I recently ordered a phone online but I am experiencing data issues. Despite having unlimited call and text, I can't make calls or send texts. I contacted TracFone's Safelink customer service at [redacted] twice tonight. However, I encountered some issues during both calls:
1. They failed to follow through on their promise to have a higher tier tech person call me back.
2. The second call got disconnected after speaking with a higher tier technical representative for 20 minutes.
My concern is as follows:
1. I only have one phone number, [redacted], and one phone to address this problem.
2. I kindly request that you respond to this email with detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to resolve the issue of not being able to receive MMS messages with images or emojis.
When I try to receive MMS messages, I receive texts from Safelink informing me of failures and asking to retry, but nothing happens after retrying.
Please provide instructions so I can both receive and send MMS messages. I appreciate your prompt assistance in solving this matter. Thank you.

I purchased an LG Journey phone for $32.55 on December 24, [redacted], using my Capital One Credit Card. Unfortunately, the phone has not been delivered yet. When I attempt to track the order, it is showing that no such order exists. I bought this phone as a temporary solution since I misplaced my other LG phone somewhere in my cluttered apartment. I was informed by your company that my old Tracfone was becoming obsolete and that they would be sending me a new BLU VIEW 3 phone. Despite following the simple activation instructions, I have been unable to make any calls on the new phone or my old one since the transfer. I even purchased a plan to ensure a smooth transition. Despite receiving confirmation emails, my phone service remains inactive. Contacting customer service has been impossible as all I encounter are automated messages directing me back and forth between numbers without any resolution. Even purchasing a new pin-code did not help. Finally speaking to a representative led to being disconnected while being transferred to another department. The frustration of not being able to speak with a live person is disheartening. If this issue is not resolved, I will have to consider switching to a different provider after being a loyal customer. I am attempting to switch my phone service from TracFone to Xfinity Mobile while retaining my phone number [redacted]. Despite my efforts over the past few weeks, TracFone is rejecting my IMEI, which seems unusual and possibly against regulations. When contacting them, I have been continuously placed on hold and then transferred to a department labeled "Boarding," only to be disconnected. I had hoped that GetHuman could provide genuine assistance, as I am unable to call TracFone using my current phone. I own an iPhone 6 with Tracfone service using Verizon towers. Please contact me via email because I am uncertain if I can receive text messages. I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to send security codes, reset passwords, or receive banking messages, and I receive a notification stating, "You were unable to send a text message due to a device restriction or insufficient funds." I can receive texts from friends but have not been able to resolve this problem. Despite contacting Tracfone and Apple, restoring my phone to factory settings, unblocking numbers, and deleting recent apps, the issue persists. Additionally, I am encountering a message regarding allowing another device access to my photos, potentially related to using a backup battery. I have already contacted two different managers from the corporate office regarding my replacement phone. Despite assurances of a prompt replacement, the phone has yet to arrive. The first manager claimed there was nothing they could do, while the second promised a delayed shipment due to the warehouse oversight. After waiting the initial 3-5 days for the delayed shipment, the phone has still not been sent. Each time I call back for an update, I either get no resolution or get disconnected. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of communication and accountability. If given the chance, I would reach out to the CEO to express my dissatisfaction. I am still waiting for my replacement phone from TracFone and demand answers for the delay.

I have been a Tracfone customer for over 20 years, transitioning from Tracfone branded phones to unlocked smartphones like the iPhone SE, iPhone 8, LG Nexus 5 running Ubuntu OS, and a Google Pixel. I had two Tracfone SIM cards for years, one permanently in my iPhone 8 and the other rotated between the other smartphones with no issues until recently. Tracfone notified me that my phone would stop working on Feb 22 and offered a free refurbished Samsung phone to replace it. Initially, the new phone worked perfectly with my existing SIM card, but after two weeks, I started experiencing network errors despite trying various troubleshooting steps provided by Tracfone support. They also mistakenly reduced my data, text, and minutes allowance. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue through chats and calls with Tracfone, the problem persists. I have ordered a new SIM card from Tracfone to try to fix the issue myself. At this point, I am disappointed with the service and considering switching to a different provider. On February 1st, I activated my new Motorola One 5G Ace with a TracFone SIM card, yet after multiple support attempts, my phone still can't send photos or connect to group messages. The error message states, "MESSAGE NOT SENT: SERVICE NOT ACTIVATED ON NETWORK." I found it strange because my previous UMIDIGI phone was working fine and compatible with 4G and VoLTE. Despite being advised by TracFone to replace it, one agent suggested the SIM card might be the issue. I tried a new SIM card in the UMIDIGI and suddenly lost the ability to send photos and group texts with the same error message. Could this be a widespread problem with TracFone's SIM cards? It's frustrating that tech support hasn't been able to resolve this. It took me a while to find out that UMIDIGI wasn't certified by ATT, causing the issue. I hope TracFone can look into the SIM card quality to avoid such inconveniences in the future. Your prompt help and advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently purchased a new phone to replace my AT&T one and activated it with a Tracfone SIM card. The new phone works well in my GSM area, but Tracfone is refusing to transfer the other phone I bought, which is a CDMA device that doesn't work in my location. Both phones have been activated, each with different numbers. Initially, I tried to obtain a GSM phone from Tracfone, but they mistakenly provided me with a free CDMA phone. As this doesn't work in my area, I bought another phone, believing it was GSM, but it turns out it's not. Now, I'm attempting to transfer the number from the CDMA phone to the new AT&T device so I can have a functional phone where I live. I have no attachment to either of these new numbers and ultimately aim to transfer my original number, held for over a decade, to a suitable phone for my home. Despite deactivating my working AT&T GSM phone to try to transfer the number, Tracfone has been uncooperative. Recently, I received a threatening text about replacing my phone or losing service on both phones I've used for years, yet they offer no guidance on obtaining a GSM phone that is compatible with their SIM card.

I have been on the phone for hours trying to resolve an issue with my phone and one-year service plan. Despite having paid $[redacted].32 for an iPhone and service, my phone remains unactivated. The troubleshooter claimed they have no record of my payment, but I have a copy of my bill from Discovery showing transaction number [redacted]0YVLRP9JZ. The phone number listed on the bill is [redacted] FL, yet when I attempt to sign in with [redacted], Tracfone insists it does not exist. I am incredibly frustrated with the lack of assistance and the feeling that my payment of $[redacted].32 may have been for nothing.

I am currently trying to order a "free" replacement Tracfone but I am unable to finalize the order. The website requires a Security code to be sent via TEXT to my registered cell phone, which is not receiving any signal due to tower upgrades. As I only have a LANDLINE that doesn't receive texts, I'm unable to proceed with the order. Tracfone does not offer to send the security code to my email address, and borrowing a phone from neighbors is not a viable option. I am waiting for Tracfone Customer Care to call me back on my landline. I appreciate GetHuman for providing me with the Tracfone phone number. I hope that the callback will be received within 6 hours, but I'm not very optimistic about the resolution of my issue until Tracfone updates their website to support customers like me who rely on landlines in rural areas when cell signals fail.

Since February 24th, I suddenly lost phone service on my cell phone after returning to Galveston from a trip. While texting and other phone features work, I cannot make or receive calls on my Samsung S9 plus through Tracfone, a service I've used for two decades. I've spent three days on hold with customer service and interacted with multiple tech support agents who keep transferring me to higher levels, only to have calls dropped. Despite efforts, my issue remains unresolved, and my text service was even inadvertently removed on March 2nd. Renewing my service with them a week prior, changing carriers isn't easy financially. The delays, dropped calls, and repeated troubleshooting have become frustrating, leaving me unable to use basic phone functions. It's challenging to dedicate hours to resolving this ongoing problem and contacting tech support without interruptions or waits that exceed the estimated timeframe.

I tried to transfer my phone number from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 12 Pro I purchased on Craigslist. Every time I attempted the switch with a BYOP TracFone SIM card, I received a message saying the device is Blocked due to being Blacklisted by Verizon Wireless. I've returned the iPhone 12 Pro and got a refund. Now, I plan to buy an iPhone 11 from TracFone. I want to know if transferring my number to the new iPhone 11 will be an issue. Hello, this is Richard. I am unable to access my Tracfone account because my password was hacked and changed. Despite trying the code they sent, my service was stopped, and I was advised to order a new phone for $4.95. I prefer to keep my current phone and transfer everything to the new one. I do not have antivirus software on my flip phone, so I am concerned about security. Repeating the process with a new Tracfone card might lead to a similar situation. A few days ago, I received a notice about my 3G LG Tracfone service about to be terminated. I called and spoke with agent "Rosalita" who requested either my pin # (which I hadn't used for many years) or the last 4 digits of a credit card. I provided the credit card #. Rosalita checked with a manager who deemed this method ineligible. I was then transferred to get a pin #, only to be redirected to the same customer service line. After 45 minutes, an agent named Rudy or Ruby, with a soft voice, answered. When I asked for clarification on their name, they abruptly ended the call and my service was deactivated. I require Tracfone to uphold their commitment of providing a free compatible phone for the current network. - E. Godwin

For two days, I've been trying to resolve my issues with TracFone over the phone all day. When attempting to log into my account, I keep receiving an error message stating that the email provided is not associated with their records. Furthermore, it indicates that my device is not permitted to create or access an account. After speaking with a representative for over an hour, I was promised a transfer to corporate but ended up on hold and then redirected to the automated system. I've been waiting for 40 minutes now. In addition, despite being enrolled, I am unable to apply my SafeLink minutes to my phone. I am disappointed with the level of service provided by TracFone representatives and may escalate this issue to the attorney general's office in Massachusetts if not resolved promptly.

I contacted customer service and have already spent two days trying to address my issue. Unfortunately, they no longer offer free phones and I was unsatisfied with the options on their website, so I bought a Tracfone in person. Despite attempting to transfer my number quickly, the website was not functioning properly, and I was unable to retain my existing number. Even after multiple calls to customer service, where I was disconnected several times, the phone I purchased is not connecting to the network. This is the second time this has happened; the previous non-functioning phone was bought from Walmart. It is frustrating to deal with non-working phones and ineffective customer service. In the future, I will ensure the phone is functional before leaving the store to avoid this hassle.
