Can I use ethanol-blended fuel in my Troy-Bilt chainsaw?

Asked a year ago
It is not recommended to use ethanol-blended fuel in Troy-Bilt chainsaws. Ethanol can cause damage to the fuel system, engine components, and reduce overall performance. Troy-Bilt suggests using gasoline with a maximum of 10% ethanol (E10) or a non-ethanol fuel. Ethanol may lead to corrosion, clogging, and improper fuel mixture, resulting in starting issues, reduced power, and potential engine problems. Using the wrong fuel can void the warranty and potentially shorten the lifespan of your chainsaw. It is advisable to check the owner's manual or contact Troy-Bilt's customer service for specific fuel recommendations, ensuring optimal chainsaw performance and longevity.
