Since April 12, I have been struggling to claim the GST rebate on Expenses Claimed on form TL2. The program no longer allows for this, unlike in [redacted]. When I reviewed my [redacted] return, I noticed the GST calculation was incorrect at 51.30 instead of 86.44. Additionally, there was an issue with claiming for dependant children as my wife's income was higher. The program did not flag this error, resulting in a refund loss of $[redacted].37. I need to amend my [redacted] return due to these errors. The current program only seems to work with T slips, not handling more complex situations well. Please adjust the GST370 form to its previous functioning to resolve these issues. The system was fixed the day after I filed my [redacted] return, but the [redacted] version seems to have significant flaws.

Every year, I have been assisting with tax filings for my family, including my daughters, their spouses, and my son. This year, I have already completed our taxes along with my son and son-in-law. I still need to file for my two daughters and son-in-law, who have additional documents like T5 slips, HBP, and education expenses. I am willing to pay for a program, but I am looking for something around $34.99 to cover these additional returns. The previous returns I filed were straightforward. Can I purchase the program online for this price and use it to file the remaining three taxes without extra charges? Also, once I buy and activate the program, can I complete the filing process online? Please advise.

I encountered an issue while filing my taxes. I was inputting detailed information when my wife's details unexpectedly appeared, and I could not access the CRA on her behalf. Trying to exit caused the program to malfunction, displaying a TTC403 error. Now, all the information I entered and transferred to the CRA is gone. My [redacted] tax return appears to be locked, preventing me from accessing or completing it. I am unsure how to proceed to recover my return. When attempting to reopen the return, nothing occurs, and it seems to have vanished entirely. I am disappointed and concerned about encountering the same problem if I start a new return. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I filed my taxes through TurboTax for the [redacted] or [redacted] work year. Recently, a bank claiming to need copies of my ID and Social Security card contacted me. Despite IRS acceptance of my tax claim, I found this suspicious and consulted TurboTax. They confirmed it was their bank handling the return. Unfortunately, the bank withheld fees, and upon returning the remaining amount to the IRS, it caused a discrepancy. Consequently, the IRS is withholding over $1,[redacted] of my refund. Due to complications from being incarcerated, I lack the necessary documents to follow up with the IRS accurately. I seek guidance on how to retrieve my funds promptly.

I recently filed my taxes using TurboTax but encountered issues with a bank requesting my ID and social security card, which I found suspicious. Despite advice against sharing such personal information, I refrained, leading to my tax refund being sent back and creating complications with the IRS. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including losing access to my old TurboTax account, I am unable to track the exact amount of my refund. Although I have no way to verify my claim beyond my personal details, I am determined to resolve this matter and receive my owed money. If anyone has advice on how to proceed and recover my funds from the IRS, I would greatly appreciate the guidance.

I am looking to speak with someone about my situation. After contacting the IRS, they advised me to reach out to TurboTax because it seems like my deposit is going to them first. However, upon further investigation, I discovered it's actually going to a Chase account. I need assistance in stopping the payment as it is being deposited into the wrong checking account. I suspect the individual I sought help from attempted to redirect the payment to her account without my knowledge.

I received a GreenDot Bank check for my [redacted] amended tax return, intending to deposit it directly into my personal bank account. However, the check, amounting to $[redacted].00, was not deposited as planned. Unfortunately, the check cannot be cashed at any bank or check-cashing places due to its amount exceeding their limits and because it is issued by GreenDot. Even GreenDot cards won't accept this check due to limitations on check cashing/depositing. I'm puzzled as to why Turbo Tax issued this check when they had the correct account information. I've verified the routing and account numbers multiple times. Now, with this unusable check, I'm at a loss because no one will accept it. This error must be rectified by Turbo Tax promptly. It has caused me a significant delay in accessing my much-needed $[redacted] for several months now.

My federal refund is currently under review by the IRS, giving them a 60-day window to finalize the amount. Despite receiving multiple letters from the IRS confirming the payment and its scheduled release on May 27th, I'm concerned as I haven't been able to challenge their decision. I've tried contacting the IRS to no avail. Initially, I used Turbo Tax for filing my taxes at a cost of $[redacted], which included assistance for such situations. Yet, my attempts to reach Turbo Tax's customer service have been futile, leaving me without a resolution even after filing on February 7th, [redacted]. This ongoing issue needs urgent attention to address the root cause and ensure a timely resolution.

I utilized TurboTax to file my [redacted] taxes and opted for the premium tax service. Despite owing $4 for that tax year, I encountered an issue when attempting to file my [redacted] taxes. After reaching out to the IRS for guidance, it was revealed that there was no trace of my [redacted] tax filing, despite having payment evidence through TurboTax. Following this hurdle, I managed to complete my [redacted] taxes, resulting in a $[redacted] refund. However, the IRS later informed me that they used my refund to offset past tax obligations, leaving me with an additional $48 to pay. I aim to provide TurboTax with my payment confirmation to request a refund for the premium tax filing service fee, as there seems to be a discrepancy in their database according to the IRS.

I have been trying to file my tax return with TurboTax Full Service for three months. I am extremely frustrated as my latest contact, Gina, has not returned my calls or texts for two weeks. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and concerns raised to other personnel who promised to involve a supervisor and Gina, I have received no response. Only Heather, who assisted me in purchasing TurboTax Max, has been helpful outside of my assigned preparer. Upon reviewing my return, I noticed numerous errors that my initial preparer overlooked, leading to my return being rejected. I am currently stuck in limbo without the necessary adjustments made. I am seeking a way to escalate this issue to management or their home office but have been unable to find contact information. I would appreciate it if someone from supervision could contact me regarding this matter.

I am currently residing overseas and attempted to file my taxes online using the Free File Fillable Forms suggested by the IRS. Despite completing all the necessary forms, my submission was rejected due to the requirement of an IP PIN, which I never received. With mail delivery challenges in China due to COVID, I may not have received the IRS letter containing the IP PIN as stated in the rejection notice. This PIN is essential for online filing, and without it, I am unable to proceed. I am considering mailing the completed forms but worry they won't be processed in time for the upcoming June deadline to apply for federal college aid for my daughter. I am curious if TurboTax can assist me in resolving this situation.

I hired someone to assist with filing my taxes as a J1 student from Jamaica. They shared a screenshot indicating I was due a $3,[redacted] tax refund to be deposited into my bank. The screenshot only displayed my name and the amount. The person requested to also deposit their tax refund, to which I agreed. However, they now claim they should receive $[redacted] from the $3,[redacted], which was only listed under my name. Can one file taxes under my name without consent? Could the $[redacted] be part of the $3,[redacted] displayed in the screenshot that was addressed to me? Apologies for the lengthy query; I wish I could seek direct assistance. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I had my brother assist me with my tax return on TurboTax since I didn't have a bank account in my name. We used his bank account for the direct deposit. However, the deposit on February 24 was rejected by the bank because the return was in my name, not his. I contacted the IRS, and they advised me to reach out to TurboTax as they have my refund. It has been over two months, but getting a live person at TurboTax seems impossible. I now have my own bank account and would like the money to be deposited there since I no longer live at my previous address. I am a single, unemployed parent with three young children who need things. Please, TurboTax, help me resolve this. Waiting on hold for a call, only to be stuck with a robot, is frustrating. I hope for a prompt resolution to this issue.

I received an email yesterday from TurboTax informing me that there may be a discrepancy with my account. The email requested that I contact them immediately at [redacted]. Apparently, someone has tried to submit a tax return using my details under a different account. They have put a hold on the tax return for 48 hours to allow me to verify its authenticity. Given that I am a retired individual on Social Security and have not filed taxes for a few years due to my low income, this is troubling. I have been unable to reach TurboTax or the IRS to address this issue further. I am concerned about potential identity theft and plan to visit my bank to secure my account, notwithstanding the bills currently being paid through it. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Debra S. G.

I have been using TurboTax for many years. Recently, on 5/16/[redacted], I received an IRS audit letter regarding my [redacted] tax filing. The IRS requested information about my three kids' college tuition expenses. I promptly sent the documentation via UPS with a tracking number on 5/27/[redacted]. On 7/8/[redacted], I received an Examination package from the IRS stating that I do not qualify for the Refundable American Opportunity Credit and Education Credit. They recalculated my tax owed, including penalties and interest, totaling $7,[redacted].46. I followed TurboTax's instructions to file my taxes, and now I am facing this issue. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide since I relied on your software. My name is Ty Tu, and you can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you for your help.

I have used TurboTax for the past few years to file my taxes. Despite qualifying for the free edition, I always end up having to pay for the deluxe version after spending a significant amount of time on my taxes. This year, I was charged for the deluxe edition unknowingly and now my refund is delayed by 8 weeks. I received a notification that the amount would be deducted from my account soon, but I strongly oppose this charge as the deluxe edition did not benefit me in any way. The process should have been simple as I had no job and most of my income came from my 401k. I believe there should be an easier way to stick to the free edition, as the current setup seems more beneficial for TurboTax than for users like me.

I used TurboTax to file my daughter's [redacted] tax return but mistakenly entered the wrong direct deposit routing number. The IRS sent the deposit to a different account (possibly Green Dot) on 3/30/22. After contacting the IRS in May [redacted], a trace was initiated on the deposit. Today, my daughter and I reached out to the Bureau of Financial Services, as advised by the IRS, to inquire about the trace status. We were informed that there has been no response from the recipient of the erroneous deposit. The BFS agent escalated the request to a supervisor level in an attempt to expedite the response on the trace. Additionally, the agent recommended reaching out to TurboTax for assistance.

I used your software to file my taxes. They got accepted, but then I received a letter saying I needed to verify my identity. I went through the verification process and received a payment plan letter. Then, I got a letter with a PIN. I completed all the required steps but now I can't reach anyone to inquire about my refund. You want me to pay for your services, but I need help with my refund. It's crucial for me to receive it as everything was filed correctly. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to assist me. My name is S. H. and you can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I submitted my tax return on February 28, [redacted]. Despite this, I have not yet received my refund. I realized I made an error by not including the stimulus payment received in early [redacted] in my calculations, assuming it was for [redacted]. Upon receiving an IRS letter a month later, I found out the correct refund amount should be $[redacted] including the missed stimulus payment. The letter assured me I would receive this amount by July 15. However, to date, I have not received the funds. The IRS "where's my refund" page and their customer service provide no new information as it states my information is not available. I want this matter resolved promptly, as I am facing financial difficulties. Although I had to update my direct deposit information in August, the IRS has my correct details. The updated account information is routing number [redacted]76, account number [redacted][redacted], for Mark Lind-Hanson with SSN ending in [redacted].

I am looking for information from my [redacted] tax return from TurboTax still saved on my computer. I have been a TurboTax user since its early days on a 360kb floppy disk. I have all my previous years' TurboTax files back to 15 years ago in blue covers on a shelf, except for [redacted]. After searching for over an hour, I suspect the file is missing. I followed the activation code retrieval link but couldn't find the necessary information even after disabling my internet connection and antivirus software. I also checked the Windows program files and opened the .rtf files, but they did not contain the data I needed. I believe the account file I am trying to access is named thejimguy18199 with a password ending in m24$. Unfortunately, none of my attempts have been successful.
