yesterday, on March 28th, the car owner I rented from messaged me saying the car was in an accident and considered a total loss, which led to the cancellation of my reservation, leaving me with nothing. I immediately made a new reservation because we need the car for a family trip, and my flight will arrive in Hawaii at night.
Now my question is why you didn't assist me in renting another car for the same total amount I paid. It doesn't seem fair that my reservation was canceled, and then I have to pay extra money for another rental car. It is your responsibility to find a solution for me and maintain the same price as my original reservation.
Please help me with this issue. What I'm asking for is to keep the same price as my initial reservation since it was you who canceled it, leaving me without any available assistance other than the option to rent a different car for our family trip with children. I await your response, and we need to be more honest in this situation by upholding our policies and booking rights. Thank you very much!

I am having trouble booking cars due to a chargeback last year. The chargeback occurred because the host failed to provide me with a car. The host's automated responses to my texts made it difficult to communicate. I spent over an hour searching for the car in the airport parking garage with no assistance from the host. I was charged a gas fee even though I refilled the tank before returning the car. When I picked up the car, it was not full, so I filled it to the same level. If the expectation is to return the car with the same amount of gas as when picked up, then the tank should be full. Being charged extra due to a discrepancy between my fill-up and the host's estimate is not fair practice.

I've been trying to contact Turo for a week now, attempting to speak with a live representative without success. They keep directing me to chat support through some links they send. I rented a car from a host and noticed damage to the plastic case around the side passenger mirror when I picked it up. I took photos and informed the host before taking the car. While using the car, the plastic case fell off completely. Turo is asking me to pay for a new mirror for the host, but I believe I am not responsible as the damage was pre-existing when I got the car.

I would like to know how to contact a representative regarding a recent issue during my Turo trip. The host tried to charge me $70 for gas despite me giving $25 cash for fuel due to time constraints. After I informed the host and they agreed to the $25, I was surprised to receive a $60 gas fee and a $10 service fee later. When I returned the vehicle, the gas level was at about 3/4, not empty. Feeling the $70 charge was excessive, I disputed it. The host then threatened to report me for smoking, which I did not do. I rented a car for a family funeral trip. Upon returning the car, there were issues with the meeting location and time, almost causing me to miss my flight. The host later found a vape pen in the car that belonged to my brother. Despite the host offering not to report this to Turo if I paid them directly, I declined as there was no smoking involved. I am very disappointed with the service I received from the host on my recent car rental. The AC barely worked, causing my 3-year-old son to be drenched in sweat and crying. This ruined our plans, and I had to return him to his mother's house, missing out on quality time with him over the weekend. Despite the host's promise to address the issue, he now wants to charge me extra money.
