I have not received my card despite being told it would be sent. After over a month and a half of waiting, I was instructed to provide a copy of my ID and a recent utility bill. However, as I live with my sister, I do not have a utility bill in my name. This situation is frustrating as not everyone has bills in their name when living with someone else. I believe my ID with the matching address should suffice for verification. I am concerned about not being able to access my funds due to this issue. What options do I have if I cannot provide a utility bill in my name? I am eager to resolve this and retrieve my funds without facing unnecessary obstacles.

I submitted my [redacted] Federal Return electronically on April 2, [redacted], and scheduled the tax payment through EFTPS to be debited from my checking account on April 15, [redacted]. To my surprise, I noticed a double withdrawal for the Federal Tax owed on that date. After contacting an EFTPS representative, it was discovered that the duplicate payment was a result of an additional Electronic Funds Transfer initiated by Turbo Tax on the e-filing date of April 2, [redacted], although the EFTPS database showed the date as April 5, [redacted]. It was unsettling because Turbo Tax did not inform me about this ACH ECC Web deduction from my checking account. The overpayment caused financial strain, and my credit union reversed the EFTPS transaction, putting the funds back into my account. The IRS also reflects the duplicate payment as of April 18, [redacted]. I am seeking clarity on how this error occurred and how to avoid it in the future as I did not authorize Turbo Tax to process the payment this way.

Hello,
My name is Marcus L. I used TurboTax this year and last year. Last year, I had some issues with a bill, but assumed it was resolved as I didn't receive any further communication. However, this year on April 16th, [redacted], $85.58 was withdrawn from my savings account without any prior notification or bill. I am concerned about this unauthorized withdrawal and would appreciate an explanation as to why this happened. If I do not receive a response, I may need to take further action. I do not want to continue using TurboTax if such incidents occur. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you.
Marcus

Hello, I'm Dantonio Wilson. I filed my taxes on February 3, [redacted]. I had to contact the IRS to confirm my identity for the tax return. I mentioned that I no longer have access to my Regions Bank account. The IRS agreed to update the account information but it seems the check will be sent to TurboTax first instead of directly to me. I'm concerned because it appears that TurboTax will cash the check before I receive it. I would like to change the payment method to avoid any delays or issues with Regions Bank. The IRS gave permission to TurboTax to update the payment details, so I would appreciate if this can be arranged to ensure a smooth transaction.

I scheduled a North Carolina state tax payment through TurboTax while filing my taxes. However, I later discovered that TurboTax does not support tax payments for North Carolina on their website. They directed me to the North Carolina Dept. of Revenue website to make the payment. I paid the taxes on their site. Unfortunately, TurboTax still withdrew the payment from my checking account for the North Carolina taxes, resulting in a double payment. This situation has caused me distress as I cannot afford to pay twice. I tried reaching out to TurboTax through their GetHuman program for a call back, but I haven't received any response. I seek a resolution by TurboTax refunding the second payment, as I have already paid twice and cannot bear the financial burden.

After discovering my first missing card with unauthorized charges, I contacted the number on the card, disputed the transactions, and was issued a new card. To my surprise, unauthorized transactions appeared on the new card even though it never left my possession. I promptly called and canceled the card, as I noticed the last four digits ([redacted]) did not match my previous card. It seems this unauthorized card is linked to my account. I am awaiting a replacement card, but I am concerned about this security breach. What steps should I take next?

Hello,
I bought the Deluxe edition from Staples in Cape Coral, Florida, and used it to file my federal and state taxes. It seemed to work well, but I found what I think might be an error on the Ohio State return, specifically on the Ohio Schedule of Credits line 12 for the Joint Filing Credit. It appears that if my wife and I had at least $[redacted] of income including IRA distributions, it should have reduced our Tax Liability, but this was not reflected in the return. We have now returned to Ohio and I am interested in looking into this further. I believe any retirement income, including our two social security incomes and RMD from our IRAs, should qualify for this credit.

When I initially filed with one W-2 from [redacted], my return was $1,[redacted]. However, I was denied a prepaid card. When I attempted to refile, I found three more W-2s - one more for [redacted] and two for [redacted]. After adding these, my return dropped to under $[redacted], with a $[redacted] state bill. This seems like a mistake, as I had to accept the filing last minute. I was charged $[redacted] twice from my account, causing $60 in fees. I am still waiting for the $[redacted] return. I might have to hire an accountant to dispute and refile my return. This unexpected situation has caused a lot of stress, with over $1,[redacted] removed from my account. I feel scammed and hope you can rectify this promptly to avoid further action.

To Whom It May Concern,
I recently used TurboTax Premier to file my [redacted] federal, Utah, and New York tax returns. Unfortunately, all of my returns were rejected for efiling due to an issue with the AGI for [redacted] not matching IRS records, despite entering the correct amount as shown in my IRS statement. This led me to contact TurboTax agents who were unable to resolve the problem, resulting in me having to file my taxes by mail, causing additional time, effort, and expense.
I believe I deserve compensation for the efiling portion of the product as it did not work correctly. As a long-time satisfied TurboTax customer, I am concerned about using the program in the future unless this issue is addressed promptly.
I kindly request confirmation of receipt of this message and hope for a prompt response addressing these concerns. Feel free to reach me at [redacted] if needed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Respectfully,
Ken B.

I initially enrolled in the self-employment tax program but later upgraded to the assist and review program after seeing advertisements for it. Unfortunately, the assist feature did not prove useful to me as I couldn't use the video feed due to my sleeping children. This led me to seek out answers on my own. When I requested a professional review, the expert's response left me with no option to ask follow-up questions, requiring me to contact TurboTax's customer service and endure long hold times. Furthermore, the professional's advice was incorrect and could have resulted in me losing out on a $[redacted].03 tax credit had I not been knowledgeable enough. I am dissatisfied with the assist and review service as it wasn't beneficial, and it almost caused my family to lose out on valuable money.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service I received from your company regarding my tax filing. Initially, I was under the impression that the filing fees were waived, but later on, I was charged. Despite seeing a message indicating the fees were waived, I still ended up being charged upon reviewing my submission. When I contacted customer service, I was met with a lack of assistance and a lecture about my misunderstanding. The manager I spoke with was unhelpful and I felt unheard about my financial situation as a disabled senior on a fixed income. I provided my banking information expecting a refund, but was instead advised to seek a walkthrough of the filing process. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with your company's handling of my situation.

I was listed as self-employed on my TurboTax return, which was accurate in the past. Now that I am retired, I couldn't find a way to correct this error on the return. When I reached a screen prompting me to choose the type of self-employment, I couldn't select an option like "none of the above" or "retired." After I picked one to proceed, I couldn't unselect it. How can I update my status to reflect that I am retired and answer the appropriate questions?

Before installing TurboTax [redacted] on a new computer, I tested TurboTax [redacted]. After creating a [redacted] Form [redacted] in the TurboTax folder, I deleted all related files, uninstalled TurboTax [redacted], and installed TurboTax [redacted] on Windows 10. After starting a new return, TurboTax indicated it found the [redacted] tax info, even though I had deleted all [redacted] files. I checked hidden files and folders but couldn't find them. I expected a window to ask about previous forms but it jumped to the "Found" window.
Question 1: Are the [redacted] files still on my computer? I can't locate them, even with hidden files showing.
Question 2: Could the [redacted] files be in a TurboTax database causing the "Found" indication?
Question 3: How can I prevent TurboTax [redacted] from falsely indicating it found [redacted] files that seem to be deleted?
Thank you,

In [redacted], I filed taxes as a single head of household, while my late husband didn't file. Unfortunately, he passed away in February, and I believe he didn't file his taxes for that year, especially for his share of capital gains from a rental property we sold. As I handle his estate now, I aim to amend our tax return to married filing jointly. Urgently, I must settle the estimated taxes due today to avoid accumulating hefty interest each month. Furthermore, I seem to have lost a substantial IRS refund check from a previous year received in [redacted]. I need to have this check re-issued to me. Ideally, I would allocate this refund to the outstanding taxes, though I realize this might not be feasible. Lastly, I also have NJ state taxes to pay.

My fiancé filed his taxes back in March, and we have not received them yet. It is almost May, and I have been attempting to reach out to your customer service. I have interacted with the automated voice system, but it is not addressing my concerns. It claims there are errors with the social security number and ZIP code, which I know are correct as my fiancé inputted them. I am seeking further details about his tax return, but have not received any updates despite it being over a month since filing. The process was supposed to take 21 days, but it has been longer. The status has shown as printed for two weeks now, yet we have not received it. I have been persistent in contacting your team for information to no avail. I would appreciate a response and assistance. Thank you.

I submitted my [redacted] information on April 13. I wanted to avoid the deluxe increase but was charged for it despite declining multiple times. Following that, I received a text informing me that the IRS rejected my federal and state returns. After providing my AGI from [redacted] as requested, my [redacted] return was still rejected. When I called for assistance, I was on hold for 1.5 hours before speaking with Jennifer, who couldn't resolve the issue and assured me of a refund by the next day. Despite her promise to call and refund my $[redacted] on Sunday at 7 pm, I did not receive any calls. I followed all instructions given, but did not receive the help I needed to file my return. I kindly request a refund of the $[redacted]. Thank you, Peggy Voorhees.

I paid $[redacted].78 for an Expert Review of my taxes, but I was disappointed with the service. The reviewer only briefly glanced at a few line numbers on the T1 General form and did not provide the detailed analysis I expected. They simply asked if the values were correct, leaving me unsure of the calculations. Furthermore, they overlooked a significant error - a duplicate T5 slip totaling over $9,[redacted]. My investment company caught this mistake through a thorough review of my tax forms, T slips, and other financial details, which I believe the TurboTax review should have included. I am requesting a refund for the unsatisfactory service provided.

I did not receive any guidance from TurboTax on what steps to take. I am looking for assistance with my previous concerns.
I am in the process of filing my [redacted] tax returns after missing the extension deadline. I made a payment of $80.79 on 10/26/[redacted] using my Visa card but encountered difficulty submitting it electronically. Despite thinking it was sent, I received a letter from the IRS stating it had not been filed.
For my [redacted] taxes, I used TurboTax and found that the return from [redacted], which I never received, was included as income for [redacted]. I prefer not to file this way until I confirm the status of my [redacted] return. I also need assistance with paying for my [redacted] return without finalizing it with the current information.
Do I need to submit the [redacted] return first? How can I proceed with submitting both the [redacted] and [redacted] returns?

I used TurboTax for my federal and New York state tax returns. While I received my federal refund promptly, I am yet to receive my New York state refund. A recent letter from the New York tax department informed me that they were unable to process my return due to an issue with my Real Property Tax Credit claim.
I do not qualify for this credit, as an error was made on my New York return. I need to file an amended return to correct this mistake. In the original return, I was expecting a refund of $[redacted], but with the correction, it will be $[redacted]. When I tried to amend my return through TurboTax, it is asking me to pay $[redacted], which is the difference between the original refund amount and the corrected one.
I believe I should not have to pay this difference as I never received any funds from New York state. I am looking for assistance to rectify this so I can submit the amended return accurately and receive the correct refund.
