I am receiving multiple texts from Tracfone instructing me to contact their customer care center at 1-[redacted] to complete a transaction. These texts have been coming in relentlessly, day and night, with more than 2-3 messages daily. Despite my previous requests to stop, the texts have resumed. I am currently facing a personal tragedy and dealing with a high level of stress. These messages greatly exacerbate my anxiety, especially considering my geographic distance from my family. I implore you to reach out to me for resolution as soon as possible. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly.

I received an email from Tracfone stating that I needed to upgrade my phone due to network changes. I purchased a new phone, but I keep getting a "no network available" message when I try to make a call. I had over [redacted] minutes that were supposed to be transferred to the new phone, but I can't access that information. I've been trying to resolve this for over two weeks by contacting Tracfone, but I'm still facing issues. This situation has been frustrating for me.

I recently received the phone I purchased from your online store, unfortunately, it does not work in our basement. We attempted multiple times to make and receive calls with it from down there, even powering the phone off and on, to no avail. Oddly, with my old phone, I have never encountered any issues with calls in the basement. Though it's disappointing, the old phone will soon be outdated.

I recently received the phone I purchased from the Tracfone online store, and unfortunately, it does not have good reception in our basement. I would like to return it. Despite multiple attempts, the phone fails to connect for calls when we are in the basement. Unlike the new phone, my old LG Tracfone has always allowed me to make and receive calls without any issues in the same location.
Could you please advise on the process to transfer my current phone number ([redacted]) back to my LG Tracfone without losing any minutes? Additionally, I am interested in purchasing a reasonably priced android phone from the Tracfone store with a strong antenna. Do you have any recommendations?
If I decide to change my phone number in the future, will I lose the remaining minutes on my account? Lastly, I would also like to know how I can obtain a shipping label to return the new phone.

I can't recall the screen lock pattern I set on my Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro five hours ago. I've been locked out after multiple failed attempts and can't make calls or access my phone. I've been trying to unlock it all evening. Please assist me. My name is Theresa, and I'm using an iPad to contact you. My email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted]

Good morning, my name is Thomas Miltenberger. I am contacting you regarding transferring my Verizon account to TracFone. I spoke with two representatives yesterday and obtained the required pin number. I am unsure of any additional information needed but have the pin number ready. The TracFone I received is pre-owned, and they confirmed yesterday that it is suitable. I have my SIM card and minutes card inserted as advised. I believe the only requirement now is this pin number. Please process this transfer as soon as possible, as I will be traveling across the country on Christmas morning. Thank you.

I recently purchased a new prepaid card but haven't received the minutes on my phone after a week. I currently have [redacted].40 minutes and need to use them before my service ends on Jan. 23rd. Despite being a loyal Tracfone customer, customer service was unable to switch my phone from Spanish back to English. A Target employee helped me change it back, highlighting the poor customer service experience. I still have pending credits, [redacted].40 unused minutes, a card with [redacted] minutes, and service until Jan. 23rd. At 77 years old, I don't have the time or money to deal with this ongoing issue. I've tried reaching out for help but have not received a response. I'm determined to have this matter resolved.

My two-month-old phone is only working half the time. It keeps showing "device not activated," even though I've tried to reactivate it through my account multiple times. I have three phones with Tracfone that have been activated before, but now I can't activate any of them. The online chat option is not working; every time I click it, nothing happens. It's frustrating because when my phone is not working, I can't easily reach out for help as advertised. Since my phone was deactivated on January 6, it has only worked for a few hours, and I haven't received calls. The signal is also gone, showing a circle with a line through it. Before this issue, I had never experienced signal problems. Having no signal makes the phone useless. I have access to WiFi for online chats, but the service is not delivering as promised. I would like either a fix or a refund for the three months I've already paid so I can switch to a more reliable service provider. It's not just my location; others here have service, including my son who uses Tracfone and has good reception.

I purchased a Samsung A01 phone from Dollar General after confirming with the manager that it was compatible with AT&T. Google also verified that it would work with my AT&T SIM card and would be free to unlock. However, now TracFone claims I agreed to a year-long contract, which I never did as I made sure not to accept any terms and services. I cannot return the phone and am now $70 out, unwilling to pay for a service I don't need since I already have an AT&T family plan. I am adamant that I did not agree to any terms and services and did not authorize any charges. Can you please unlock my phone for free as promised by Google?

Hello, I'm KM, and I've been a loyal Tracfone customer for some time. Recently, I encountered some issues with Tracfone's support that left me feeling frustrated. After activating my new phone and trying to add a new [redacted] minutes, [redacted] SMS, and [redacted] MB data plan to my existing contract, I faced a series of challenges. The support chat ended abruptly, leaving me uncertain about the progress. Despite being given a service number and assurances of a quick resolution, my new plan has yet to be activated after four days. My phone only reflects a new service end date without the promised minutes, data, or SMS. I hope this situation can be resolved promptly and accurately without further delays. Service Order([redacted]), serial number for the phone number [redacted]: [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted].

I need help transferring photos from an old phone with a broken, unresponsive screen to my computer. While I can connect the phone to the computer and see the device recognized, I'm unable to access the pictures due to the screen issue. Since the phone hasn't been in use for a while and the screen is shattered, the usual unlocking method is not an option. I believe there must be an alternative way to transfer the photos without needing to unlock the phone. Any suggestions on how to import these pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I have been laid off all winter due to Covid-19 and received free cell service via the Lifeline program. After a bad experience with a different company, I found Q Link Wireless through an ad, advertising unlimited service if I brought my own phone. I purchased a great Galaxy phone from eBay after checking its compatibility on their website. Despite waiting for the sim card, purchasing accessories, and researching apps, I faced an issue with an invalid sim error. After multiple frustrating calls and hours on the phone, I learned my phone wasn't supported. Now I have a perfect Galaxy S6 but cannot use the free service.

My previous Tracfone stopped working, so I purchased a new phone at Walmart. I contacted customer service yesterday to activate the new phone and transfer my old number, which was [redacted]. I paid $[redacted] with my Visa card to renew the one-year service plan. The new phone's serial number is [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted].
Unfortunately, despite providing my credit card details, the new phone was not activated. Every time I call, the electronic answering service leads to a dead end and disconnects me. I am considering contacting my credit card company to contest the charge.
I use the phone for emergencies and had minimal usage last year. Improving the accessibility of your customer service for older individuals would be beneficial. Thank you.

I recently bought a Tracfone card for [redacted] minutes for $39.99, but upon trying to add the minutes, I was informed by Tracfone that my phone wasn't activated. The store where I purchased the card claimed it was activated and refused a refund. I am disappointed in Tracfone for distributing faulty cards to stores. I simply request a replacement Tracfone card with [redacted] minutes or a refund of $39.99.

Dear Customer Service,
I recently switched from Consumer Cellular to Tracfone, but now I am having issues with my Tracfone account. My Consumer Cellular account is disconnected, and when I try to use my new Tracfone, it prompts me for a SIM network unlock PIN. I purchased a 30-day plan from Walmart with receipt number [redacted][redacted]. When I attempt to activate my phone service online, it requests my old phone number, which is [redacted], and then displays a message saying "CSR help is required."
I am currently without a working phone and would appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter.
Thank you,
Wayne R. K.

I have been waiting for over an hour to unlock my Tracfone, but the process is incredibly frustrating. After trying the online chat and getting a callback, I had to repeat myself multiple times and was put on hold while being charged by Tracfone. The representative had difficulty hearing me, and despite street noises being audible on the call, my concerns were ignored. I spoke to a supposed Manager, Jumalyn, who informed me I would need to pay a fee for early unlocking without disclosing the amount. Subsequently, I was transferred to Julio, who stated the fee would be around $82, almost 70% of the cost of a new phone on their website. When I inquired about receiving an invoice or a refund, I was told this was not their procedure. Julio promised to restore my unused minutes and text confirmation, but this has not happened. I had considered switching to Red Pocket Mobile but now feel compelled to share my negative experience with Tracfone.

I have been on the bring your own phone plan using phone number [redacted]. I am trying to switch from my Samsung Galaxy to my Iphone 11 by purchasing a new Verizon sim card as suggested by a representative. After speaking to a rep about transferring my account to my Iphone using the specific sim card (#[redacted][redacted]25, order #[redacted]2), I encountered an issue where my Iphone displayed an incompatible message. The call got disconnected, and I was left without a functioning phone. I am unable to reach out for further assistance. Please, can someone advise on whether I need to acquire another sim card for my Iphone 11? Thank you.

I bought a Galaxy A10e Tracfone on Verizon towers in November [redacted]. However, I've been experiencing severe issues with receiving calls, texts, and notifications. I've been in constant contact with customer service for the past two months to troubleshoot my phone, but the solutions provided are only temporary. I've never set up call forwarding, yet I keep getting this instruction to dial *73 and restart my device. This ongoing problem has caused me to miss important calls, including those from family members and during emergencies like my husband's accident. Despite replacing the SIM card and requesting a Wi-Fi calling capable one, the issue persists. My network status always shows as disconnected, even though I should be on Verizon towers. Customer service keeps suggesting getting a new phone for further troubleshooting, which defeats the purpose of switching to a new provider. I just want my phone to function properly without the constant need for lengthy troubleshooting sessions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I spoke with a live representative earlier regarding issues with my Tracfone. They redirected me to several departments, claiming my credit card was declined. The agent promised to call me at 5pm on my home phone. However, I received a blocked call and unsure if it was from Tracfone. Please contact me at [redacted] to resolve the problem as I missed their earlier call. If you attempt to call and it shows as blocked, provide me with your number. If necessary, I'll find an alternative method for you to reach me. Contact me at [redacted] to schedule a call with an agent to clarify the situation. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

My wife has spoken with three representatives to activate a new Tracfone for my 89-year-old mother, who only knows how to make and answer calls. The first representative promised to call back later in the day to complete the activation but didn't. The second representative requested the phone's serial number, which was provided. After that, the third representative claimed the phone was activated but needed to be set up to work. My wife is currently on her way to my mother's town to assist with setting up the phone. Is there a more efficient way to activate a phone? If not, and if my mother struggles even after this, we may consider switching to a different provider for her next phone.
