Dear TripAdvisor Representative,
I am writing to address your recent response concerning the one-star review titled “Uncomfortable Seating” that was posted on October 13, [redacted]. I would like to elaborate on why we believe this review is inaccurate and discriminatory in hopes that you will reconsider your decision.
The reviewer was seated at a table for two next to a group of two couples in their 30s who were dressed casually but appropriately. Despite one lady wearing a knitted top with small cutouts at the waist, the attire was not revealing. The reviewer and her companion abruptly left before even placing an order and did not request to be moved to another table. The neighboring patrons indicated that the reviewer might have overheard their political discussion and left due to disagreement.
Allowing a one-star rating based on personal bias regarding another patron’s attire or body type is unjust and discriminatory. We were not given the opportunity to address the situation, and it is unfair to judge our establishment based on this incident.
We kindly ask you to reconsider your evaluation of this review as it may set a precedent for others to express discriminatory views unrelated to our food or service.

I purchased tickets for an airboat tour at Everglades Holiday Park through TripAdvisor for $45 each. Upon being asked for a hotel pick-up which I declined as I am local, providing my contact details, there was no response. I called the company number provided by TripAdvisor, but they were located in the Bahamas and referred me to another number. Despite trying to call, the voicemail was full, leaving me unable to leave a message. Arriving early at the park with my overseas guest, we waited for an hour with no sign of the tour group or vehicle. Unfortunately, it seems I have fallen victim to a scam and I am seeking a refund of $90. The booking reference is BR-[redacted]96.

I recently received an inquiry, and when I tried to respond, I couldn't access my account. The screen prompted me to enter a code, but it didn't display any phone numbers, preventing me from receiving the code. Even after requesting the code, I encountered an error message. I haven't received any calls or codes on my two phone numbers, which are essential for responding to the inquiry and updating my calendar. I had a booking for a Northern Lights Snowmobiling Experience on Langjökull Glacier departing from Gullfoss on Friday, November 29th at 18:00. I was informed by the tour operators that the trip had to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions. They directed me to contact TripAdvisor for the refund since they hold the payment for the tour. Can someone advise me on how to proceed with obtaining a refund for my booking?

I am requesting a refund for the two lounge passes I bought today. My 90-year-old father and wheelchair-bound mother were flying with Singapore Airlines on December 5th. Despite our efforts, they almost missed their flight due to the extended airport procedures. I made a reservation in San Jose, Costa Rica for September 10-17 with the expectation of air conditioning. Unfortunately, my room did not have this feature. When I raised this concern, I was offered another unit at an increased cost of $[redacted]. Unwilling to accept this tactic, I chose to move to a different hotel and sought a refund for the one night I stayed. Despite my efforts to contact management for a refund as promised, I was unsuccessful. After involving MasterCard, a refund of $[redacted].75 was issued following a dispute. However, Barclays could only reinstate $[redacted].50, leaving me frustrated. I am disappointed by the lack of resolution and adherence to the TripAdvisor Guarantee. It is disheartening to encounter false advertising in this situation.

I was charged for it, but later received a cancellation notification, explaining that the operator doesn't have a tour that day. The operator mentioned that Trip Advisor should issue me a refund. Today, when I tried to check our flights on the Etihad Airways website, I couldn't find any information about our booking. I am able to view the business profile when logged into the TripAdvisor app; however, when I search for the restaurant by its name "Seleeta Restaurant," it does not appear in the results. I am requesting that TripAdvisor remove my unauthorized listing, "Serenity on the Lake" in Maroochydore, from its website. I have not registered with TripAdvisor, do not intend to, and have not authorized anyone to list my accommodation on the site. The information currently displayed is outdated and could potentially lead to legal consequences due to misleading advertising laws in Australia. Thank you.

Hello, I have made a flight reservation for myself and my husband, Farida Aslam and Aslam Pervez, from London to Karachi, Pakistan on 21/12/19 with Etihad Airways for 10 January [redacted]. My contact person was Mr. Chris Josef. Unfortunately, I couldn't find our flight confirmation on the Etihad Airways website, so I reached out to Chris. Hello. I made a reservation for a lobster dive in La Jolla, San Diego on December 17 at 5:30 pm using Tripadvisor. I received a receipt and an online ticket. As a result, we made separate bookings for the Accademia Tour at 10 a.m. and the Uffizi Tour at 2 p.m. on the same day.

I made a reservation ([redacted]) for a snorkeling adventure in Hawaii set for today, 12/26. I made the reservation on 12/24 and was charged $[redacted] by TripAdvisor. Today, the tour operator informed us that the excursion is fully booked, and we are unable to participate.
This is highly disappointing! If your website displays availability and processes my payment, it should have available slots.
The main purpose of online reservations is to reflect “real-time” availability. It is misleading and unacceptable to suggest real-time booking while significant delays occur (over a day).
I have been a loyal user of TripAdvisor, contributing reviews and booking various activities. Unfortunately, my confidence in your services has been shaken.
Kindly arrange for a $[redacted] refund to my credit card.
