I discovered that my large luggage was severely damaged with missing wheels and housing, rendering it unrepairable. I have already reported the issue and have been instructed to complete a form with accompanying photos. However, one of the requirements requests a receipt of the luggage purchase, which I do not possess as I was on vacation at the time of purchase and away from home. The urgency lies in my upcoming travels from LAX to SFO in 5 days and then from SFO to Cairo on the 24th. This particular luggage, valued at approximately $[redacted], was a crucial part of my travel plans. I kindly request swift assistance on your end, as time is of the essence with my impending flights.

Hello, I lost my luggage, consisting of two bags, at Heathrow Airport on December 21st. I promptly visited the lost luggage office to report the incident and received a document from Turkish Airlines outlining the details of the report and how to proceed with any claims, including a 14-day deadline for damage claims. Although the bags were recovered a few days later, one of them arrived damaged. I submitted a claim within the specified timeframe on January 1st. Despite this, the baggage services team rejected my claim, citing a 7-day communication requirement for irregularities. I have proof of reporting the issue on the same day with reference LHRTK29187 and submitting a claim within the given timeframe. Turkish Airlines seems reluctant to address the issue properly. Any guidance on resolving this matter would be appreciated.

I need to file a complaint with Turkish Airlines regarding my missed flight from Istanbul to Lahore, Pakistan. Despite speaking with various authorities and customer care representatives, my experience was disheartening. At the Turkish airport, they do not provide kids strollers, which was unexpected and inconvenient as I was traveling for the first time with Turkish Airlines while carrying my 15 kg, two-year-old child and a heavy backpack, along with being three months pregnant. Unfortunately, I was misdirected by inexperienced staff to the wrong gate, causing me to rush with all my belongings and my child to the correct gate. I arrived at 9:30 PM, having spent all my savings on the tickets and facing a long wait due to the missed flight. This situation caused me to miss an important family event. I seek accountability for the distress, financial loss, and personal hardship caused by this experience on January 20th. Thank you, Fatima.

I recently booked a return flight ticket from Manchester, UK to Islamabad, Pakistan via Istanbul for travel on 10th to 24th May [redacted] with Travel Trolley. However, I mistakenly selected the departure date as 10th May instead of 3rd May. Despite several attempts to correct this with Travel Trolley, they were unhelpful and demanded extra fees for the change. Due to personal circumstances at the time of booking, I overlooked this error. I seek assistance in amending my departure date without incurring significant costs. The airline booking reference is UJNSW8, and the e-ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. The flight details are: TK1994 (Manchester to Istanbul), TK710 (Istanbul to Islamabad), TK711 (Islamabad to Istanbul), and TK1995 (Istanbul to Manchester). My name is Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Hussain, DOB 30/06/[redacted], and my UK address is 3 Oakdale Avenue, Shipley, West Yorkshire, BD18 1NU. Contact me at [redacted]6 or [redacted]

To the team at Turkish Airlines, I am writing to share two unfortunate incidents I faced with your airline while traveling to DRC-Kinshasa. Firstly, my luggage was delayed twice during my trips, causing inconvenience. On the second occasion, my baggage was delayed on 16/11/[redacted]. Even though I reported the issue at the Turkish Airlines office in Kinshasa, I received only $50 in reimbursement for damaged food, which was worth more. Secondly, I experienced unprofessionalism at the Kinshasa office when I reported stolen medicine from my luggage. Despite sending an email detailing the incident, the staff member did not acknowledge receipt and failed to respond to my inquiries about the feedback. As Turkish Airlines has been recognized as the best airline in Europe for several years, I believe that such discrepancies should not go unaddressed. I hope to hear from your team soon to resolve these matters appropriately.

I would like to address the issues I encountered during my recent travels with Turkish Airlines. On December 27, [redacted], while on Flight no. TK1988, Ticket No. [redacted][redacted]51, upon arrival in Accra, two of our suitcases were missing, leaving my daughter and me without clothes for two days. Furthermore, during our departure on January 10, [redacted], on flight TK1979, there was an unapologetic nearly 2-hour delay. Subsequently, upon arrival in Turkey, we were rushed to the connecting flight by a rude and inconsiderate staff member who did not cater to passengers with mobility issues. The security staff was also disrespectful while handling our belongings. To make matters worse, one of my suitcases did not arrive at Heathrow and was delivered the following day in a damaged condition. Despite multiple attempts to file a complaint through your websites, I have had no success. I am deeply disappointed by the treatment we received and hope for a prompt resolution and compensation for the inconveniences faced. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue with the return flight of the tickets we purchased from London to Mumbai for a two-month trip from 15th January to 15th March [redacted] through Smart Fares. Upon receiving the tickets, we noticed that the return date was incorrectly set to 18th of March, despite our initial request. Attempts to contact Smart Fares only resulted in being offered a costly £[redacted] fee to change the flight dates. Despite requesting to speak to a supervisor, each call ended in being placed on hold and eventually disconnected, with no resolution. Contacting Turkish Airlines directly proved unfruitful as they required a booking reference withheld by the agency. The current return flights are scheduled for Monday, March 18th, [redacted], which exceeds our Indian visas validity, posing a serious issue. We urgently seek to change the flights to depart by the 15th of March to avoid any legal complications. Your prompt attention and assistance in adjusting these travel dates would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Miss Lilia Grossmith

I have filed numerous complaints with Turkish Airlines Customer Service both online and over the phone, and each time I am given a new reference number. Here is a list of the numbers they provided me: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. The reason for my multiple complaints is due to Turkish Airlines not understanding my issue. Each time I raise a concern, they respond in a way that makes them believe the matter is resolved, but it is not. Despite reaching out through their feedback page, Twitter, and speaking with Customer Service representatives who promised urgent attention, my problem remains unresolved after over 2 months. Regarding a recent issue with transferring miles from my credit card to Turkish Airlines, the process has taken over a month instead of the expected 5 to 21 days. This delay caused me to alter my travel plans and face dissatisfaction. While Turkish Airlines claims the miles were transferred, the problem lies in the delay, impacting my vacation. I am still awaiting a resolution and compensation for this inconvenience.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received during my recent business trip with Turkish Airlines on January 27. I had a connecting flight from Frankfurt to Los Angeles via Istanbul, carrying important business samples and papers required for a meeting the next day. Despite assurances from Turkish Airlines agents in both Frankfurt and Istanbul that my baggage would make it to my final destination on time, it did not arrive in Los Angeles with me. This resulted in a significant loss for me professionally, as I was unable to present the necessary materials at the meeting. After spending over $[redacted] on a business class ticket, I find it unacceptable that my baggage did not reach its destination, especially when all my flights were on schedule. The lack of accountability from Turkish Airlines staff in Los Angeles only added to my frustration. I was informed that my baggage would be delivered to my home in California a day or two later, but the damage had already been done. I believe that Turkish Airlines should take responsibility for this negligence and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss I experienced. I hope for a prompt and professional resolution to this matter so that I can continue to choose Turkish Airlines for my future international business travel. Best regards, Samuel Paz

I purchased a ticket (Ticket Number [redacted][redacted] with Reservation No. RD677DS) for my daughter, O.B.O., to travel to school in Ukraine back in September [redacted]. The University she attends has a policy where if a student fails the written and oral exams, they need to return home the next day. To accommodate this, I initially booked a round-trip ticket and later upgraded the return ticket to a flexible one for an extra fee of N84,[redacted], in case she needed to extend her stay for her studies. My daughter passed her exams, but due to a strike at your Lagos office, I couldn't change the ticket as planned. I have two daughters who are frequent fliers with Turkish Airlines, scheduled to return home in July [redacted], and I need assistance regarding the unused ticket. Despite my attempts to reach your office by phone, I couldn't get through due to the strike. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated as my daughters need tickets for their upcoming trip. Thank you for your assistance. O.M.O.

I opted for a flexible return ticket which could be changed if needed for an extra fee of N84,[redacted]. Thankfully, she passed her exams and got admission. However, due to a strike at the Lagos office of the airline, I couldn't reach anyone to change the return date. As my daughters are also scheduled to fly with Turkish Airlines in July [redacted], I am seeking assistance in utilizing the unused and unchangeable ticket for my daughter's return trip. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial as their upcoming journey approaches. Thank you in advance for your help. Ogunmuyiwa M. Olufemi.

On December 23, [redacted], I flew from Lagos, Nigeria to JFK New York with two checked bags. Upon arrival, I discovered that one of my bags with Tag # [redacted] was missing. The Turkish agent informed me that my bag was not on the flight and gave me a reference number JFKTK [redacted]. Despite promises from Turkish agents, my bag was not delivered. I had to repeatedly contact them, only to find out that my bag had been sent as cargo with 60 iPhones inside, leading to issues with the US Customs. After much back and forth between Turkish Cargo and Customs, I was asked to pay $[redacted].00 for storage before finally retrieving my bag in a lengthy process. This ordeal caused me significant inconvenience, expenses, and the loss of important items including historical diaries. I urgently require my bag to be sent to my address in Indianapolis before February 15th.

Hello! I'm Eduardo Brandao from Brazil, running the @brandaoworld Instagram. It's a travel profile showcasing landscape, luxury, cultures, and photography. The feed is designed to captivate interest with creative photos and encourage exploration of the details in each post. I have upcoming flights with Turkish Airlines on March 6th from Sao Paulo Airport to Istanbul Airport (TK16), March 13th from SAW to Barcelona (TK1835), March 23rd from Barcelona to Istanbul (TK1854), then March 24th back to Sao Paulo from Istanbul (TK15). For my next project spanning Turkey, Spain, and Portugal, I'm seeking partnerships emphasizing lifestyle over landscapes. I propose upgrading the ticket class in exchange for showcasing the service benefits on instastories and tagging the company in trip photos as a reference. I've partnered with Rox Cappadocia Hotel, Voyager Ballons in Cappadocia, Amira Hotel in Istanbul, Fairmont Quasar in Istanbul, Seven Hills Hotel in Istanbul, and Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona. I made a booking online for my 14-year-old daughter and provided all the correct information for her name and surname. After payment with my credit card, the ticket issued has a wrong name - a combination of my name and my daughter's surname. Despite immediate feedback and multiple calls to customer service, there hasn't been a proper response from the airline yet. Cancelling and rebooking the ticket would result in both financial loss and potentially higher costs. Other airlines typically rectify such name errors promptly and issue a new ticket, which I expect from your airline as well to avoid negative social media attention. Please resolve this issue promptly before our flight in 10 days to prevent further escalation. Thank you.

Dear Community Members, My upcoming trip with Turkish Airlines from New York to Doha has hit a snag. Unfortunately, my wife is ill and will be unable to travel as planned in March. We are hoping to cancel our current reservations and rebook for a trip in October. Our new travel dates would be departing from New York to Doha on October 21, [redacted], and departing from Abu Dhabi back to New York on November 5, [redacted]. I wanted to inquire if Turkish Airlines would be able to accommodate these changes. We are prepared to provide a Medical Certificate if necessary. I am also curious about any cancellation charges we might incur and if we can proceed with rescheduling for the dates mentioned above. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Abe Chutorian MD

Dear all, I am writing regarding a flight delay with Turkish Airlines. Due to this delay, our tourists were rerouted to Ataturk Airport instead of Brussels for their flight to Paris, causing a delay in their business trip. The tourists were assured at Sabiha Gogcen Airport that they could change their return flight without penalties if they were late for their business commitments. Therefore, we need to adjust their return tickets to 26/02/[redacted] for the following flights: TK1954 AMS to IST, departing at 18:05 and arriving at 23:30, and TK376 IST to TBS, departing at 02:10 and arriving at 05:30. The booking reference is Z9WC9Y for DAVITI PATCHKORIA, NINO KHUBUA, and RUSUDAN DZADZUA. We look forward to your assistance and prompt response. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out to inquire about flight details from Kuala Lumpur. I intend to book a flight on July 2nd from Kuala Lumpur to Bologna, Italy, using Turkish Airlines TK61 with a layover in Istanbul, connecting to Turkish Airlines TK1321. During my attempt to book, I encountered an issue adding luggage to my booking. I would like to confirm if I can include an additional 23kg/30kg luggage to be checked alongside the one I already possess. Ultimately, I aim to have two checked bags and one cabin bag. Could you please provide information on the weight allowance for the existing luggage with Turkish Airlines? Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated as it will help me finalize my booking. Thank you for your assistance. Best Regards, Ms. Hanane Raziq

Address: [redacted] Mauldeth Road West Manchester M20 1AB England Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Turkish Airlines. I purchased tickets for my one-year-old son, Malik Awad, and myself to travel to Egypt with a layover in Istanbul. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely poor, affecting both my son's and my health. Our initial flight TK1996 from Manchester was delayed by 2 hours, causing us to miss our connecting flight TK696 in Istanbul without proper notification. Turkish Airlines rescheduled us for a flight to Egypt 24 hours later. We are currently stranded in Istanbul Airport without essential supplies like milk, diapers, and clothes for my son. While Turkish Airlines arranged accommodation, I had to pay for two visas at £20 each. The provided food only covers me, leaving my son without provisions. The situation has caused immense stress as my child is distressed, and the language barrier with Turkish staff adds to the difficulty. We urgently require assistance, including a full refund of our flight expenses, compensation for the service issues, and immediate provision of milk and diapers for my son. I expect a written response within 14 days. I am currently at the Hilton Hotel in Istanbul, room [redacted], and reachable via WhatsApp or Viber at [redacted]. Missing an urgent appointment in Egypt due to Turkish Airlines' failures exacerbates the situation. Turkish Airlines will be held responsible for any repercussions affecting my son, Malik Awad, or me. Sincerely, Ahmed Awad

It has been challenging to connect with a representative when dialing the Customer Service toll-free line. The individual who responded seemed impolite. Despite being advised at the counter by today's agent that we could claim Star Alliance partner UA credit through Turkish Airlines, he insisted that I call United. Upon requesting to speak with a supervisor, the person he transferred me to confirmed that the original advice was accurate. I was eager to participate in the post-call survey, but it did not prompt. Hoping for an automatic survey call, none occurred. Thus, I am utilizing this platform to convey my surprise and disappointment with the customer service experience. Improvements in this area are recommended.

Hello Team, My name is Syed Shaib Hasan Jaffari, and I have a confirmed flight on Turkish Airlines, Flight number TK714, from Istanbul to Lahore tomorrow, 03/03/[redacted], arriving at Lahore Airport on the following day at approximately 05:15 am. As per the current situation in Pakistan, Lahore Airport has suspended international operations. Considering this, I seek guidance on the next steps. I am traveling from Malta to Lahore with a layover of 7 hours and 45 minutes at Atatürk Airport, Istanbul, for flight TK714. Could I request a destination change from Lahore to Islamabad, or would this adjustment be made automatically for passengers traveling from Lahore to Islamabad if the situation remains unchanged?
