In February [redacted], both my husband's and my Tracfone started malfunctioning. I reached out to the company and received a replacement for his phone but was advised to follow up after three days for mine. Despite multiple calls, the phone replacement never arrived, causing a frustrating back and forth for 5 months. Following the company's request, I mailed the phone back on August 4th, [redacted], with the label they provided. Despite contacting them 3-4 more times, the issue persists. The latest agent could not confirm my account and asked me to wait another 3-5 business days, leaving me exasperated. I am confused and concerned as none of the promises made by different agents seem to materialize. I feel cheated after paying for a phone and a year's service plan. The lack of clarity and resolution in this situation is truly frustrating.

My Tracfone is unable to send or receive text messages even though I have unlimited texts, calls, and data until 12/22/22. Despite contacting Tracfone support and receiving new SIM cards, the issue persists. I've tried erasing data from my phone but can't restore it due to not receiving verification codes via text. The call keeps getting disconnected when transferred to a higher level of support.

Last week, I purchased a replacement Tracfone on tracfone.com, but I made an error during the activation process, which left my phone not registered on the Tracfone network. As a result, I am unable to make calls, send texts, or access my data plan. My service is due to expire on June 19th next year.
Following a one-hour online chat with the technical department yesterday, I was advised to buy a Tracfone SIM card to restore my phone service. I have acquired the new SIM card as instructed. The technician requested that I return to provide my IMEI number and SIM card number to link them to my existing phone number.
I am currently connected via Comcast internet for this chat. Please send an identification verification code to my email on file.

I purchased an unlocked phone without a sim card and later bought a TracFone sim card pack with T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon sims. I activated my phone online using the AT&T sim card. However, upon trying to connect to the network, I received an error message, "Activation incomplete, contact service provider, internal error [redacted]." I then attempted to use the text message route [redacted] and was directed to a website. After contacting TracFone support, they informed me that the sim is connected to my phone and advised me to wait for activation. Despite waiting for 16 hours, my phone still cannot connect properly – I am able to send texts and use data, but all calls immediately disconnect.

I recently changed my number, [redacted], from a Rebel 4 (from Tracfone) back to an Alcatel due to numerous problems with the Rebel 4. After the transfer, I encountered even more issues with the Alcatel. Despite requesting to revert to the original number on the Rebel 4, I was misled multiple times, resulting in my Alcatel number being disconnected without restoring the Rebel 4 number. Now, my Rebel 4 is unusable. I have reached out to customer service multiple times without resolution. I hope this time, you can assist me effectively without disconnecting the call abruptly.

I received an email to upgrade to a Volte phone from Tracfone. I am attempting to activate the new phone, but I am unable to receive the verification code sent to my Tracfone due to poor weather affecting my cell signal. I have been unsuccessful in getting assistance through online chat. As a long-time customer since [redacted], I am not tech-savvy and do not have a landline. I have been trying to resolve this issue all day yesterday and today. My goal is to activate the new phone, retain my current number, and transfer my unused minutes/service time. In January, I noticed my service was disconnected due to personal reasons relating to my husband's health issues. On June 28, my phone suddenly stopped making or receiving calls and messages, but internet was still working. After contacting customer service, I went through security checks, provided my enrollment ID, and endured troubleshooting for my SIM card, ICCID, IMEI, and serial numbers, each containing 15 digits. Despite 3 hours of troubleshooting, my phone remained nonfunctional, prompting a planned call to the corporate office the following day. Surprisingly, the next day my phone started working without the need to contact them. However, on July 29, my phone malfunctioned again, leading to a similar ordeal with a failed callback promise. The pattern repeated on Aug 6 with internet connectivity issues and Aug 16 with call problems. On Sep 7, a concerned friend, unable to reach me for over a week, visited me since I live alone. Attempts made on Sep 9 and 10 to address the persisting issues resulted in repeated troubleshooting sessions and unkept callback promises, leaving me frustrated with the lack of resolution.

Since September 1, [redacted], I've been patiently waiting for my replacement phone. The tracking number for the returned phone is 1Z6980XX[redacted], which was received on the same day. My ticket number is [redacted], and the associated tracking number for the "air ticket" shipping label to return my old phone is [redacted][redacted]. Despite numerous calls to Tracfone support, I'm still without my replacement phone. I was asked to provide information about the last two calls I made, which I cannot recall, and then for the credit card used for the purchase, which I didn't use for this transaction. They suggested sending a code via text, but that won't work as they have the phone in their possession. I feel stuck in a cycle with customer service and no resolution in sight.

Yesterday, I attempted to purchase additional minutes for my cell phone with the number [redacted]. During the process, I encountered an issue where my credit card information was labeled as invalid. Despite trying again, the same problem persisted. I ended up purchasing the minutes from an external provider, Prepaid Phone Zone. After completing the transaction, I reviewed my bank statement and noticed that I was charged three times, even though the initial two transactions were flagged as invalid. I am seeking a refund for the two Trackfone orders, which amount to $43.48 in total.

After numerous emails, hours of phone calls, and written letters including 4 FCC complaints, I have not received any assistance. My issue involves two phones: [redacted], which has autopay of around $36 on the 8th of the month from my debit card without any problems. The other number, [redacted], was shut off in January to send me a new phone, and I was advised to keep paying my plan to retain my [redacted] minutes of service, which I did. When I received the new phone in March, my plan was switched, and I lost my [redacted] minutes, now paying $17.50 on the first of the month. I am seeking clarification on the $34 payment on the 12th of the month, which you claim to have no record of despite me providing 7 months of bank statements illustrating the charge. I demand details of all three debit transactions, a refund for the charges on the 12th of the month, reimbursement for the [redacted] minutes, cessation of the unexplained payment, and the correct address to submit court documents, as previous attempts were unsuccessful. Please communicate via U.S. mail for written confirmation. If you need to call, do so between 8:00 and 9:00 AM as requested by the FCC. I contacted customer support to upgrade my service to include a hotspot. The representative, Nina, initially claimed they didn't offer that service. Despite using my rewards points in the past, which should have included the hotspot, I persuaded her to investigate further. It took some time, but she eventually agreed to change my plan. However, during the payment process, she asked unrelated personal questions about other properties I might own, which made me uncomfortable. I expressed my concerns about sharing unnecessary personal information. Due to my dyslexia, I found it challenging to communicate clearly with her. Nina's insistence on repeating information several times and asking me to spell everything slowly felt unnecessary and frustrating. I believe every customer deserves respectful treatment, regardless of their circumstances.

I inadvertently erased my iPhone 14 Pro Max using Find My iPhone, resulting in the loss of all data. Despite contacting Straight Talk for assistance, I have not made any progress in over a week with restoring my cellular service. I am unable to make or receive calls or texts. I originally bought the iPhone from the Straight Talk website, but their customer support has been unhelpful.
Although Apple has assisted me in accessing the phone, the main issue lies with my carrier, Straight Talk, which claims the iPhone is activated on their end. However, I am still unable to use the cellular service even though I am paying for it.

I was previously enrolled in auto-refill when my bank informed me of a debit card fraud issue, resulting in the issuance of a new card. Subsequently, I forgot about my auto-refill, leading to the deactivation of my service. I am utilizing a government-issued phone from Tracfone. They are requiring me to purchase a new phone before reactivating my service, which is unnecessary as my current phone suffices for my requirements. I have owned this phone for over a year with MetroPCS, but I decided to switch to Total by Verizon due to inconsistent pricing. Now they are asking me to scan the phone at the store to activate it, but I can't because it's been over a year. I have spent $70 on minutes and now they are treating me like I stole the phone, which is extremely disrespectful. I need help activating my phone with the number [redacted]. I have been billed for it for a year now and I have tried speaking to 2 or 3 representatives about this, but the charges continue due to an ongoing autopay issue. The phone was never used, yet the autopay charges persist. Could you please address this promptly as you charge at the beginning of each month, and I want to avoid further charges. I purchased a phone on 11/14/22 at store [redacted] (transaction [redacted]) at 5:35 PM at Dollar General in Warren, Ohio ([redacted] Parkman Rd). I got it as a gift for my elderly father who has trouble dialing certain numbers. Unfortunately, he misplaced the phone while visiting a relative. I suspect it's in the house, but I can't use the app to locate it. When I called for help, they requested the credit card information used (ending in [redacted]), which is on my receipt. However, they claim it's incorrect. I spent an hour trying to talk to someone, but the representative said they couldn't assist without phone authentication. The situation seems suspicious to me, especially after they easily took the payment from my account.

After using a Tracfone flip phone for years, I recently had to upgrade to a new smartphone from Walmart. Unfortunately, the new smartphone stopped working after just one month. Tracfone instructed me to send it back for a replacement, which they provided in the form of a refurbished phone. I paid $52 for the original phone at Walmart, but the replacement isn't working with my account. Despite renewing my service contract for a year in July [redacted], Tracfone was unable to locate my account when I called for assistance. This has left me out of pocket for the service fees and the defective phone, and now I am stuck with a refurbished phone that I cannot activate.
