I have tried reaching out through the automated system twice, and it has been unhelpful. I was directed to live chat, only to be stuck in a loop. Last time, I was 6th in line and never got a response. I am searching for a local dealer with the new four-wheel-drive self-propelled lawn mower in stock. I have checked major stores like Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and Lowes with no luck. My zip code is [redacted]. I really want to purchase this mower; please make it easier to locate a dealer with stock or offer direct sales. Can you assist me in finding a dealer with this mower for sale? I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service experience so far. Thank you, J.

I recently received a Troy-Bilt electric weed eater, the TB4200, as a gift and was thrilled to test it. However, upon inserting the battery, I noticed a burnt smell. Examination revealed the battery had arched, leading to melted prongs. After opening the weed eater, I observed a prong had shifted, possibly due to a design flaw. The prongs within the battery and weed eater had melted. Despite keeping it in good condition with the tags intact, I'm uncertain how to obtain a replacement as it was a gift. Has anyone encountered this issue before? It appears to be a recurring problem. Any guidance on obtaining a functional unit would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance. Have a wonderful day.

I recently bought a new Troy-Bilt XP 21 in. Honda Gas Walk Behind Self Propelled Lawn Mower with High Rear Wheels and a 3-in-1 TriAction Cutting System.
Last Friday (9/25) was the first time I used the mower, and it did a fantastic job cutting the lawn in a shorter time than my previous mowers. The rear wheel propulsion functioned well, but I couldn't get the front wheels to engage. Despite reading the manuals and watching online tutorials, I was unsuccessful in resolving the issue.
I suspect the front wheel belt may have come off during delivery by Home Depot. What steps should I take to fix this problem?
Thank you.

I need some assistance as I have been monitoring Troy-Bilt's website for FLEX Attachments sales for months. Recently, I discovered that the Chipper/Shredder, Leaf Blower, and Mower attachments are not only discounted but also unavailable. Despite being informed by a representative that there were no upcoming sales, the items are now inaccessible with greyed-out "Add to Cart" buttons. Despite being assured before that there would be no discontinuation of the product, I am now having trouble finding these essential items for my FLEX system. With a considerable investment in the system, I am eager to locate these attachments. I have even referred friends to purchase them. Is there a way to request a thorough search for these specific attachments? Thank you.

I purchased a Troy-Bilt Pony 42 riding lawnmower from HomeDepot on 4/29/[redacted], and it stopped working on 9/5/[redacted] after less than 5 months and under 5 hours of use. The repair shop found no oil in the machine, causing engine damage and oil spillage in the components. This seems like a manufacturer's error as the instructions indicate it comes with oil already. I only checked the oil gauge, as advised, and it was fine. Troy-Bilt insists it's my fault for not adding oil, even though it should not need oil after such a short time. They want me to pay $[redacted] for repairs on a $[redacted] machine. It's disappointing how big corporations treat their customers unfairly. I have other Troy-Bilt products that have been great for years. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for listening to my concerns.

We purchased a brand new Troy-Bilt Super Bronco XP 46 in. Fabricated Deck with a 22 HP V-Twin Kohler [redacted] Series Engine and Hydrostatic Drive Gas Riding Lawn Mower from Home Depot.com for $[redacted].00. Unfortunately, the mower was defective as it wouldn't hold a battery charge despite multiple attempts. Home Depot picked it up, and thinking it was a one-time issue, we ordered the same model again, only to encounter the same problem - the battery still won't hold a charge. Additionally, upon delivery, we noticed staples in the tire. We are currently waiting for Home Depot.com to arrange for another pickup. However, with their system currently down, we are left without a solution. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection due to this frustrating experience. It's disappointing, and I doubt I will purchase a Troy-Bilt product again. It's disheartening to have two brand new riding mowers and not be able to use either of them.

I have hardly used this lawn mower, and I believe I should either receive a refund or a replacement mower. It is disheartening when someone on a fixed income saves up to purchase a product that doesn't even last a single summer. The website keeps directing me to call the [redacted] number, but upon calling, I am only met with a recording. I am unable to speak with a real person. Troy-Bilt's lack of customer service makes me suspect that they are aware of issues with their equipment. If this is the case, they should either improve the products or provide a disclaimer. I tried contacting the mechanic suggested by the recording, but they no longer service Troy-Bilt due to payment issues. If this message doesn't clarify my situation adequately, please arrange for a human representative to reach out to me for further explanation.

I own an Old Troy Bilt Pony rear-tine rototiller that I use on slate ground instead of traditional soil. I've been using it on a steep terraced hillside, but the machine is difficult to manage, especially with its current speed, which has caused safety concerns. Despite adjusting the belts and motor, it remains challenging to handle, and the risk of injury is high due to its uncontrollable speed.
As an 80-year-old veteran with limited resources, purchasing a new tiller is not a feasible option for me. I'm seeking advice on how to reduce the speed effectively to operate the machine safely on my hillside without risking harm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I recently acquired a Troy-Bilt lawn mower TB-[redacted], which boasted of being a no prime, no choke model. After assembling it, the mower started effortlessly on the first pull. However, the next day, it proved difficult to start, requiring multiple pulls as if not receiving sufficient gas. Once running, it sounded as if the gas flow was insufficient, gradually improving after a minute of operation. Disappointed, as the advertising for the mower emphasized its easy start feature, I also discovered the 30-day money-back return policy only applied to new, unused mowers. This limitation has left me feeling dissatisfied with my purchase.

I purchased a Troy Bilt 27-ton log splitter from Home Depot last year. After storing it properly, I recently tried to use it without success. Customer support was unhelpful, denying warranty coverage for a seized valve due to moisture. Despite explaining my situation, they insisted it was my fault. I am frustrated as I have a history of trouble-free Troy Bilt purchases and even bought the extended warranty. Now, I am left with a costly repair for what seems like a factory defect. I asked for a supervisor but received no resolution. Financially, this situation is a burden as I have no extra income. I urgently need assistance with this issue as I cannot afford to pay for a problem that was not caused by me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing a problem with my Troy Bilt Pony mower and have reached out to various service dealers for warranty repairs. Unfortunately, I have faced challenges in finding a local service provider willing to repair the transmission or rear end due to different reasons provided by Athens Lawn and Garden, Quick Fix in Dayton, and Dayton Powersports. Contacting customer service was also unhelpful as they suggested a service center that is three hours away without offering any other solutions. Given the difficulties I have encountered, I am now considering returning the mower in exchange for a new one or a refund since I cannot be without a mower for an extended period or transport it for service far away. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I bought a Troy-Bilt Lawn Tractor Model No. 13AB77BS023 and Serial No. 1L189B300095 on May 4, [redacted], in Northern New York State for summer use. On August 10, [redacted], I noticed oil leaking and had it picked up for repairs on August 12, [redacted]. The repair requires a case seal (pto seal) part no. [redacted] [redacted] 34 and a base gasket part no. [redacted] [redacted] 42. Despite the urgency, I am experiencing delays in getting the replacement parts, which has led to my request for a replacement mower due to the extended repair time. Both cases [redacted]68 and [redacted]2 have been opened with Troy Bilt regarding this issue, but they have stated they will not replace the mower. As of October 22, [redacted], the mower remains unrepaired, and I have had to pay $60.00 weekly for lawn mowing assistance since August. I am considering purchasing another mower brand if this issue is not resolved promptly. A resolution to replace the mower and reimburse my out-of-pocket mowing expenses is requested. Thank you.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I recently spoke with one of your customer service representatives, Daryl, who abruptly ended our call without reason around 9:30 AM Eastern Time. I am hopeful that the call was recorded for reference.
Initially, I encountered difficulty with the product right out of the box as I couldn't shift it. Upon contacting customer service, I was advised to have it serviced at an authorized dealer. After providing my zip code, I was directed to a dealer in Warwick. I inquired about pick-up service as I don't own a truck, and was told to contact the dealer directly. Upon doing so, I was informed they offer pick-up for $[redacted]. After using the tractor a few times, the battery failed.
When I called customer service again to explain my predicament, I was told they couldn't assist over the phone. When I questioned this, the representative abruptly hung up on me. I am disappointed with both the product and the customer service experience. Thank you, Jerry Bernier.

Hello, I'm Massimo Antonini writing from Italy to express my satisfaction with your product. Despite my English not being perfect, I wanted to share my positive experience with my Troy Bilt TB110 BRIGGS & STRATTON 550EX mower. After using it daily for four years, I only needed to replace the blade, which is impressive. I received this product from my sister in the US and I've been extremely happy with it. Now, I'm considering upgrading to a larger, more powerful model, like a small tractor, but unfortunately, they are not readily available in Italy. I have recommended the TROY BUILT brand to all my friends in the US due to the quality of your products. Thank you for providing great products and keep up the excellent work. Address: Mr. Antonini Massimo, Via Di Quarto Annunziata, 11 - [redacted] Rome, Italy. Email: [redacted] Phone: +39 [redacted]. Thanks again.

Today I received a shipment, but to my disappointment, the packaging was poorly taped, and the steering shaft and pinion gear were missing. I'm kindly requesting a prompt replacement to be sent with adequate packaging. Given the upcoming holiday, I would appreciate receiving the steering shaft and pinion gear promptly. I've already spent an hour and fifteen minutes on hold attempting to reach customer service. The part number in question is [redacted]B. Please expedite the shipment of the replacement part. Thank you. As someone with prior experience in shipping and receiving, I understand the importance of secure packaging, especially for heavy items like this one.

I own a Troy-Bilt 21" self-propelled mower that worked well until the end of last summer. I had the spark plug replaced, but it still won't start. Today, after adding gas, it started but immediately stopped. I managed to start it again, but it only stayed running when pushed down with the handle to the ground, stalling after a few minutes. Even when propped up, it loses power and stops running. I cleaned out the area where the blades spin and ensured there is fresh gas and oil. Despite being out of warranty, I'm seeking any suggestions. The model is TB230 with 725EX190cc. Any help is appreciated. - Linda M.

I own a Troy-Bilt riding lawn mower with a 46-inch dual blade deck. It operates perfectly on deck heights four, five, and six, but when switched to one, two, or three, the engine sound changes and the blades seem to spin slowly, resulting in inefficient grass cutting. I have already replaced the belt, oil filter, and air filter, and ensured proper tire pressure and deck leveling.
I aim to be able to cut the grass consistently on deck heights two or three, regardless of grass growth or the season.

My Troy-Bilt push mower caught fire after use and shut down, luckily no injuries occurred. I have observed recalls for similar fire issues on other mower models. The specific model is 11A-B2BM766 purchased in [redacted], now out of warranty. I am concerned about the gas cap not sealing correctly, causing gas to leak from the filler tube. I hope this defect can be rectified to prevent any harm to others. Despite this incident, we have received great service from Troy-Bilt over the years, including a tiller used for 35 years. I have followed all maintenance and storage recommendations, so I had not anticipated the mower failing after only 5 years. I trust this safety issue will be addressed promptly.

I am experiencing a concern with my new Troy-Bilt Pony mower. When I engage the transmission, the mower takes off suddenly and is difficult to control, posing a safety hazard. Although I have extensive experience working on equipment, I am unable to resolve this issue. This is my second Troy-Bilt Pony, and I used the previous one for over 20 years without any problems. I suspect there may be a missing or malfunctioning spring causing this erratic behavior.
